Meet Acorn, a charming puppy with a heart as big as her personality. Acorn is smart, probably some kind of herding breed, and she's quick to learn new tricks, always eager to please and impress. Her playful spirit is infectious, filling the room with joy and laughter. Acorn's favorite pastime? Cuddling! She's the perfect companion for cozy evenings and would love to snuggle up with you on the couch. She is also energetic with typical puppy curiosity and need for activity. She would be a great camping or hiking buddy when she gets older. Acorn journeyed up from New Mexico with her five sisters. She will probably be a medium size dog, roughly 40-50 lbs. She has lived with other dogs and a cat. She likes to chase the cat so would probably do best in a house without one. Her foster home also includes a child and she does well with them. She is working on potty training and has been in a crate to sleep and while we're away for a few hours. She does well in the crate. Acorn will be ready to go home on December 10th. Alex loves her daily walks, sits for food/treats, is kennel trained, and loves to cuddle on your lap.  She uses a doggie door and is starting to learn about potty training. Calling all experienced dog owners - meet Taco, part fox, part snuggle bear, part ears!  More than anything, I’m looking for a second chance to live a long peaceful life. Prior to coming to Colorado, my rambling life journey found me living on a mountain behind a truck stop near the AZ/NM border. A nasty wound on my head caught the attention of locals, who picked me up and gave me care. Since then I’ve grown to love life with humans. At first I was a bit nervous, but after only a week I realized how great humans are, and how fun it is to go on walks and hikes with them!  I am looking for a home where it can just be me and my people - I am playful with toys, love belly rubs, find puzzles with food stimulating, and am starting to get a hang of cuddling. I really am my best self when only other (adult) people are around. Even though I am soft and cuddly, children stress me out and I am looking for an adult home. Because of my time on the mountain, I have solid survival instincts and can be assertive with unfamiliar dogs - please don't take me to a dog park. Since being in foster care, I have learned to sit, lay down, wait before eating my food, and walk with a ‘gentle leader’. I am very smart and am learning new tricks! I have also had slow intentional introductions and successful playdates with a few other non-dominant dogs. I’d prefer somewhere to live that’s not too crowded and busy, and I couldn’t thrive without my own securely-fenced yard to run and play. I enjoy soaking up the sun and stalking squirrels in the yard, and exploring new smells on walks and hikes - though, in the winter you’ll find me keeping the couch warm.  I am an intelligent and independent dog whose tenacious and quirky personality is sure to warm the hearts of any human who gets to know me, and provide stories, laughter, and joy for years to come. I am being fostered near Denver, CO, but given my preference on location, transport can be arranged for the perfect adopters! Meet your new bestie - Bailey! Bailey is a loyal, attentive and quiet girl, until she gets the morning zoomies! Bailey loves pets and belly rubs, and is leaning how to play fetch. She is easy to handle on a leash and LOVES her crate. Shy at first, she warms up with gentle words and treats. She will likely be a fantastic hiking buddy too. She is a quick learner and loves praise and pets, and she already knows a few basic commands. Bailey is working on confindently and calmly watching bikes, people and other dogs pass by on walks. She would do best with someone who will spend plenty of time with their new super soft snuggle buddy! As per her GP breed, Bailey will likley be a large dog.  Bailey is considered an "adult" dog, and as such she cannot go to a home with children under 12. show less

Hi, everyone! My name is Bella, but my foster family calls me Meeps because that's the sound I made in the car when they picked me up! My meow is silent, but my purr is loud! And let me tell you, my motor is always going! My favorite things are curling up in my foster mom's neck for a quick nap (I never left her side while she recovered from surgery), cuddling with my foster dad, and sleeping next to them at night after a long day of playing with my foster brothers. I was bullied in the past by some other kitties, but I've gained a lot of confidence and would do well with another kitty that wants to play! I haven't met any dogs yet, but I have yet to meet someone in my foster home I didn't want to be friends with!  Mom says I'm the perfect balance of a petite, silly kitten and a 10/10 sweet-as-sugar snugglebug. I also love to give kisses! If you want a velcro kitty that will follow you from room to room, I'm your gal!
