About Benito (aka Benny the chi)
Hi! I am Benito but my foster mom calls me Benny for short. I love to bathe myself and others. I would do best with a submissive dog. I am curious about the cat but I leave it alone, which does not mean I wouldn't chase your cat for a fun game of chase. My foster mom does not have kids to test me with but due to my breed, age and size I would like a home either without small kids or older ones who know how to treat a petite mister. I'm about 3 years old and about 15lb, which means I'll stay small forever. I've finally arrived in New England and here is what my new foster mommy says:
"Benito is a very affectionate little guy! He loves cuddling with his humans on the sofa while watching Netflix. He is working on his potty training outside but will always use potty training pads while inside. He is a very quiet little guy and only barked once while he was watching the puppy bowl on tv-I think he wanted to join in😊He definitely prefers being in the warm house this time of year however, as you can see from one of the pics he doesn’t mind the snow. He walks right into the snow and sniffs around when I take him outside. Neither of us like spending lots of time outside in the cold. Benito loves everyone he meets and greets them with a wagging tail and wiggling body! He loves his dog bed and lots of blankets. "
Please note: We do not have a physical facility and the dogs are not located in Hudson, NH. We are a foster-based rescue and dogs can be located anywhere in New England. All adopters must be pre-approved to arrange a meet and greet, and the adopter is expected to travel to the dog's location. We do not transport once the dogs arrive in New England. Applications must be submitted at HarveysHope.org for consideration. We estimate it will be 1-2 weeks before you hear from one of our volunteers. Thank you!
