Betty is a sweet older lady who would love to be a part of your family. She will happily sleep next to you on the couch, but she also enjoys slowly trotting next to you on her daily walks (great on the leash!). She does great with her foster brothers, and any dogs she meets. She doesn’t seem to mind cats. She is very well mannered, crate trained, and is working on house training. show less

This young lady is very special...she's a hound so you must love and have experience with hounds...  Cinnamon came to us from Kentucky ready to give birth and she did so with her foster family.  She was the most wonderful and attentive mama.  Her pups have moved on and she has definitely come out of her shell or unpacked her bags as we like to say.  She is 2-3 years old, loves her foster siblings and is very playful.  She loves to run and wrestle!  She even loves the big tabby cat that rules the house.  She tries very hard to get him to play.  She has become talkative with her playmate and begs for her to get off the couch and play!!  She is a snuggler and will fall asleep draped across her foster mom's lap!  She does need a little manners training.  She will try to grab a sandwich from your hand and food from the counter.  If caught she has no remorse...lol!!  She will grab shoes and pillows but will drop them easily when she hears a firm no!  She is crate trained and housebroken, nice on a leash and is a very sweet soul.  She is not very comfortable around children so a home with adults is the best fit for her.  Lastly, she either needs a 6' fence or walked on a leash at all times.  Being the hound that she is, she wants to chase squirrels and rabbits and has jumped the porch railing and 4' fence at her foster home.  Until her escape, she spent her days sunbathing and chewing on bones on the deck and running the yard with her BFF.  She is worth the effort according to her foster mom and will make the right person the most loyal companion. show less

Meet Coco! Coco is a 1.5 year old lab mix and after being hit by a car last October spent the last 6 months with a medical foster while she underwent surgery to save her leg before being transferred to paws! While she gets around great and has fully recovered, over-use of her leg can leave her sore/stiff. Coco is a typical loving laid back lab who loves to play with toys and always wants to be with her people. Coco gets along with other dogs but gets protective of her toys/food, so we feel that coco would do best as an only dog.  show less

Meet Cocoa! This curious, 10 month-old boy was found with his 2 brothers outside in the cold during winter. Cocoa has been spending his time in foster care the last few months getting used to people and the sounds of indoor living. He's very friendly, loves attention, and purrs like a motor when he gets pets! He also loves to play. When he gets startled Or is unsure, his instinct to hide kicks in. But his curiosity and desire to play bring him back around in no time! Cocoa does well with other cats. He gets along well with his brothers and is very interested in the foster's resident cats. He has not spent any time with dogs. He may be afraid of rambunctious younger children so he's recommended for a home with older children or no children. Cocoa is the dominant kitty when interacting with his brothers. He's the first to eat and he steals all of the attention! This is an important consideration if he will be homed with another dominant cat. Cocoa will need some time and patience  to adapt and trust new people in a new home environment . Before long he'll be asking for attention and playtime! show less

Diamond is a sweet ~50 lb ~4 year old shepherd mix who came to us as a stray after living outside for a few years. Diamond is shy and skittish at first, but is continuing to open up as she gains trust with her foster family. She LOVES finally having the comforts of a home!! Diamond's favorite activities are taking naps on the couch, going for walks, following a doggie companion around, and getting pets/attention once she feels comfortable. She now occasionally even plays with toys and her foster sister! Diamond requires a secure, fenced in yard and another medium-to-large dog, as well as a patient adopter who will give her time to come out of her shell. Absolutely NO small dogs, cats, or other small animals in the home. Diamond is house trained, crate trained, and walks well on a leash! Help give this sweet girl a chance to finally shine!! show less

Talked about rescued and saved? Take a look at the before and after for Harris! His foster has worked so hard to heal his skin! It’s finally his turn for forever!  Harris is an affectionate, fun-loving, full of energy and super smart ~2yr old boy! He spends most of his waking hours playing. He has a lot of energy that needs to be worked off daily or he will get bored and become destructive. He is crate trained and willingly wears a belly band inside the house. Mowgli is still healing after some trauma, you will need to go slow when you first meet him. That being said, just give him some good scritches and he will adore you! He can be rather possessive of food, toys and people so he should be the only animal. Quick and loud movements are very scary so children 12+ would  be recommended. He does love to play with other dogs but he does NOT share nicely! Mowgli knows several commands - sit, down, off, go pee . He is also very eager to learn more as long as he LOVES treats.
