Meet Adora: Adora is 16 weeks old (as of March 30, 2023) and guessed to be a corgi/shepherd mix that weighs about 20 pounds. Adora and her litter mates (Cupid, Cherish, Archer) were walking down the middle of the street with their mom (Amore) when a wonderful human stopped to bring them all in from the cold. Adora is being fostered in the Lancaster, PA area. This little litter is a group of your typical sweet, friendly, active, curious pups. They will look in every corner and container to see what’s around and then end their search with a cozy snuggle in your lap. As a puppy, Adora will need some patience while she works on her house training. We would love for Adora to have a home with a fenced in yard for her to run and play! Adora is getting up to date on her shots and will be spayed when age appropriate. Meet Alexis: Alexis is a beautiful Hound mix that is around 18 months old and 45 pounds. Alexis and her one baby were found in Memphis on the side of the road eating trash when Charlie's Crusaders rescued them. Alexis is now being fostered in PA and is ready for her forever home!  Alexis is a great dog, loves to be around people, is good with children, and gets along with other dogs. Alexis also loves to snuggle and will be your best buddy. Alexis will definitely need a fence and a family that will be home with her during the day to give her lots of attention and exercise.  Alexis does well with new people in the home and does not have food aggression with other dogs.  She just wants LOVE. Alexis was spayed on 12/12/2022 and is up to date on all her shots. Meet Arlo: Arlo is about a 1 year old (as of March 2023) hound/shepherd mix (best guess) that weighs about 60 pounds. Arlo was picked up as a stray in northern Mississippi and taken in by a rescuer. Arlo is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Arlo is a very affectionate  and attentive fellow. He has been great with people, other dogs and cats while in foster care. We are unsure of the status of Arlo’s house training, but will be assessing. Meet Arrow: Arrow aka Zachary is up for adoption because his current adopter is returning him because he moved to a new home and he can only have 3 dog’s and no Pit breeds. The adopter adopted Arrow and his sister over a year ago and is keeping his sister because she looks less scary then Arrow. Adopter also took in two small dogs a friend of his had to rehome and so now he wants Arrow gone. Our hearts are breaking for Arrow and we need a loving home for Arrow. Arrow has a high prey drive and is very rambunctious and when he smells something he wants to pursue, he will!!  Children in home should be over 12 years of age as he doesn't realize his size and strenght. Arrow is a Bully mix that is 3.5yrs and weighs 60-65lbs.  Arrow is a lovable and energetic guy. Arrow loved to play with his sister and run around the yard. He is somewhat obiendiant and easily trainable. He is housebroken and is up to date on all his shots and neutered. Arrow loves people but will need to be an only pet. Bailey’s owner recently passed away and we stepped in to try to find this sweet girl a loving home. Bailey is currently being fostered in the Lancaster, PA area. Bailey is a sweetie who likes people and other dogs. Bailey is house trained and she will raise her little paw to signal that she needs to go outside. Meet Bally: Bally is a 9 month old (as of February 2023) lab/terrier mix that weighs about 35 pounds. Bally was found in Byhalia, MS. A business owner had many dogs outside on his property to protect his trucks, but unfortunately they were not fixed and he ended up with many unwanted puppies. The parents of the pups are to be fixed while we try to find these little ones good homes. When we first got the pups, they were unsocialized. We have had wonderful fosters working with this litter and Bally's socialization is the most complete of the litter. In fact, his behavior is indistinguishable from ordinary dogs that have come from normal environments where interaction with humans was frequent. Bally will greet you when you come home and jump up on you for a doggie hug. Bally would love a home to feel safe and warm in! Bally will need a home with a fenced in yard. Bally is working on his house training and will need continued work. Bally is up to date on his shots and is neutered. Meet Banjo! Banjo is a 5 year old Plott Hound mix weighing about 65 pounds. He is a beautiful boy with his brindle coat and white chest and markings and he has the most expressive face. Banjo is a sweetheart and a fragile soul that likes to be told he is a good boy and he just wants to please. Banjo loves to be active and is a high energy dog. He enjoys walks, hikes, car rides, and playing. Most of all, Banjo enjoys cuddling with his people on the couch. Banjo struggles with confidence and anxiety issues, but has been working on these things with a trainer and will do wonderfully in the right home while continuing his hard work and with an adopter that is knowledgeable with anxious dogs. Banjo is reactive to new situations and he is learning to come out of his shell and be more engaged in the world and not so selective and nervous around strangers. Banjo is also very food motivated! Banjo is well versed in obedience training and knows sit, crawl, down, stay, bed, speak, and roll over. He is muzzle trained, house trained, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. Banjo will not chew on bones or play with toys and his fosters are working on getting him to learn what toys are. Banjo would be best in a home with a single person or couple. Banjo gets along with other dogs when introduced slowly, he will play with them, and could do well in a home with multiple dogs but needs the proper iand slow introduction with an experinced dog owner. Banjo would prefer a home with no children and likes women more than men. Meet Banjo (a.k.a. Rebel): Banjo is about a 14 week old (as of March 2023) sweet shepherd mix that weighs about 35 pounds.  