About Opal

Adoption Fee: $150.00

Hi. My name is Opal and I am a female Rottweiler cross born on May 7, 2016. I came to Bridges to Home and had puppies. All my puppies have been adopted and now I'm ready to find my new home. I am well house trained and will let you know when I need to go out. I love just being around my people and being a couch potato. It would be best for me to be the only dog in a home. I'm very attached to my humans, but I need to live with adult humans. I do suffer from anxiety and so I need to be crated if you leave the house. I have learned how to be an escape artist, so make sure you keep an eye on me when I'm outside. It might take some time before you can leave me alone, inside, but I'll try my best. As you can see, it would be best for me to be with people who are home most of the time and with the patience and willingness to help me learn how to be the best furry friend. I am a loyal girl and with the right adopter, I will certainly be loyal to you!

Little Lamb   You may think “poor little lamb” but I’m an awesome little pup! I am a female Doberman blend born on May 20, 2020. I have a long story. I am an albino, which causes issues with my vision, hearing, and skin. I MUST be in indoor dog with very limited time in the sun. If I am outside for more than 15 minutes, I will require sunscreen on my nose, and a shirt. I’ll also need to wear my awesome special sunglasses to protect my eyes. I’m good with cats and another dog. I’ll probably be around 60 lbs., so if I’m around children, they should probably be older children. I do have vision issues, so I will likely run in to you. I also have a sensitive stomach and will require special food. The food I have been eating also has helped with my skin, so that’s great. I will walk with a harness, I just don’t like regular collars. I am a sweet, fun girl that is special in so many ways! My foster thinks I am a wonderful girl and with the right care, will be an excellent addition to your family.   For adoption inquiries, please fill out an adoption application at All of our pets are in foster homes in the greater Albuquerque area.
