About Ripley and Lucas

Adoption Fee: $600.00

Are you looking for a pair of 1 year old pitties? Sometimes all you need is a pair to make a full house! Meet Lucas (white male) and Ripley (tan and white female) From Lucas and Ripley-please consider letting us be part of your family. We don't know why we have been returned as we are eager to please and love our humans. We know we have our faults but we think if our human reinforces our training and is consistent we will do better as we have forgotten a little throughout our travels but our foster mom is reminding us what we already know. So far we remember sit, down and place. Stay and come seem familiar but with the excitement of the new digs we don't always get that right yet. We think there is more in our block heads somewhere. Please give us a chance. These kids were adopted together at a young age and were returned by a heart broken owner as her situation had changed and for the betterment of the puppies had to let them go. While she had them, they were professionally trained as Lucas is partially deaf and has learned the ropes from Ripley so they are a bonded pair. They are house trained, both love people big and small and good with dogs that are their size with proper introductions. They DO NOT do well with small animals. Please consider these kids, they are very sweet.

Cookie is a catahoula mix, her and her littermates were dumped near a farm waaaaayyyy out in the country in Texas. A near by farmer spotted them and he and his wife had to catch them, they were so scared! They are still a little shy but have come a long ways on trusting! She loves treats!  She was very shy when she  came to us, but she's been getting more confident. She plays with foster siblings and gets the butt scooting zoomies at night! She’s very timid and sweet and she loves her people once she's bonded with them. Cookie she’s 11 weeks old or so. She’s super sweet and loves her people! She gets along with cats and dogs as well. Cookie can be shy at first with new people but she loves to be with people and play around and go on walks! Shes amazing on a leash, she is a very good car riding buddy too. She has some kennel anxiety but does great if another dog is in the kennel with her! Cookie is very layed back, she does play and have energy too of course but most of the time she loves to chill out and stay next to her person. She’s almost all the way potty trained she’s a beautiful, sweet girl and once she has her person, she’s very loyal. All she wants is love.  She’s very beautiful and photogenic for sure. When she gets excited she does these little howls and it’s adorable! She’s very loving. She isn’t really sure what to do with dog toys but her foster brother, a German shepherd, is trying to teach her, it's so cute! She does like tennis balls though! She's doing really well on a leash, but can get spooked pretty easily. If you would like to meet this fantastic girl, fill out an application today! show less
