About Kelsey

Age: 6 years.
Weight: 50 pounds.
Must have a physically fenced-in yard.

Meet Kelsey! Kelsey came to Mostly Muttz after living outside on a farm with many other dogs for the first six years of her life. She was rescued along with her six puppies, who have since been adopted and are known to our rescue as the 'Irish Litter'.

Kelsey would love nothing more than to share your sofa or bed with you in her forever home. While this girl is somewhat timid, she loves nothing more than to be curled up by your side once she knows she is loved. She prefers to spend the majority of her day indoors and is an all-around very easy girl. Kelsey does not need to be crated in the home while by herself. She does well with other dogs but is not interested in playing and would do best with another laid-back dog. She is very food motivated and she absolutely loves to go for car rides.

Kelsey is still adjusting to life in a neighborhood, but making fantastic progress. City life would be overwhelming for her and is not recommended. She walks nicely on a leash but prefers short walks rather than long walks.

Age: 11 years.  Weight: 25 pounds.  Reported: Good with cats and laid-back dogs. This pretty girl, LADE, has a cute stub of a tail and is absolutely beautiful! She enjoys napping on the couch next to her humans, going for walks, and exploring the yard.  Mostly Muttz first rescued LADE when she was surrendered to a shelter because her owner passed away. She was adopted, but sadly she lost that parent too. Because poor Lade has lost her previous two owners, she can get worried when you leave the house, but over time she learns you are coming back. Then, Lade will begin to relax when being left alone. If you are someone who works from home or are retired, she would make a wonderful companion. If you have another dog in your home, she does okay as long as it is laid-back. You will want to make sure to give her a private area to eat her food. LADE is perfect with cats and has lived with many. At 11 years young she still likes to play with soft squeaky toys, she will even bring them to you to play fetch. She is also happy to roll around on her back and play by herself - it's so cute to watch this senior have fun! See the video in her profile and see LADE playing with her favorite lobster toy! LADE is such a wonderful little dog that has so much love left to give to a lucky family! Apply for her today! If you are interested in adopting this older gal and would like to provide the loving home this beauty deserves, please contact Mostly Muttz! You can apply at show less
