About Sadie

Adoption Fee: $250

This girl is super sweet with a very playful, fun personality.   She can be shy at first but warms up quickly. Once she does, she’s so very sweet and loves to cuddle.

Miss Sadie is good with other dogs with proper introduction and with kids! She would do best with another high energy dog.  She would also be ok with dog savvy cats.

She loves to take care rides, especially when it involves a pup cup from Dairy Queen!  She is also an adorable little fashionista who likes to mix it up between being a girly-girl or tomboy, sporty or just your girl next door.

She is one smart pup too! She is working on house training, she is good on leash and listens well to commands like sit, stay and off.  She looks forward to a family that will continue to work with her on positive reinforcement basic training.

This girl is ready for a forever home and someone to love and call her family. Is it you?  She is a 2-year-old, 46lb female Pit/Beagle Terrier mix.

As part of Sadie's $250 adoption fee, she is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. If you have questions about this sweet girl, you can email Dogteam@pawsforlifenc.org.  If you wish to adopt Sadie, you can fill in an online application for her under the Adopt a Pet Tab on our website:  www.pawsforlifenc.org

I’m ready for my family!!!  I will make someone a great active companion for walking and other fun outdoor activities! I absolutely LOVE to ride in the car and go on adventures,  I do the cutesiest little chatter when I’m really excited. I’m still young, so I still have lots to learn!  And I really like positive reinforcement training and learning new things - I am quick study but like any puppy need continued practice. My ideal home would be one with a fenced in yard for me to run and explore.  I would love having another playful medium-large dog in the house, or going to doggie day care!  Aspen is best suited to an experienced person, someone to keep her busy and continue her training! She had some resource guarding as a small puppy so continued training would be perfect for her! She will not be adopted into a home with children. She is currently living with a cat, who is very submissive with dogs, but she does fixate on him. So either a home with no cats or a cat willing to stand their ground would be best. (DOB 2/20/21)  As part of Aspen's $275 adoption fee, she is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and current on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. If you have questions about this sweet girl, you can email Dogteam@pawsforlifenc.org.  If you wish to adopt Aspen, you can fill in an online application for her under the Adopt a Pet Tab on our website:  www.pawsforlifenc.org show less

Bruno goes to the office each day with his foster mom and furry sibling and settles right in!  Do you have a job you can take your dog with you to work, well Bruno is ready to "apply"!  To get to work, he is awesome in the car and loves to get right in and go.  He will be great motivation during your work day to get up and take a break, get some fresh air, and go for a walk. He would be a great ambassador for your office since he loves everyone he meets! He loves being outside.  Bruno could be an apartment pup and does not require a fence as long as his adoptive family is active and will get him out and about throughout the day.  Bruno doesn't want to be couped up or left alone all day (in the process of crate training)...that would be too boring for him. He is good on a leash and loves to go for daily walks.  Bruno likes playing with people and other pups. He enjoys playing fetch and will bring the ball back, tug-o-war, romping and running with 2-legged and 4-legged friends and playing with a variety of toys. So a family with other dogs would be nice.  He is polite and shares is toys nicely, too.  He is a happy boy with a joyful personality!  Bruno loves his people and is loyal...he promises to love you more than you love him!! Bruno is a bit of a ladies man or at least he seems to prefer them over men.  He loves being with his people and getting attention.  He likes to snuggle and be next to you but not necissarily on top of you. He never gets tired of love, attention, belly rubs and being petted. He has the cutest pink belly with spots!! He is well behaved and obediant.  He is treat motivated so continued positive reinforecment training will be good for Bruno.  Bruno loves meal time and gobble it up.  His drinking is a little sloppy but cute. Meet Bruno!  He is a 1.5-year-old, 65.5lb male Hound/Pit mix.  Bruno, unfortunately, was not on heartworm prevention and is heartworm positive. He can be adopted locally (within 1 hour of Wake Forest) so we can continue his heartworm treatmeant.  Our rescue will complete his heartworm treatment. As part of Bruno's $250 adoption fee, he is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. If you have questions about this sweet boy, you can email Dogteam@pawsforlifenc.org.  If you wish to adopt Bruno, you can fill in an online application for him under the Adopt a Pet Tab on our website:  www.pawsforlifenc.org show less
