About Whisper

Adoption Fee: $125

I would like to be the only animal in the home. I am a torbi! I'm also declawed. I must be kept indoors!

Whisper aka Autumn is an independent lady. She loves to be around her people supervising all aspects of their day. She enjoys being petted but only on her terms. However, she will snuggle next to you on the couch or in bed very nicely. Her eyes get bright and excited whenever a wand toy with feathers or ribbons appears and she loves to play. She is a dainty eater who grazes throughout the day and prefers dry food. She uses her litterbox like a champ. She loves to look out windows. Autumn does well in her carrier in the car.

Autumn is not a traveler however. Hotel rooms stress her out. She loves my cat sitter and does fine when I leave as long as she gets to stay in her house. She would do best with adults or a family with older children who will respect her boundaries. She has been declawed on all 4 paws and needs to be an indoor cat.

Maggie Bloom is a sweet, goofy, and playful 1.5 y/o pup wrapped up in a tiny package! She’s good with dogs, cats, and kids. She’s also crate-trained and happily goes right in when told. She doesn't resource guard or have food aggression so she is the perfect playmate! She has plenty of energy and benefits greatly from fun activities like fetch, doggie playtime, and chew toys. She can be fearful of new humans so she needs someone who will continue helping her build confidence. She shows her fear by sticking to the side of her chosen person or hiding. She’d LOVE to have another dog-loving pup in the home to play with to help her understand she can trust people, and to play with! She's very much a velcro dog and loves loving up on her people and other dogs. She prefers women but can accept men who allow her to become comfortable very slowly. Once she trusts you, she's yours forever. She sees a behaviorist for her anti-anxiety medication, and Mother Gaia will cover the cost of one appointment with the veterinary behaviorist. More fun facts about Maggie Bloom: She loves apples and blueberries! She really likes fetch. She loves playing with other dogs. She does great on car rides. She’s super goofy. She loves walks. She’s very proficient in zoomies and is an expert in butt wiggles! She is so ready and deserving of her forever home!  show less

Jaws: just when you thought it was safe to adopt a kitten.... this little 12 week guy was found by himself in Texas needing surgery on his mouth. The shellter fixed his jaw and named him Jaws. But he lives up to the name in personality as well because he loves food. Now Jaws loves a lot of other things too -- people, food, other cats, food, playing, food, climbing, food, chasing toys, food, dogs, food, cuddling, food, and did we mention food? He also captures everyone's heart with his big, active personality. He is the first kitten to greet you when you come through the door and by greet you, we mean climb your entire leg to sit on your shoulder and meow at you to insist on pets. He's the first to jump into any game. And he's the first to jump into his dinner bowl too. We don't tell the other kittens that he is everyone's favorite but he definitely knows that he is.  Jaws promises a life of fun, lots of purrs and cuddles, and being bossed around by a tiny tabby terror who doesn't like water. Because of his young age, he needs to be adopted with another kitten or to a house with another young cat per the Kitten Policy. But he would fit in with almost any other animal, including other cats, dogs, older children, noise, and an active household. He is ready for a lifetime of adventure, starting by being found in a Texas park needing urgent medical care and someone to love him for who he is.  Jaws is neutered, comes with age appropriate vaccines, and microchipped. Due to his jaw surgery, he needs to eat a wet food only diet. His adoption fee is $250.  show less

Tater came to a shelter in Texas missing her right eye. Fortunately, they were able to get her surgery so that she is ready for adoption. While we may never know what happened to this little sweet girl, it is hard to imagine what she went through, especailly because she is just about the sweetest cat you will ever meet. Her number one goal in life is to get pets and cuddle with you. She loves people. She is unbothered by other cats or dogs, especially if they stay out of your lap and allow her to get all the attention. In trying to describe Tater to potential adopters, it is really hard to capture just how sweet and loving she is. One could imagine that Guns and Roses wrote Sweet Child o' Mine after meeting her or Keith Urban wrote Sweet Thing for her or Harry Styles sang Sweet Creature in her honor.  Because she has only one eye, Tater has some special needs and requires the right home. She does not have any depth perception and cannot be dropped. She will also climb up towers or other high places only to find herself stuck and unable to get down without assistance. She sometimes seems to have difficulty with judging her balance as well. But hopefully all of these challenges will get easier for her as she gets older and grows accustom to her limitations and her new home. Still, she requires the right adoptor who will understand her needs and work with accomodating her as necessary.  Tater is approximately 5-6 months old and will be on the petite size as a full grown cat. She still has some kitten playfulness. She is spay, microchipped, and comes with all age appropriate vaccines. Her adoption fee is $250.  show less