He has the features of a Red German Shepherd with his beautiful brownish-red coat, but his actual breed is unknown; he has the cutest fluffy ears! Banjo was picked up as a stray in Memphis, TN. Banjo was transported up to Pennsylvania where he is currently being fostered. Banjo, or Banjovi as he is sometimes called, absolutely loves his foster brother who is a pit/beagle mix. They wear themselves out every day chasing each other around in their fenced-in yard, wrestling, and retrieving balls. He’s slightly bigger than his foster brother; however, Banjo seems to be submissive and backs off when his brother has had enough. Banjo would like to go to a home with a dog friend, however he would also be ok without one. He has a lot of puppy energy and will need opportunities to play and run around to expend his energy. Banjo is a smart guy - he knows “sit”, “shake”, and is doing well with “lay down”. Banjo is doing so well and responds quickly to “NO”. He gets so excited around people and tends to jump up to be petted, but even that has gotten better just 4 days into his northern foster home. We believe Banjo will do well with children once he learns his puppy manners! He is super sweet and does not have a mean bone in his body. Banjo loves to be petted and loves to curl up next to you and snuggle for a nap! Banjo is crate trained (and seems to like it) and doing very well with house training! Meet Belle: Belle is 9 weeks old (as of March 14, 2023) and guessed to be a pit / lab mix that weighs around 7 pounds. Belle and her litter mates (Prince, Hunter, Magic, Maurice, Maestro, Phillipe, Chip and FiFi) were rescued from being sold out of the back of a pickup truck at the grocery store. Belle is currently in a loving foster home in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to meet more prospective families. This Beauty and the Beast litter is your typical group of very sweet, loving, curious, happy pups! They all love to eat, play, snuggle and sleep. Meet Ben: Ben is about a 12 week old (as of March 4, 2023) shepherd/lab mix (best guess) that weighs about 12 pounds. Ben wandered up to a house in Memphis with his presumed litter mate, Jerry. They were fortunate that the random house they wandered upon was the home of a vet technician who was able to get them into the safety of our rescue. Ben is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Ben is a playful and very affectionate puppy. Meet Bitsy! Bitsy is a 10 month old (as of March 2023) hound mix (our best guess) that weighs around 25 pounds. Bitsy and her sister Suki were spotted by a good Samaritan running around a vacant lot and living under an abandoned house in Arlington, TN. Both were malnourished and had severe skin issues. Bitsy was almost completely bald when she was rescued. Bitsy and Suki are now being fostered in the Lancaster, PA area and are both healthy, happy, attractive pups! Bitsy is bonded to her sister Suki and they will need to be adopted together and will need a home with a fenced in yard. Both pups love to cuddle and both love people, including kids. Bitsy and Suki enjoy playing together and keep each other occupied. Both are working on learning new commands and want to please their owner. Both enjoy toys, especially crinkly ones! Meet Bonnie: Bonnie is about a 10 year old (as of March 2023) chihuahua mix that weighs 8 pounds. Bonnie was found by an elderly couple 9 years ago hiding under their car very scared, wet, hungry and pregnant. This wonderful couple brought Bonnie in and raised her and her 2 pups (the 3 are a bonded team that we are trying to keep together). Unfortunately, the couple has recently had to enter an assisted living facility and they can no longer have their trio of chihuahuas. Bonnie is currently in a foster home in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north, with her kids, to meet more prospective families. Bonnie is a very gentle, tail-wagging dog that takes just a little time to get to know you and then wants to sit in your lap as best buds. Bonnie, ToJoe, and Whitey are all submissive dogs that are more on the timid side. They get along with other dogs, but don’t have an interest in playing or engaging with them. They prefer to hang out as their trio, but are fine to be near other animals that will just let them be. We would love for them to have a home with a fenced in yard to run and play freely. They seem to be house trained - they don’t head to the door to let you know they need to go out, but they go outside when they are given the opportunity. Bonnie is up to date on her shots and spayed.
