About Roxy

Adoption Fee: $350.00

Roxy is a 4-year-old, 67 lb Labrador Retriever/Akita mix. She is a sweet girl who enjoys attention and giving kisses, but also has an independent side. She is a strong girl and we feel she would do best in a home with kids over the age of 12 or adults-only.  We have discovered she can be dog selective, therefore she would probably do best in a home as the only dog. Roxy knows basic commands and enjoys hiking in the woods. Watching her fluffy, curly tail wag when she is happy will brighten your day.

PAW places animals in the Washington, DC/Baltimore Metropolitan area only.

********ADOPTED******** Cleo is a lovely 8yr old toy mix which means she needs A watchful eye for when she goes up and down on the sofa and will definitely need doggie steps (no jumping for her!). She loves to cuddle and prefers not to be held or picked up unnecessarily. She will come for scratches and cuddles when she spots you on the sofa. She would like to spend her golden years in a house where someone can provide many cuddles, teach her new tricks, and can keep up with her grooming. Foster Mom has been brushing her fur every other day to avoid any matting, Cleo likes it! although when the brush touches her paws she rather take a break. Cleo also would like for her new home to have a nice yard so she can take as many potty breaks as possible. Because Foster mom is working from home, Cleo gets 1 small walk and plenty of time in the yard for potty breaks.  She is on a 2 small meal daily schedule, which helps her time her potty breaks (she does NOT use a peed pad nor is trained to use one). Cleo could be an only dog if her human has plenty of time to teach her new tricks and enjoys lots of play and cuddle time. She could also enjoy the company of a doggie sibling she could play with! Cleo is looking for that home that will give her structure & schedule, boundaries, plenty of exercise and affection - what every dog wants in life! SPECIAL NEEDS:  We have discovered that Cleo has IVDD, however she is not showing any she does not show any signs, but may have occasional flair ups.   PAW places animals in the Washington, DC/Baltimore Metropolitan area only. show less

At 3 months old, this precious, bonded, brother and sister combo is the perfect blend of personality traits. With practically identical tabby markings in the softest hues of beige and gray – these two certainly make a very unique duo! Sally is a bit bigger than her brother Franklin and also the more outgoing sibling. Franklin is sweet, sensitive, and slightly cautious. Franklin adores his brave sister and often waits for Sally to investigate things to let him know it’s all okay. Sally is very affectionate and purrs loudly while constantly seeking attention and cuddles. Though always nearby his sister for comfort, Franklin studies everything carefully and may take a bit more time to warm up. Once Franklin trusts his surroundings though, he loves to have his head scratched and his soft fur brushed. Franklin and Sally are neutered and spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and tested negative for both FIV and FELV. If you have room in your heart and your home for this adorable brother, sister kitten combo, please complete PAW’s Cat Adoption Application at www.paw-rescue.org/adopt and we will be in touch with you soon! Due to the COVID pandemic, once adoption applications have been approved, we are conducting ‘Meet and Greets’ virtually via Zoom, Facetime or another video conferencing platform. Since adopters are unable to meet the kitties in person, PAW is honoring a 2-week trial adoption to ensure the match you’ve made is perfect!
