About Freddy

Adoption Fee: $325

Yo-Yo-Yo - it's Freddy in the house! The chicks tell me i am a hunk, and I know it...but I won't let that get to my head. I have SO many fine qualities but here are the 2 best...1) I won't judge your singing voice 2) I don't care what you wear or if your hair or makeup is done. See, I can't hear or see...so I am pretty much perfect! Let's talk about ME - i know sit, down, walk on a leash, crate and house trained...remember I already told you I am perfect...just proving my point here! My foster mom is like SUPER protective of me, I would just come home with you today if you asked but she says no, everyone needs to fill out an app to meet me...I call bull on that...but she is the one with the opposable thumbs and she feeds me...so I guess fill out the app to meet me....pipsrescue.org/adopt

Hi! My name is Banjo and I’m looking for my forever family. Let me tell you a little bit about me, I’m about a year old, fixed, weigh 50lbs and I’m current on all my shots/vaccines. I got scooped up by PIPs and I’m learning lots about living in a house, but it’s all very new to me. I sleep in my crate at night & when my foster mom goes out. I love playing with my foster dog-brothers & get along with all the dogs I’ve met so far, but I’d probably do best in a house without a kitty or smaller dogs, unless supervised. I also love playing with the kids in my new neighborhood and giving them kisses, but I’m still a puppy and forget how much I’ve grown, so I’d love to have a new home with older kids. I have discovered that I enjoy chewing on nylabones & snuggling on the couch with my foster mom. You should also know that I have brindle coloring, everyone who meets me is shocked at how soft my fur is. While I do have heartworm, but I’m being treated for it & PIPs will cover the cost of all my treatments. If you have more questions about this, feel free to ask! I’ve mastered “sit” and am improving my leash walking skills every day. I’m food motivated and hope you’ll teach me some more tricks. Do I sound like a good fit for your house? If so, please fill out an application and come meet me. I can’t wait to meet you. Love, Banjo show less

Meet Stone, this adorable goofy and loving boy is now up for adoption. He has a condition called megaesophagus, basically the muscles in his esophagus do not work right and he sits in a special chair to eat so gravity helps the food go to his stomach. He came to PIPs several months ago after being turned into a shelter for having this disease. We have spent this time getting him heathy and on the right track. He is eating well and gaining weight  so this boy is ready to find his furever family. Stone is not defined by his Mega-E, he is a very smart dane (or dane mix) who loves other dogs, all people, is crate and house trained and walks well on a leash. He loves to play and snuggle and has just the best personality! His ideal home would be one who  doesn’t have small kids – those tiny hands usually have snacks in them and snack for Stone without being in his chair is a no-no! He would be great with older children who understand not to feed him. He does love other dogs, but would be ok as a single dog or a dog in a pack – he is pretty easy going. Stone will come with his Baily’s chair so no need to invest in one. He knows his routine and he is pretty simple to take care of. We know you have lots of questions about him and his condition and we are here to answer them. The foster is also here to be a support system post adoptions! You won’t be alone on this journey and you won’t regret adopting a Mega-E pup! Please apply at pipsrescue.org or if you have specific questions you can email Nicole.k@pipsrescue.org show less
