How’s it going? My name is Reed and I’ve been told I’m one of the cutest, smartest and sweetest pups around! I’m on the search for my furever home. Just to be sure I find the home that’s the right fit for me and my new family, I’ll tell you some things about me and you can decide if I’m meant to be yours!  I've lived with lots of other dogs and do great with all of them. I've lived with young playful dogs and old grumpy dogs - I prefer the playful type, but am polite and respectful of my elder pals. It’s not a dealbreaker if you don’t have another pup in your family, but it sure would be great if you did! I consider myself pretty adventurous and think a family that enjoys being out and about would be perfect. Maybe we could go for some hikes?! I’m working hard on learning to walk well on a leash but could use some more practice before I can say I’m perfect at it. My foster mom and dad have been teaching me all kinds of things. They say I learn very quickly. I already know some of my basic commands and am working on some of the trickier ones like ‘wait’ and ‘down.’ I’m also potty trained (unless it’s reaaaaally cold out) and crate trained.  Since I’m so darn smart, my foster mom thinks I’d do really well with a family that can give me a job. That might mean using my sniffer to help find objects hidden around the house (or even digging through a snuffle mat), playing chase with my fur sibling or just learning more tricks! I’ll be honest with you, since I’m so young and am just starting out with homeschool, sometimes I can get distracted and think it’s funny to be stubborn. I need a home that will be patient and will understand I’m still learning. I promise I’m not being mean if I don’t do exactly what I’m asked 100% of the time- I don’t have a mean bone in my body!  If I had to say exactly what I’m looking for in a family it would be that they would be kind, fun, energetic and loving. ********PLEASE READ BELOW PRIOR TO EMAILING IN********** If you are interested in adopting this dog or any other from our rescue, please go to https://www.hobocare.org/adopt to review our home requirements and fill out an application. Hi, my name is Rockwell! Whew! Glad I got that introduction out of the way. I can be a bit shy when introducing myself, but I always make fast friends with nice people. Any chance you're a nice person looking for a new best friend? Bonus points if you're a shy, nice person. We could bond over our similarities! We could also bond over one of the best things known to dog-kind... belly rubs! Fun fact: belly rubs are great for the dog (of course!) but also boost the mood of the human giving them. What a miracle! I'm a smart boy, so I make a point of knowing these kinds of things. Speaking of being smart, I love keeping my brain busy by playing puzzles and learning new tricks. I'm also smart enough to have great house manners which, naturally, means I am potty trained. In addition to mental exercise, I love to stay fit by running and rolling (you might think of it as "ROCKing and rolling!) around the yard, going for walks (I love walks!) and playing with my personal favorite invention of all time, tennis balls!    One of my favorite things (aside from those amazing belly rubs) is cuddling. Since summer is almost over in Colorado, wouldn't it be great to have a snuggle buddy during the upcoming cold weather months? I've been told I'm a fantastic cuddler- you could even call me a cuddle bug! More than anything, I'm an overall great companion and absolutely adore being with my people. When I'm not cuddling with my people or playing brain games, you can often find me relaxing in my crate. Car rides are a blast for me, so if you enjoy the open roads, we'd make a great pair! Please apply to meet me at hobocare.org! Love, Rockwell ********PLEASE READ BELOW PRIOR TO EMAILING IN********** If you are interested in adopting this dog or any other from our rescue, please go to https://www.hobocare.org/adopt to review our home requirements and fill out an application. Ru is a 1 ½ year old Boxer mix.  This petite young lady came to HoBo Care ready for the opportunity to live her best life. Although shy at first, with a little love, kindness, and patience Ru is quick to warm up to people. She would thrive in a home with a fur sibling within her age range that can help her continue building confidence. Once comfortable with her surroundings, she LOVES to play and is always up for a game of tug.  On any given day, this sweet girl can be found in the yard sunbathing or zooming around with her foster fur siblings. Ru has so many endearing qualities that would make her a wonderful campanion. A home with older children 5+ would be ideal since she can be timid at times. She enjoys cuddling, takes treats softly, knows basic obedience cues, has mastered the doggie door, and is potty/crate trained. Are you ready to be loved by Ru? Submit an application to meet this little beauty.     **********PLEASE READ BELOW PRIOR TO EMAILING IN********** If you are interested in adopting this dog or any other from our rescue, please go to https://www.hobocare.org/adopt to review our home requirements and fill out an application. Meet Thistle, this 5-month-old boxer mix has the sweetest disposition. She can present herself as shy at first, but once you allow a little bit of time for her to settle into her surroundings, she’s eager to give warm, snuggly boxer hugs. This beauty is quite the head turner with a shiny, silky, caramel coat and the most adorable hints of white and black markings. Little Thistle wears her heart on her sleeve, and has a sensitive side too. She would benefit from a family that can ease her into new experiences, offer kind encouragement, and promote an environment that helps her feel safe and loved. She’s been around older children, dogs of different age ranges/breeds, and has a healthy respect for her feline companions. Thistle is eager to learn and has mastered many basic obedience cues, sleeps wonderfully in her crate and on car rides, is potty trained, and uses the doggie door effortlessly. Anyone that looks into those soulful brown eyes is sure to fall head over heels in love. She's one special girl, and deserves a life full of love and devotion.     ********PLEASE READ BELOW PRIOR TO EMAILING IN********** If you are interested in adopting this dog or any other from our rescue, please go to https://www.hobocare.org/adopt to review our home requirements and fill out an application.
