About Lily
Meet Lily! She is a cute 14-month-old female yellow Labrador Retriever mix who is a sweet, loving, and energetic puppy. Lily is playful and fun and loves being around other dogs. She loves to have lots of toys and is still trying to figure out how to fit more than one ball in her mouth at the same time!
Lily's new owners need to be careful not to leave food or any other goodies on the counter as Lily has a good nose for treats and would be an excellent counter surfer. All food, medicine, and other items should be removed from the counters at all times.
Lily likes to go on long walks and is doing great on a gentle-leader leash. Lily is a good sleeper and, while she would prefer to share the bed with her foster mom and dad, she sleeps through the night on her bed on the floor next to her fosters. Lily would benefit from being kept in a crate if you need to go out, so she is safe. She's smart, knows basic commands, and is house-broken.
Lily has tons of energy. While she is intelligent and a good listener, she is a puppy who requires a lot of attention and supervision. Lily will do best with another playful companion near her age or older, similar in a desire to play. She has not been around small children, can be a little jumpy, which may scare small children. For this reason, we will not place Lily in a home with children under the age of 8 yrs old. Lily likes to play but also enjoys hanging with her humans.
Lily has been spayed, she is up to date on her vaccines and microchipped.
