Tater Salad will be ready for adoption soon! We are accepting applications😍   Tater is a 2 year old English Bulldog mix. Rescued from a local shelter where they live trapped her after being notified she was living in a field and fearful of people. She spent a few weeks at the shelter putting on some much needed weight. I was checking their website when I saw her picture. I knew I had to go see her. Being a previous bully owner I fell in love. This poor girl obviously had not been shown love or kindness. The minute we walked out their doors her world changed. A quick visit to the vet told us she weighed 50# and had some health issues that needed attention. Tater had a cherry eye, was in heat, and an infection in both ears. Besides all that she smelled horribly. A Bath and some good meds had us going in the right direction. We also found that Tater had a urinary tract infection. Add in some oral  antibiotics and she started to feel much better.   Jumping forward to today. Thank heavens for Kira and Tacking in the Shadows. They as always have taken Tater under their wing. She has received the much needed medical treatments that have helped Tater to feel so much better. I have seen huge changes in this sweet girl. First and foremost Tater is a bully. Only a bully owner will understand what this means. She is a solid individual. Weighing 52# and still needs to put on a few pounds. This girl had to learn how to be friends with other animals. Being bulldozed isn't fun if you are on the receiving end. Her demeanor is different than most dogs. Also lets face it, looks alone make other dogs go hmmm.   Tater would like an owner with bully experience. She is a higher than normal maintenance girl. With the rolls comes the need for wipes and frequent skin care. Her cherry eye has been repaired and she is fully vetted. Her forever home will need the following. An owner who will help her make good choices. Tater will take charge if you don't. Absolutely no cats or small dogs. A dog equal to her size would be fine with a prior meet and greet. She would do best with a submissive dog. Tater is a Diva! We will require a fenced yard higher than 4'. Older children are fine. This girl is very independent. Loves attention and is a toy destroyer. Likes her crate and needs to be fed separately due to food aggression.    Adoption Application may be found at Adoption fee is $175 show less
