Her sharp intellect and craving for attention make her an ideal student for further training. Mia's journey to happiness had a rocky start. Initially, despite her endearing personality, she seemed to carry an unshakeable sadness. Even with quality food and extra feedings, her weight didn't improve. Our vigilant team, dedicated to Mia's well-being, soon intervened. Comprehensive veterinary examinations and blood work revealed the root cause: Exocrine Pancreatic Enzyme Insufficiency (EPI). Mia's pancreas wasn't producing enough enzymes to digest her food, thus she couldn't absorb nutrients and gain weight. Undeterred by the diagnosis, we started Mia on a lifelong medication course, resulting in a remarkable transformation. Mia now brims with vivacious energy, making the most of her days, and contentedly winding down in the comfort of a loving lap. Her monthly food and medication cost is approximately $100-$150, an investment we are prepared to cover for the initial four months. It was paramount to investigate Mia's health struggles, and it's heartening to see her renewed vitality.
