Smiling, snuggling Sapphire is ready to bring her zen-like friendship and silly mojo to your home! Every morning, she begins the day with a ritual: she sits and presses herself into her foster momâs chest, getting a long pet and a face massage, complete with piggy snorts and her chin on her FMâs shoulder. If you need a buddy for your morning mindfulness or coffee, Sapphire volunteers (but please donât stop petting her!). Massages, snuggles, and pats are always welcome in Sapphireâs book, and sheâs made a name for herself as âBest Huggerâ once she gets to know you. But itâs not all rest and relaxation for Sapphire! She has an adventurous side, too, and is happy to go on nice neighborhood walks, or her favorite thing: Car rides! (Seriously, sheâll try to get in any open car door--so make sure itâs yours!) She loves to be in the car, letting the nice windy sniffs and smells wash over her. Sheâll happily accompany you for car adventures to scenic overlooks or meandering hikes. At home, Sapphire has nice house manners and enjoys relaxing and helping out with taste testing snacks--she enjoys pretty much anything, including veggies that she loves to crunch! Sheâll show you her silly side, too, with little zooms and spurts of energy complete with tip-tapping toenails that will make you smile. Sapphire received 6 weeks of training from our partners at the Paws For Life prison training program. With a little consistency and structure, she makes for a fantastic best friend. Sapphire would prefer to be the only pet in the home--itâs for the best, because she will keep you busy with all the hugging, massages, and snuggling your heart could ever desire! You can check out Sapphire in action on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/papapawwow/ About 5 years old and 50 pounds, Sapphire is crate-trained, house-trained, micro-chipped, up to date on routine vaccinations and knows her basic commands. show less
