This means that I have worked so hard to be my best self--I knows commands like "place", "stay", "heel", "sit", and "down." I have worked on my socialization with other dogs and people as well and I have done amazing. With your continued trianing and support I can continue to be the best dog. This training program is awesome because I also come with a training booklet to educate you on what I know to keep up with my training. They also offer training refresher courses to help you if I need extra support!      If you’re looking for a smart, silly and extremely loyal dog, Amber Red is your girl. Her birthday 1/31/2020. She is a female Doberman mix who is potty trained, leash trained and crate trained. She just returned from prison training in which she learned that she doesn’t have to resource guard her people from strangers and new dogs; she is doing great but in order to set her up for success, she still needs very slow and controlled introductions to new people and dogs. Amber Reds’s foster home has 3 dogs and cat and she adores them all. She LOVES playing with toys (independently or with her human), walks and cuddles. Sierras ideal home would be a mellow house with active grown ups. Amber Red has been let down a lot in the past so she NEEDS someone who’s going to continuously work with her to gain her trust and show her she can be a silly, lovable, and spoiled dog all at the same time.  show less

I can get scared by new things so sometimes need reassurance that everything is ok. I'm making great progress on potty training and sleep all the way through the night in a room with my 9 other siblings. I love other dogs! I've never met a cat or a kid, but I bet they'd be really nice. I'm usually pretty good about not nibbling on people, but sometimes I just get too excited and need to be reminded that people aren't chew toys. I'm really excited to find my forever! She is a goofy gal who loves to explore her surroundings, gambol through the grass and get some great tummy rubs.  Aspen is just about fully housebroken, crate trained, and sleeps through the nights. She needs a home without cats. She also needs to be fed separately (in her kennel) from other dogs. The great outdoors beckons to her, so a big yard and a new buddy are necessary. show less

Atticus “Atti” is a wonderful dog.  He had a rough start and was skin and bones prior to being rescued.  He has gained the healthy weight and is a happy pup.  He is potty trained, crate trained and loves his bones and toys.  He is a more relaxed shepherd who enjoys being with people.  He loves food.  He is not prey driven.  He needs a buddy to burn off his high energy.  He is independent.  He is learning to fetch but honestly, he just likes his squeaky toys.  He is ok with doing nothing or doing something.  He would lay down next to you while you are working.  He knows, sit, leave it, stay, lay down, no, get down, sshhhh or quiet, paw, and waits patiently for his food.  He is not a barker but in uncertain situations he would whine or bark due to being anxious.  He does bark/speaks on command.   He is good on leash and sits still to get his collar and leash on.  He is great with kids, adults, other animals but unsure about cats.  Could you be his forever friend?       show less

I am all Lady.  I was born around 11/20/2021. I am fixed and UTD on shots.  I love everyone and get along with everyone.  I love being with my human, its my favorite thing in the world. I will get up on my hind legs to be picked up, especially to let you know I have done my business (outside).  I am kennel trained, and will be okay while you are gone, but I don’t like being in there if I know you are in the house somewhere. I am a Chihuahua mix, but I don’t bark a lot at all.  I am house broken and love to be held by you. My favorite thing is to curl up by you when you are chilling.  I am thin skinned so I would LOVE winter sweaters and booties when I go outside. The dry air in CO is a little hard on me right now, so my foster mom has been running the humidifier for me all day and night, which helps me a ton!  show less

I get along really well with other dogs and children, especially older kids I can play with. I haven’t been around cats, but I don’t think I would like them. I have a fairly strong prey instinct, and I chase squirrels any time I see them.  I get a little food possessive during feeding times if other dogs are around me. I am very gentle with my humans and have never growled or nipped when they touch my food. I am a social boy, so I do not require slow introductions to other dogs or people. I am fully potty trained. I am a very smart, and strong boy so I am quick to figure out how to get out of kennels. I like to play with toys and I enjoy chewing on bones. I am a cuddle bug! I will happily snuggle with my humans when we nap and at bedtime. My ideal home is with a family that is willing to take time to train me, and with a family that is ready to give me lots of attention and affection. I need a single family home with a fenced in yard! I need a home with another dog in it!           Bolo is a female St. Bernard x, born around 7/2/2021. She weighs about 75 lbs. She loves other dogs and does great with my 7 year old St. Bernard. Bolo was nervous at first when she met our other dog, so we decided to give her 3 days to decompress in her crate (a safe place) and slowly introduced her to our dog over time. This would be best for Bolo to succeed. She does need a home with another young, playful dog.         Bolo is super social with people. She likes to run up to people and jump up on them, so we are working on this with her. If you have kids, you need to keep this in mind since she does jump up and will knock over children until she's properly trained. We recommend a home with older kids. Cuddling is one of her favorite things--she loves to be pet (and wants to be pet constantly). She also thinks she's a lap dog! She will also try to sleep in your bed with you.         Bolo is potty trained and will stand by the door and whine when she needs to go out. We only had one accident when we left her at home for a longer period of time. We let her out about every 2 hours during the day, as well as before bed and first thing in the morning. She does sleep through the night, but may need to potty after about 6 hours. She eats 3 x a day. Due to her long, beautiful hair, she does need brushing.          She is leash trained and walks well on a leash with a no-pull harness. She knows how to sit on command. She is smart, but can be stubborn! She is easily redirectable, though. She does like to try to dart out the door sometimes because she's curious, so you definitely need to be careful about keeping the front door blocked off from her if you open it. Bolo gets nervous about loud noises, so when you're on a walk with her if there is a loud noise, she may try to run away from it. So you need to have a tight grip on the leash. She also doesn't like to be in the kennel. She has some barrier issues, and doesn't like when dogs are behind fences either.         She is a very social dog and needs to be next to you at all times. She is a huge love bug and loves being loved on. She doesn't know what toys are yet and is selective on dog treats. She likes to chew, so definitely needs some chew toys (she loves beef bones). She's young and has puppy-like behaviors and is full of energy. I am not sure she ever lived inside a home before, so we are working on appropriate behaviors and interactions. She needs a family that will love her and spend lots of time with her. They also need to spend time training her. She needs a yard to run in daily or daily walks, or a very active household. If there are kids in the home, they need to be older children that can redirect her jumping onto people, but she is smart and redirectable.  show less
