About Opal

Adoption Fee: $175.00

Hi. Can I be your one and only??

My name is Opal and I am a female Rottweiler blend born on May 7, 2016. I came to Bridges to Home and with my 10 puppies. I was a terrific mom and all my puppies are grown. Now I'm ready to find my furever home. I am well house trained and will let you know when I need to go out. I love just being around my people and being a couch potato. I need to be the only dog in a home; no other pets, please. I'm very attached to my humans, but I need to live with adult humans. I do suffer from anxiety and so I need to be crated if you leave the house. I have learned how to be an escape artist, so make sure you keep an eye on me when I'm outside. It might take some time before you can leave me alone, inside, but I'll try my best. As you can see, it would be best for me to be with people who are home most of the time and with the patience and willingness to help me learn how to be the best furry friend. I am a loyal girl and with the right adopter, I will certainly be loyal to you! Training in your home will be provided.

Hello. My name is Buford and I am a male Terrier blend born on July 25, 2018 and I weigh about 10 lbs. Here is some background information on Buford: Buford came to us from Socorro shelter. He was so terrified, shelter staff could not handle him. Once we got him home it was evident he had been mistreated by humans. He was emaciated and so fearful of being abused again. It took a bit for him to trust us, but then he became very loving and playful. At adoption events he is a social butterfly now. In his foster home he is very affectionate and animated. He does well with other like sized dogs but would also be fine as an only. Crate trained, housebroken with supervision. Loves walks. He would do best with a patient human that is willing to help him blossom in their home. No children under 12 as they can be a little intimidating however he is doing well with the children in his foster home. He is a pup with a lot of potential, but needs a patient human.
