Hello,  My name is Agnes.  I am a beautiful woman that likes to play hard to get.  I don't just go with the first young thing to come along.  I am looking for a long lasting relationship with a couple that has patience and allows me the time to get to know them, and adjust to the new life.  Once I get to know you, I will love you forever. Agnes 😍 this girl is all things gorgeous and on the search for a forever home that will make her their own. She has wonderful house manners and knows how to keep her kennel tidy. She is very playful and affectionate and enjoys playing in the yard with toys. She needs a family that will allow her time to adjust slowly she has come leaps and bounds trusting humans through day to day interactions and would love a family able to continue showing her the way. We love Agnes and know you will too.  Agnes is best as an only dog or someone that has the paitence and experience to slowly intregrate.     Agnes is available for adoption through Sauver Des Chiens German Shepherd Dog Rescue.  Photos by the wonderfully talented Kelly Garvey Photography Trust, is what I lost when I was dumped and sent to a cold cruel shelter.  I had babies at the shelter and was so scared and alone.  That is when Sauver Des Chiens took me in.  All of my babies were adopted to good homes, but no one wanted me.  I had a little behavioral issue, being left behind.  Sauver Des Chiens sent me to work with Alex to help me overcome this.  I am much better now, but still take time to trust.  I need an adopter that understands that.  So if that is you, I can have my bags packed at the drop of a hat. Hi! I'm Bella the Believer, and here is my journey so far... My new friends at Sauver Des Chiens (SDC) received a call from a kind lady that got my number from Rosenberg Animal Control. The lady was crying and begging for help. She was so sad and upset because you see, my owner just passed away, and she took me in when no one else in the family could care for me. Unfortunately, she lived in apartments, and I can't go up and down stairs. 😔 Sauver Des Chiens knew they had to help. They have a soft spot for older gals like me! So now, I'm with my new foster momma, Brooke! I'm about 7 years old, and the doctor says that I have hip problems. The doctor wants me on a diet ASAP to see if that helps my mobility... so my journey as an SDC pupper has begun. Where did the name Bella the Believer come from? I am not giving up, and if YOU all Believe I can get better, then, perhaps I can! show less

Berlin is a young one. He was born 7/1/20 and owner surrendered to us this year. He is Vaccinated, Neutered and HW Neg. He must be properly introduced and is dog selective, but still a kid so can be trained. He is a love bug. Would recommend no small children or cats because of his energy. He needs a running buddy. show less

Dex, here. A little of my background. The City of Jasper (Texas) Animal Control picked me up after a recent hurricane, where I was living. I had been tied to a tree, outside, my entire young life. SDC knew I'd do great with them, and I became an SDC pup 11/14/20. I am a male, neutered GSD. Current on all my shots, and have had heartworm treatments. I feel great, now! I'm a bit shy at first, so my foster mom and dad made sure to slowly introduce me and their pups. We have so much fun playing! I enjoy my human(s), love, snuggles, playing, snuggles, yep said it twice! My ideal home will help continue my training, proper introduction to other dogs, and have plenty of snuggles! Hey there – Whatca doin? Wanna Play? I’m Ivy. I am just a baby still, and I love to play and run zoomies, and be petted – I love petting so much, I will drop and give you my belly to rub. They call me Ivy, but they also call me, a bundle of love and energy. I think it is a good thing. A little thing about me is that I have M.E. I don’t know the actual name of it, but basically, my food pipe doesn’t quite work right on its own, so I get my food chopped up in a blender, and a special upright chair to eat it. I rock it too! I have finally come to understand that when the blender starts, it means FOOD!! I now go to my chair, and will back into on my own; All you have to do is put the arm down and give me my chow. I even sit still for the 20 minutes after eating to let all the food settle in my tummy. I am finally starting to gain some weight! Thanks to all these people at SDC that take such good care of me. I would really love to find a forever family that wouldn’t mind blending up my food a few times a day. I promise to be patient as you learn how to mix it. In return I vow to shower you with kisses, cuddles and endless games of fetch and chase. I am loyal to death. Can YOU see past my M.E. and see how awesome I am? Hope to meet you soon…. Laura - named after the 2020 Hurricane Laura that hit Louisiana.  She is from Louisiana...a little cajun.  Laura is about 2 years old, beautiful light colored German Shepherd Dog.  She is up to date on vaccines, has been spayed and is Heartworm Positive.  She is currently on the program to have Heart Worm Treatment end of December or early January.  Rescue covers expenses for that. She is a very sweet dog.  Easy going, good with other dogs, good with children, unsure of cats.  She would be good in a home with youngsters as well as a quiet home.   Due to her positive Heart Worm Status, she is available for Local Adoption only at this time.  Houston Metro show less
