About Abe Lincoln

Fun, positive and energetic personal trainer seeking life-long client.

Lincoln is the quintessential fitness buff who makes everyone feel happier and healthier just by being near him. He is actively looking for a home where he can help create customized workouts for his family on a daily basis. Looking for a partner to join you on your early morning run? How about a hiking buddy who won’t poop out in the parking lot before you even get to the trailhead? Lincoln will be by your side the whole way, and he’ll also be polite enough to say hello to anyone else who might be on the trail. He may be fit but he’s certainly not pretentious! Here’s Lincoln to tell you a bit more.

That’s me, Lincoln, here to say hello! I’m a two-year-old super dog! I’m one of Ho-Bo Care’s most eclectic mix of dog breeds, hence the super dog designation. How many dogs do you know that have Boxer and Chihuahua, and seemingly everything in between, in their mix? Alright, you probably already guessed the Chihuahua. Just kidding! I love a good joke.

As my personal ad mentions, I just love to be on the go! I’m friendly and confident enough to go just about anywhere. Ball games, busy trails and breweries are just a few of the places I’ve been. I’m great with other dogs- big and small. If you have a dog in your house that could use a workout buddy, there’s a great chance I’m the dog for the job!

Like all great fitness enthusiasts, I understand exercising my mind is just as important as physical exercise. My sit and shake techniques (to name two of my skills) are nearly flawless, and I love a good brain game. I also understand the importance of decompressing and taking it easy. There’s nothing better than an active day followed by a cozy, and hopefully snuggly, snooze on the couch. If I sound like the right guy for you, please reach out to hobocare.org and ask to meet me!

Hi, my name is Ava, but my foster parents call me “little miss wild child”, as I have LOTS and LOTS of non-stop, happy go lucky energy.  I am approximately 7 months old, your typical young boxer, I will follow you everywhere, love to play with all kinds of toys to keep me busy, but my favorite are balls, guess what I love to play fetch and will bring it back to you to throw again and again and again!  I am looking for a home that has a fenced in yard, as I just love to run and play.  No apartments for me please, I would be sad if my new home didn’t have a fenced in yard to play in.  I get along excellent with other dogs and love to play “boxer style play” with my foster siblings and I would love a home with other bigger dogs to play with would be excellent.  I am housetrained, don’t mind the kennel, and walk well on a leash, but remember I am still a puppy so could use more training as I do get excited sometimes and want to pull a bit to check things out.  I have been around kids, and I don’t mind them either, just more fun and playtime for me with them.  I would love a family that has time and patience for training as I love to learn new things and I am very smart, but remember I am a boxer, so I can be stubborn sometimes as well (hahaha), but I have mastered some basic manners and commands already.    If you and your family are ready for a happy go lucky, young, crazy, and athletic boxer girl, fill out an application, I would love to meet you! ********PLEASE READ BELOW PRIOR TO EMAILING IN********** If you are interested in adopting this dog or any other from our rescue, please go to https://www.hobocare.org/adopt to review our home requirements and fill out an application. Do you like long walks and cuddling?  If so, then look no further.  Hi,  I'm Buster and I'm so excited to meet you. I'm 6 years old and love my humans so much. I enjoy long walks, a good bone, and cuddling. I'd love to be the center of your world and be with you all the time but if I have to be left alone, rest assured that I'm very well behaved. I'm house-trained and non-destructive. I walk well on a leash but sometimes you have to remind me not to pull when I get excited - squirrel! I know my manners and I can wait patiently for my food. I'm a pro at my obedience cues and already know how to sit, lay down, stop, leave it, and wait. I'm very smart and love to learn and will do anything to get treats! I've got the perfect blend of mellow and active energy. I'm happy to be chill with my family, but am no stranger to a long hike or game of tug in the backyard! My dream forever home is cat-free and adults only. I'm friendly with most other dogs but have been known to invite myself over to my friend's houses unexpectedly, so a 6ft fence is a must! Please come and meet me, I have so much love to share!  ********PLEASE READ BELOW PRIOR TO EMAILING IN********** If you are interested in adopting this dog or any other from our rescue, please go to https://www.hobocare.org/adopt to review our home requirements and fill out an application. Who's a good boy? It’s me, Chieftain! I am a 2-year-old pitbull mix looking for a fun-loving family to call my own.  I am a boy that loves to be outside. I love going on walks and playing in the backyard.  I love meeting new people but I don’t like to go out to busy places. I would rather stay home and lounge on the couch and chew on my bones until you return home. When you return I will be happy to get all the love and attention.     I’m such a smart boy and I LOVE training! I’ve been working hard on my training. I know my basic commands/cues: come, sit, stay, heel, leave it, off, and go nite-nite, to name a few. I love learning new tricks, especially for treats. It’s hard being a rock star!! I have not had an accident in my foster home, I whine at the door when I need to go out.   I am crate trained and will go in there to eat and will also go in there when you leave the house. I will sleep in my own bed at night, but would also love to sleep in bed with my new family if that is allowed.   I have got lots of energy and get very excited with kids. Younger kids rile me up and I forget how to act around them so I’m looking for a home without young children.  No cats or small creatures as I am very interested in them and would love to chase them.  I have lived with other dogs but can get too rowdy especially when I have my attention on squirrels and birds, so I would be better in a home as an only dog.  I would love to go to a home with someone who will continue to work on my training and help me grow up to become the best version of myself.  Chieftain is waiting to see if you are his match, if that is you apply to meet him and you won’t be disappointed. ********PLEASE READ BELOW PRIOR TO EMAILING IN********** If you are interested in adopting this dog or any other from our rescue, please go to https://www.hobocare.org/adopt to review our home requirements and fill out an application.
