Asher is a fun and loving 3 year old male Dogo Argentino. He is almost competely deaf (only hears high pitch sounds). He does know some hand signal commands. Asher has a lot of energy and would do well with a female dog that has the same energy level. He loves a good romp around the yard and his favorite past time is sunbathing and playing frisbee. He's not a big fan of car rides as he does get a little sick but anti nausea medicine helps tremendously. He should go to a home with no small children since he is a big boy and doesn't realize his size. Asher is located in Pensecola FL. show less

Hiiiii! My name is Chaplin aka Chappy! I am a 2 year old Dogo Argentino that is looking to find my forever home! I’m a big goofball and still working on my manners. It would be best for my new family to continue training with a professional as I’m really silly and kind of a clown. I recently completed my heart worm treatment and now slowly I am getting exposed to more things. I seem to be interested in cats but a proper introduction may be best. I am around other dogs but seem to do better with lady dogs. I’m working on my introductions with people as I’m kind of judgey.. some people I just love right away others I need to be around you for a little bit. I’m not aggressive just vocalize my opinion. I seem to warm up to woman quickly but some men I want to get to know more over a little bit of time. I am an awesome eater and do not turn down my food or snacks. I am a giant love bug and looking for someone who likes to be active but also spends time as a homebody. If you’re not looking to adopt, please share me so my new family can find me! My perfect home would have a big fenced in yard for me to play in, and no kids under 10 years old - I'm just too clumsy and I wouldn't want to knock anyone down! show less

  Meet Cinna! He is currently living in Florida and has proven to be a wonderful young male dogo!  Cinna is a quick learner and very eager to please, even though sometimes he has typical dogo stubborness at times. We think Cinna is about 2-3 years old but we do know that he is absolutely STUNNING!   His photos may show some wounds but they are all bacterial infections that are fully healing.  Currently he is 96lbs and has another 10+ lbs to gain to be at a healthy weight for his size.  Every day we see improvements with Cinna and his training to learn all the new boundaries to be a good dogo.  He loves people but be ready because he's a kisser and hugger! We know that he is friendly with other female dogs but haven't had the chance to test with males just yet, but we would prefer a no male dog home for Cinna considering his confidence and size. He recently discoverd that he like to swim in the pond and loves to run around and play chase with other female dogs.  He is a flirt with the girls!  Regading kids and cats, we don't have a way to test so we prefer a home with grown ups and possibly older children. Cinna is textbook dogo when it comes to attitude and demeanor so we recommend him going to an experienced dog home, preferrable one who has dogo or similar experience to keep him on the right track. We don't know how he is in a home and he will most likely need to be house trained, but we do think he will train very well. He is going to make a wonderful companion to whomever is chosen to be his new parent. Cinna is great in the car and clearly enjoys going places and seeing what is going on.  He truly is simply wonderful! Dogos are a wonderful breed but we urge anyone interested to dig in and do a lot of research before deciding if they are a good fit for your home. They require a lot of attention and training with them never ends!  Boundaries must be enforced and they often need reminders as they push past boundaires you set! Dogos are loving, kind and gentle but don't mistake that for weakness because they are equally powerful and intense as well! Everyone in the home must be on board with having a dogo and play a major role in their daily routines and training. Yes it is work, but the rewards are ten-fold! Lazy homes don't work for dogos as they need stimulation, exercise, and lots of attention too during their younger years.  Our goal in rescue is to be as transparent as we can about each and every dog plus make sure new families really understand the needs of a dogo!   show less

Dash is a fun and energetic boy. He is approx 3 years old. Dash just finished his Heartworm treatment and is now ready for his furever home. He needs an experienced person who will work on his obedience training as he will test his boundries. He would do well in an active home where he can exert his energy which in turn makes him a happy boy. He is good with other dogs but would do best as the only male dog in the home. Meet Effie!! She is a young female dogo currently in Florida with lots of energy and kisses to give. Effie is about 3-4 years old and appears to have possibly been a mama dog in the past. Mamas always tend to steal our hearts as they are extra loving and nurturing! She is learning commands quickly and eager to please as she is learning new boundaries.  Effie loves to run around in the yard with Prim and we have not introduced her to other dogs just yet. She is a confident girl so a home with a friendly dog would be good for her.  We don't know how she is with kids or cats so we prefer a home with grown ups and possibly older children.  Effie is a really good girl and very textbook female dogo in terms of being loving, happy, strong, and confident!  She does well in the car and was good at the vet too! We do not know if she is house trained but certain that she will learn quick. Effie does very well in a kennel and on a leash from what we have seen so far.  Effie had several skin infections that may be seen in some of her pictures but she is recovering and doing well.  She does have a scar on her head that we are not sure of, possibly an old skin infection that was not treated in time. However, she really is just perfect! Dogos are a wonderful breed but we urge anyone interested to dig in and do a lot of research before deciding if they are a good fit for your home. Our sweet deaf baby Emmy is 12 weeks old and ready to find her forever family! Originally dumped in AC with her equally deaf littermate, we saved Emmy at 6 weeks old and nursed her back to health! Emmy is now a healthy 12 week old sweetheart and doing amazing. Emmy is energetic, playful and extremely loving. Her furever home will need either deaf dog experience or experience with the breed, a fenced in yard and at least one older sibling preferably male. Located in Atlanta, GA, but can be transported to the right home.   show less

Evie is a very sweet and gentle girl. It appears she was just used for breeding and probably dumped after thehy were done with her. We are not certain how she is with other dogs yet but so far she has not reacted to any dogs she has seen. We do not know how she is with children so a home with no small kids is required. Evie is heartworm positive so we will need a foster that is able to keep her quiet and limit her activity while she is going through heartworm treatment. Evie is located in Bradenton FL, but willing to travel for the right foster home. show less

Felix is a young male who we just rescued from a San Francisco, CA shelter.  He is currently living with his foster family in Southern California, and we are learning more about him. We think Felix is around one year old. He has lots of energy and loves playing with toys! He is goofy and loveable! Felix is looking for a home that is patient, loving, and willing to help him learn manners and basic training.  He can be a little skiddish at first with strangers (especially men) and needs slow introductions to warm up to you. His new family should not have cats, but he may be ok with a female dog if the family is experienced and willing to separate and do slow and propper introductions.  show less

🌸 Gracie is new to the rescue and we had no choice but to move her straight to boarding from the shelter to save her life. She's a really sweet and fun girl with people, not so much with other pets! Gracie needs to start Heartworm Treatment in a couple weeks and needs a home to do this so she can get comfortable and relax.  She's currently in Cochran, GA but transport can be arranged! show less

Ivy is a spunky young lady with lots of love to give. She is currently being fostered near Pittsburg and is adjusting well to her new surroundings. Ivy recently came to us after being dumped by her breeder because she could no longer make him money. We want ivy to know that she deserves better and are currently seeking a loving home for her. Ivy is fun and playful and has lots of energy to burn. She does well with other dogs and possibly cats with proper introductions. She likes her pool, her toys and zooming around the yard. She can be a little shy and timid in new situations but with love and patience, her confidence is growing. We will update as we learn more about her. show less
