Adorada and Ensueno are kittens who were rescued from the Bronx. While they enjoy playing together, they do not appear to be a bonded pair and may be adopted individually. Adorada is a friendly, confident goofball who loves to play with humans, kitties, toys, and, of course, cardboard boxes. He is very food-motivated and will happily take treats from our hands. He is prone to entertaining bursts of energy that find him hopping and sprinting around the room. He is fast becoming a cuddly baby who loves to take pets, but will need some more coaxing to feel comfortable sleeping on or near people. Ensueno is a calm, cautious kitty who likes to watch Adorada’s antics from a distance, occasionally jumping in to play when she’s ready. She is very curious about her environment and likes to carefully explore every nook of the space. While Ensueno is not yet comfortable being touched, she’s slowly getting more used to indoor living with people. She shows her personality more and more every day, and with a little time and patience, this shy girl will come fully out of her shell. These two kittens are bonded and must be adopted together -- applications for just one of them will not be processed. Please note that they are recently rescued and may not yet be spayed/neutered -- their adoption fee may be higher to cover their surgeries. show less

We strongly suspect that these adorable babies are actually dogs in kitten form. They greet you at the door. They come running when you call their name. They climb all over you when you sit down. Their happiest place is in your lap. Second happiest place is on your chest. Third happiest is on your shoulder. You get the idea. This precious trio will be everything you ever wanted in a kitten and more. Now, for the specifics: Baby J. (ginger with brown on nose): The friendliest and most communicative of the group, Baby J. won't hesitate to give you the world's cutest little "MEEP" when he needs to be fed.  Baby J. is also famous for rubbing his head all over your face on a daily basis and curling up around your neck like a very fluffy, cruelty-free kitten scarf. He's definitely a star. Bruce (gray):  Bruce is a total model.  He loves showing off his enormous gray-blue eyes and his precious little upturned chipmunk nose.  He's also a lover.  He's perfectly content falling asleep on your leg, on your chest, or on your shoulder during a zoom call--he's not picky.  He loves to be near people and will come running up and down stairs and to other rooms to reach you as soon as he hears your voice. These babies will make anyone very lucky.  Can you tell their fosters are big fans? These kittens are bonded must be adopted together -- applications for just one of them will not be processed. Please note that they are recently rescued and may not yet be spayed/neutered -- their adoption fee may be higher to cover their surgeries. Baby J and Bruce have a third brother, Butterscotch, who would make a great third kitten if you're looking for a trio! show less

Barolo and Lambrusco are two precious bonded siblings who just need a safe home with love and treats so that they can really blossom. This gorgeous, green-eyed pair love to play, wrestle, and climb every available surface… they’re just not convinced yet that humans are trustworthy playmates too. But with some time and loving attention, they’ll be eating out of the palm of your hand (literally -- they are obsessed with food).  Barolo is a petite all-black girl with just the tiniest hint of white fluff on her belly. She is the mellower of the two, but becomes quite the maniac once the Cat Dancer toy comes out. You won’t believe how high she can jump for such a tiny girl! Her big sister Lambrusco has the cutest kitten pudginess and a very dapper white chest puff. She puts on a tough gal act and isn’t afraid to let out a hiss or two… but she’s slowly discovering the joys of butt scratches and meat tubes, and the humans they’re attached to.  Do you have love to give and some time to help these two learn to love you back? Then apply to adopt these gorgeous Italian wine kittens :) These two kittens are bonded and must be adopted together -- applications for just one of them will not be processed. Please note that they are recently rescued and may not yet be spayed/neutered -- their adoption fee may be higher to cover their surgeries. show less

Looking for someone who thinks you walk on water? Who cheerfully greets you when you walk in the room?  Who seeks you out for warmth and love? Becca Lee, a young black and white tuxedo girl, is the kitten for you. Fully-socialized, she enjoys cozying-up to her humans and happily seeks out a warm snuggle spot in the crook of your neck or at your elbow. Serving up non-stop de-stressing purr-therapy, Becca Lee will thrum-thrum on your chest until you’re fully in the zen-zone. She enjoys all the kitten pursuits: playing with the ball tower, surprising her foster sister Wildflower, and confidently exploring her space. She’s also an absolute champ at flying through the air chasing her bird toy.  Wildflower is not a wallflower! This tabby girl continues to expand her range of exploration finding interesting things to play with and good naps spots everywhere she goes. All big ears and soulful eyes, Wildflower tracks her humans closely and seeks out interactions. Despite a hopping gait due paralysis in right front leg, Wildflower gets around everywhere she wants to go. She plays, leaps, and races up and down stairs like any other kitten. Possibly due to her injury, she was initially a bit shy and self-protective, but since arriving at her fosterers, her level of trust in humans grows daily (especially at meal time), she responds to cheek rubs and treats with satisfied purring and stretches out on her back for belly rubs. Wallflower loves her foster sister Becca Lee and can often be found curled up next to her, rolling around on the floor wrestling, or playfully batting Becca’s tail. These two cats are closely bonded and must be adopted together -- applications for just one of them will not be processed. show less

Sweet, cuddly Benny has so much love to give! He loves getting pets, being near you, dozing on the couch, and purring the afternoon away in your lap. When he’s awake, he tends to be very curious about what you’re doing on the computer and wants to inspect your Google docs at close range. When human bedtime rolls around, he may curl up right next to you or at the foot of your bed.  While Benny truly excels at snoozing, he is also a very energetic young cat who needs a healthy amount of play to be happy. You will love watching this champion high jumper stalk and leap for his favorite mousey on a wand toy! He would be great on a cat basketball team if you know of anyone holding tryouts.   His fosters suspect Benny has experienced some food insecurity in the past, as he tends to get excitable at mealtime. He is not shy to tell you when the service is too slow, but will also happily lick a liquid meat treat off your hand. When you cook, he may demand to taste test your meal — for your own safety, surely! When he is not busy being a total sweetheart, approaching you for headbutts and nuzzles and pets, he does sometimes attack legs and hands in an unbecoming manner. Hopefully he will grow out of this as he gets more comfy in his foster home. Regular interactive play is very important to help Benny be his best self, and we think he also needs a feline friend to appreciate and help channel his youthful energy. Benny needs to be adopted with a friend -- applications for them as a single cat will not be answered.   show less
