Please welcome Addie who was brought to safety by a couple of angels all the way from Saudi Arabia. As you can see, this girl is SPECIAL! Addie is approximately 5 years old and 28 pounds. She is good with familiar dogs and older kids. Even though Addie had her hind limbs taken by an awful human and was dumped in the desert, she did not allow it to break her spirit. She has been through so much yet she doesn't look back and is so loving and gentle. Addie craves to be loved/petted and seeks out the nearest hand. Addie is happiest when she is making new human friends or sun bathing in the yard. She has an adorable howl for every occasion and will make you smile with her resilient way of doing things Addie style. She is truly an inspiration and magical! ***Addie will need long term diaper changes (around every 5 hours or so) but with some tricks from her foster family it is manageable. She has vision loss in her left eye but it doesn't slow her down! More photos coming soon.    Arlo is a dog meat trade survivor who came to us all the way from South Korea to join the ARF pack in search of his furever home.  Arlo is about 6 months young and weighs approximately 11 lbs. We believe his breed to be a Spaniel Mix. Arlo is super friendly and social. He is learning the basics. He loves balls, bones & toys.  He is treat motivated, which makes it easier to train.  We are assuming this is his first time playing with them. He would do well in any size home (apartment, condo, townhome, house) as long as he gets proper exercise. Arlo is great with other dogs. Arlo is ready to make some family very happy. PLEASE READ BIO BEFORE APPLYING Brooklyn was rescued from a shelter in San Bernardino.  Brooklyn (Brookie) is approximately 4 years old and weighs about 35 lbs.  Brookie is a semi feral dog.  We have had her a while and never posted her because she is amazing with other dogs and she is who we use to temp test dogs and we have just let her be.   We have worked with her off and on but just recently we started working with her more because we have had the time to focus on her and she is making great progress.  We can corner her in an area and can leash her.  She is doing great on the leash.  We can get her on the couch with a leash and she will relax and we can pet her.   She takes treats from our hand and follows us around.   She will jump up on the back of our legs for attention.  She is not a barker.  She wants the attention and love so bad but doesn’t know how to receive it.  She jumps up on the bed and she will nudge my hand and roll over for me to pet her belly.  We are looking for an adopter for her that will take the time to work with her.  Brooklyn is a very special girl to us. She would do best in a home with at least one other dog and a yard.   He best furfriend is Molly who is also available for adoption.  Brooklyn is ready to make some family very happy. Chopper was a stray pup who was very thin and needed vet care.  He had no owner that came forward for him so lucky for us he is now an ARF dog. Chopper is approximately 5 months young and weighs about 35 lbs.  He is a German Shepherd Mix and you can't miss his beautiful eyes!   He is learning the puppy basics and is doing very well on a leash.   He loves people and other dogs.  He is very smart and picks up on commands fairly quickly.  He would be a great hiking, running, errand buddy.  Chopper would do well as a family dog or in an active home.  He is super sweet and loves to cuddle as well.  Chopper is ready to make some family very happy. Molly was rescued from a shelter in San Bernardino.  Molly is approximately 4 years young and weighs about 45 lbs.  Molly is a semi feral.  We have had her a while and never posted her because she is amazing with other dogs and is very easy going.  Recently we have started working with her more because we have had the time to focus on her and she is making great progress.  We can corner her in an area and can leash her.  She is doing great on walks.  We can get her on the couch with a leash and she will relax and we can pet her.   She takes treats from our hand and follows us around.  She is not a barker. Navy was rescued from the shelter up in Bakersfield and he was labeled shy.  Navy is approimately 10 months young and weighs 57 lbs.  We believe he is is a Labrador Retriever Mix and fully grown.   Navy is doing well walking on a leash.  He is figuring out what dog toys and yummy bully sticks are. He is treat motivated which makes it easier for training. Hi, I'm Shasta! I am available for adoption through Angels of Rawley Foundation. My story needs to be told cause my puppy life started out rather rough. I was left at Riverside shelter with a broken back and my back end was basically paralyzed. I was evaluated as never being able to walk and go potty on my own. Well, because my will is so strong, I started walking on my own and was rescued by ARF. My fosters worked with me and got me strong enough to walk and even run. Through my xrays, the break in my back has healed nicely, but my spinal canal is still filling in. This is VERY important, because when this heals, I should be able to potty on my own. Right now, I wear diapers while I'm inside the house, and my bowels need expressed about every 5 hours. I am a Queensland Heeler, so I am a herding dog. That being said, i need to be watched around stragglers cause I tend to nip heels. I feel my best atmosphere would be no kids or older kids who can handle me and understand me better. I am very smart so maybe agility classes would be fun to learn new things. I need  someone to keep me in check and contain my SNUGGLES. I love toys and just need the right furever home so I can give them all of my love.
