Albus is a baby we picked up from Animal Control after he was found as a stray. He was found with tether scars around his neck and had been abused. Albus is gaining confidence and acting like a normal puppy now, just a little tentative when first meeting new people. Albus is deaf- but he is smart! He has learned sit, no, down (off furniture for instance), bedtime, come (in daytime and at night), and learning to ring a bell to go outside for potty. Alex is a sweet and very clever boy.  He is a shepard that is approximately two years old.  Prior to being rescued, this boy didn't get the human interaction he deserved, so Alex is now learning his manners and basic commands, but he is eager to please and learning quickly.  Alex needs a strong leader and will thrive with an experienced owner. As a typical shepard, Alex will need an active family that can give him the exercise and mental stimulation that shepards need. His new home will have to enjoy both exercise and training. Hi I am King, my name used to be amir but I am pretty sure I am royalty so I changed it. Sometimes I live by my own set of rules but I am learning to listen to my foster mom. I love to play with other dogs however I forget how big i am and sometimes can be alot for the old farts who live here. I always tell them age is just a number and we gotta keep active. When I do find my family I would like them to have a yard and take me to training so I can gain my brain muscle because as you can see I got the real muscles. I don't use the potty in the house because eww. I need someone to help me with my leash manners but I am working on it. I do well in my royal crate and I do love human snacks and I will help you share them with me if they are on the counter. Our Adoption Fees are $300 for adults and puppies.  Axel would most certainly grace the cover of Dog GQ- if there were such a thing! He is a handsome, young terrier mix, approximately 2 years old, with tons of puppy energy. Axel is looking for a home that can keep up with his training and continue to work on his dog-socialization skills. He would do well in an active home that he can call his own without any furry siblings. He would be an excellent running partner for someone, although he also walks well on a leash. Axel is so smart, and he knows many commands such as sit, lay down, shake, come, and stay.  He loves to play with stuffed toys and chase bugs in the moonlight, and he is a big snuggler. Bandi is a middle aged (8 yo) high society dame from a fine family, registered akc shih tzu, looking for a companion. I like to live a quiet life and don’t need much except your love and attention. I want my furever home to be 1 bed (yours) and don’t even need indoor plumbing as I take care of my business outside the home. I prefer no other roommates (feline or canine) but will manage if I have to. Also I prefer constant companionship and do not want to be by myself all day. I will squish my tushy in your lap and follow you around the house stopping to look out the window or have a snack. Interested qualified suitors only need apply for this dame. BG is a sweet, older, calm pup that is more of the type to enjoy Netflix and chill nights. After living the first 7 yrs of her life on a chain, she is definitely enjoying the indoor life. She picked up on house training and crate training like a breeze. Having recently discovered toys and watching other dogs play with them, she has decided to give them a try too and seems to like them so far. She has always been around dogs but doesn’t really interact much with them so would be great being an only pet as well. If other dogs are in the house, she would probably prefer calmer ones to lay around and chill with. Great on a leash and does enjoy walks. Would be ideal for an older person or couple that wants a calm companion. show less
