About Rudolph Valentino

Rudolph Valentino (Rudy), a very handsome young adult, is an independent boy who loves meal time, play time, and treat time. He can be a bit skittish when initially approached, but if there’s a treat or a wand toy ready for him, he’ll come right back to you. After a good play session, Rudy relaxes and enjoys gentle pets and attention. Rudy loves other cats and has bonded well with the four cats in his foster home. As a result, we think it best if he is adopted into a home where there are other cats for him to play with. Because of his bashfulness and tendency to be a little skittish at times, Rudy is best suited for a quiet, adult home where he will be the center of attention and can continue to respond to patience and gentle socialization. Rudy has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and FeLV/FIV tested negative. His adoption fee of $95 helps Friends of Chicago Animal Care & Control continue their life-saving helping to save Chicago's neediest animals. If you had to describe Eagan in one word it would be "grateful." Have you ever met a cat who just KNOWS they have been rescued and given a chance at s better life? That's Eagan. He is a sweet and cuddly 5 year old tuxedo kitty who just wants to show you how appreciative he is to be in a warm and loving home. Life hasn't been that easy for Eagan, especially since he's been living on the streets for the last 3 years, but you would never know that when you meet him. He clearly loves being in a home and will follow you anywhere you go. He is quite the conversationalist with his tiny little chirps and meeps in response to anything you say to him. He loves to cuddle and just wants to make biscuits on you then fall asleep. Eagan is a calm adult cat, but will suddenly turn into a kitten when given a feather toy to play with. This also means that he is perfect for any living environment, from a small studio to a large, spacious house. Eagan is a big, fluffy boy who acts more like a giant teddy bear. He is a gentle and kind soul. Eagan is best living as an only cat. He also contracted FIV during his times on the street, which means he must be kept strictly indoors to avoid any exposures to outside diseases. However, FIV kitties can lead very long, healthy, and happy lives, so please don't let this deter you from bringing this grateful sweetheart into your home. Eagan has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and FeLV tested negative. His adoption fee of $95 supports Friends of Chicago Animal Care & Control in their mission to save Chicago's neediest animals. You must be a lover of sleeping with tigers because this gentle giant is the ultimate snuggler! His favorite way of sleeping is to burrow completely underneath the covers next to you. This also happens to be his favorite hiding spot when he doesn’t want to be found, so beware of sitting on lumps on the bed. Greef has spent most of his life in a dark basement with not many toys but, plenty of cats. He was rescued from an overcrowded situation. His former owners seemed to love him a lot however, they lacked the education needed to understand that cats need plenty of playtime with space to run. Because of this Greef loves to play! You would never guess his age during playtime. He wants to play more than some of the other younger cats in his foster household. He is also an excellent red dot(laser pointer) hunter and bug killer. You can often find him buried in the cat toy pile, with the cat nip toys being his top pick! Just recently FCACC helped him with dental surgery. He received a clean bill of health during that check up and also ended up with just 1 large front snaggletooth left. Because of this he requires a wet food diet. He does eat some dry food but, it is limited as it is hard for him to chew. Greef is more on the shyer side and takes a bit to warm up to you but once he does, he is a confident snuggle ball of love. A quiet home would be best for this boy as loud noises tend to frighten him. He is totally comfortable around other cats and stands confident if other cats try to bully him. He enjoys the company of other cats but, tends to be more of a loner, minding his own business. Greef Karga has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and virus-tested negative.
