About Tilda

Meet Tilda!

Tilda was an owner surrender because the owner had multiple cats and they were all ganging up and picking on Tilda! The previous owner states that she is submissive to other cats, but due to her history, we would prefer to adopt her out as an only cat. She was previously indoor/outdoor, but has had NO issues adjusting to indoor only life and we will require her to be indoor only. She does have an ear tip as the previous owner used the free spay/neuter service, but she is not feral.

She has been in a foster home with one of our volunteers since December so we’ve had a chance to really get to know her. Tilda is shy at first but after a few days in a new home she comes out of her shell. She loves to hang out with her person and enjoys a great balance of naps, cuddles, pets, and active play. The adorable way she lies on her back and begs for some attention will melt your heart. For the first few weeks she got a bit vocal around mealtime, but the foster got an automatic feeder and her whining has stopped! She loves to be petted and you can handle her all over without any worries from her! She quickly took to a scratching post in her foster home and loves a good string chase.

Abe ended up at Kern County Animal Services in Bakersfield, CA after his owners passed away. Like his two siblings before him, he was going to be euthanized due to length of stay. Teresa and Cecile from Wishing Well Ranch reached out to us to see if we’d be interested in taking him. Abe is 5 years old and deserves his own family who will love him until the end of his days. He is the MOST human friendly dog, he welcomes everyone with a tail (knub) wag and a face lick! He spent some time doing board and train where we discovered he is pretty smart, he learned 'place' 'down' 'come' and 'leave it,' We're hoping to find someone who will continue working with him to become the best he can be! He LOVES stuffed toys and tennis balls, he'll even keep himself entertained with either when he's feeling really playful. He walks well on leash, but would prefer to just hangout with you on the couch. He's extremely handler focused, he thrives on a good relationship with his person, and he truly aims to please.   He can be quite intense with cats so we are recommending a cat free home, he gives off some weird dog body language vibes, so we are recommending a dog free home and we’d recommend any children in the home be respectful of his space. Abe had his tail amputated on April 6th due to a bad case of happy tail. show less

Olivia is a one year old spayed female terrier mix. Her and Oliver were back yard dogs with very little human interaction and socialization. We have been spending the last couple months gaining their trust and showing what life should be like for a dog. She is not house-trained or leash-trained, but we are working on it! She is very dog friendly, on the quieter side but can be vocal when she wants. She will need a patient adopter who has experience with shy dogs. She will need to be adopted with Oscar OR another social dog in the home. A meet and greet with a TPF representative and your personal dog will be required before meeting Olivia. She will need an adult only home, no exceptions.  Olivia gets excited to see people whom she is used too, but takes pets on her time only. She will need a patient adopter who is willing to work with her on being part of a family. We will require a home that has access to the fenced yard from the home since she is not leash trained. Feel free to send any questions to info@prezfoundation.org before filling out the adoption application if you have questions.  **If you choose to adopt Olivia or Oscar separately, they will be held until the other is adopted and they will be separated ONLY once they BOTH are adopted due to how bonded they are.** show less
