Autumn is a very sweet loving cat.  She LOVES people and dogs and although she tolerates other cats she would prefer to be the only one.   Autumn came to us with an old pelvic injury that doesn't cause her any pain but does make her prone to constipation.  She is on a very cheap daily medication and must eat canned cat food to manage this condition.  She still sometimes needs her butt wiped or help going.  I know it seems like a lot but if her food and meds are controlled she has very few issues and she has sooo much love to give. show less

She's shy and not much of a cuddler. She prefers to not be picked up and held, but will come for neck rubs and booty scratches. She does very well with other cats, still iffy on the dog (but my dog is hyper and big). Not sure how she'd be with children as i so not have young ones. She's still startled by sudden movements or loud noises. She loves to hiss at every thing (its actually pretty cute.) She enjoys laying on her blanket in her crate and has started to play with the ball tower and and exploring the cat tree. 😍  vet estimated my age at 2-3 years old! show less

Benjamin came to us from a local dog kennel where he was surrendered by his family due to them moving into an apartment.  Within a few days of getting Benjamin we realized something was wrong.  Ben was very sick and ended up at the emergency vet. After testing was done he was found to have renal dysplasia (basically his kidneys didn't develop).  He was given 1-2 months to live but has exceeded that and is doing well and is stable!  Due to Ben's young age we would like to find him an adopter to live out his days (unknown timeline). Ben is on prescription food (Purina NF wet and dry) along with Coq10, fish oil, and probiotics (Visbiome).  He also needs bloodwork every 3-6 months.  He MUST stay on the above regimen. Ben LOVES car rides (especially with his head out the window).  He does amazing at the vet!  He is neutered and fully vaccinated.  Heartworm negative and on prevention.  He is crate trained but has to go out often due to his kidney disease.  He is very friendly!  He is good with kids but occasionally still jumps up. He loves other dogs and could do well as an only pet or with a female dog!  Ben is currently 104lbs! show less

This is Bishop. He is an almost 8 year old shepherd pit mix, but not 100% sure on that. We have had him since he was a puppy, but over the years old age has gotten to him. He is a loving dog and loves to snuggle, but our home is no longer a good fit for him. He can not be in a home with cats or smaller animals. He is dog selective, but I’d say with experience to just go with only pet home. He is food and toy aggressive. We have three young kids and he growls at them. So no small kids in the home. He’s the type of dog that you can’t have windows open otherwise he will go right through them. We are looking for a home that has more time to work with him and maybe the issues will get better. show less

Brewer is an 8 year old, female tabby. She is absolutely stunning and has acclimated nicely to an indoor life. Brewer came to us, from outside, during a polar vortex. She may still be just a tad shy but she appreciates receiving affection and is known to seek it out when she wants it. Brewer likes to be pet and, while she does not care to be picked up, she will sit on your lap. She likes other cats and would do best in a quieter household where she can calmy supervise all the comings and goings.  She does not hide and is usually close by observing. It is undeniable that Brewer has a serious case of RBF (resting b@#$ face but she is actually a very swet cat. Want to give this sweet, little girl a chance? show less

Carti is a lover through-and-through! He will play a bit, but what he really loves to do is to rub on everything he can touch! His coloring is beautiful and he is a wonderful companion to have around. He has been around kids, and is warming up to the foster's dog as well. Gets along well with other cats, too. show less

I was trapped after being dumped at the train tracks in Cleveland.  I am shy but enjoy pets once I trust you.  I am not a lap cat yet but I am sure I will come around soon with patience and love.  I have been exposed to children and I am fine with them as long as they respect my space.  I have been around cats in the colony I was in and did well.  I have seen a mellow dog and did well but have not been around them extensively. show less

Cookie was the recent momma of 4 beautiful kittens, and she did an amazing job of raising them. But now it's her turn! The kids are now independent and she's ready to roll. This strikingly beautiful girl is very playful, sweet and chatty, so she'd be a wonderful companion for anyone who wants to come home and talk to someone about their busy day! According to her foster, Cookie loved to lay next to her and receive lots of pets. She's super nice and will bring lots of love to your home! show less

Cuddles is an obnoxiously loving and affectionate cat once he trusts you.  He purrs constantly and rubs all over you and does figure eights between your legs.  However, until he trusts you, he can be pretty hissy.  He has gotten much better with strangers and usually only gives a hiss or two now and maybe a swat or two.  He loves some cats and doesn't care for others.  If you are looking for an affectionate, lovable lap cat Cuddles is it..he just needs sometime to adjust to a new home. show less
