Hi everyone! My name is Alice but you can call me Ali. I'm a 3 year old yellow lab mixed medium breed weighing 28 pounds. I'm spayed and up to date on my vaccines. Im good with other dogs my size or larger and I ignore the cats in the house. I'm a bit on the sassy side. I  will bark to get my way and can be a bully. I will need a stern owner who knows how to handle a bossy dog. My foster mom is stern with her words and it puts me in my place. Besides that... I'm a great dog! I am house broken, I know how to sit, catch and am working on how to give paw. I can be trusted home alone all day without any issues! I LOVE toys. Ropes, balls, squeeky toys, and Benebones. I can play with my toys and keep myself busy for hours! I love going on walks and I walk great on the leash. Saving the best for last... I LOVE to cuddle- belly rubs and snuggles are the best! I will hang out in the couch with you and snuggle you! Meet Athena! This gal is a typical big strong girl💪🏼 with a heart of GOLD. ✨ Despite being failed earlier in life, bred time and time again, and dumped— Athena has nothing but LOVE to give. She is a huge cuddler and there is no shortage of kisses! Her leash manners have improved, she will tug a bit but learns quickly. She is so SMART! She has learned "sit" and is learning other basic commands. She is doing great with house training and does well with asking when to go out!  She doesn't do well around female dogs. Athena will be spayed soon with hopes this will help her demeanor towards female dogs   She's just a girl looking to find her spot in the world. She would do best with a strong owner who has patience. Hi all! My name is Bailey and I’m around 11 years YOUNG of course😉. I LOVE going on walks and smelling everything. I would do better in a house without a lot of stairs since they aren’t my favorite. I don’t bark a lot besides when someone is walking by the house. Because of my age, I’m looking for a home with no kids, cats or other dogs. I’m looking for a quiet and calm home. Hi my name is Buddy! I’m an 8 year old neutered labradoodle with up to date shots. I love people and going on walks or just having a calm day inside with my parents! I’m not too fond of our kitty friends, and have selective dog friends, I would most likely be best in a household with no other pets. I’m super sweet and look forward to meeting new people! I’m great on a leash and have been working on being crate trained! I am very gentle with everyone, but sometimes I do get too excited! My name is Charlie! I am a around 2 years old and am looking for my forever home. My mom has another older dog and we have not been getting along. I am kind of bossy and also don't like to share my food, toys or attention.   Charlie needs a home with no children, dogs or cats. He is a very dominant dog and the adopter MUST HAVE large dog experience. Daxter is a 5 year old sweet boy that is in need of a new home! He is basset mix with some extra tini legs to keep him low to the ground for brute strength and a little extra chunk around the mid line for warm snuggles 😂❤️ Daxter is potty trained, crate trained, and a perfect gentleman in the home if left alone ! He loves his ball and playing fetch!  Daxter was adopted from a high kill shelter in 2020 from another state and after the owner realized he was fearful of children , she contacted our rescue looking for help with rehoming him due to have a baby on the way.  Dax did amazing in his foster home but , Due to lacking socialization Daxter is fearful of children. Which was noted and he was adopted to a family without children. However, he has a noted prey drive with cats that he did not appear to have when cat tested in foster. What can he say? He likes to chase cats and that’s just what he’ll do!!!  After being adopted, It became clear that daxter’s real fear is unknown people and situations. It is increased with men and children. He has had two human dads and was comfortable with them in the home BUT is very fearful of men visiting and will jump at them to react out of fear. His foster was not aware of this fear due to having no adult men in the home, so when he was adopted to a home with multiple males in the family that visited, it became overwhelming for Daxter with the amount of male visitors. At this time, we feel Daxter would benefit from a home where he has a “safe place “ that has low traffic with visitors and less stimuli that causes him to be repeatedly fearful. We would also consider a home that genuinely will commit to working with him to overcome his fears with positive reinforcement and slow introductions to new stimuli.  This is not an easy rehoming. Daxter has prey drive with cats, and doesn’t  like sharing his home with dogs or kids.  We have come to realize, when we say a “ safe place “ , Daxter needs a home that is just his dog parents, him, and a cuddly place on the couch/ bed and he is the happiest dog in the world! He loves to smell, smell, smell and be outdoors so a fenced in yard would be helpful. He does not try to jump fences so fence height doesn’t concern us in any way!  Daxter’s teeth are chiseled down to which the vet has said he lived a majority of his life on a chain outdoors or in a kennel to which he tried relentlessly to escape from which makes sense with the lack of socialization to new things and people😔 if you’re curious how we know this is fear.. Daxter will flinch or get low to the ground in fearful situations. This reactivity comes due to fear as well when the stimuli becomes overwhelming when being pushed into new situations too quickly.  Between the rescue, current owner, and in-home trainer, we have all decided to begin Daxter on Prozac to see if this helps him over come some of his anxieties in life and broaden his ability to be introduced to new things in life in a positive manner!      •    we will NOT tolerate anyone bashing current owners. They have went above and beyond to work with Daxter and the obstacles of visitors and their cat. This was an unforeseen circumstance and everyone is wanting what makes Daxter happy and secure!  If you would like to be the one to save a TRUE rescue in need, that has fallen to the hands of humans that have failed him in his past life, and feel you have a calm home life for Daxter to play ball, lounge in the yard, cuddle up on the couch, and give you endless laughs and attention, please apply @crossyourpaws.com      show less

Duchess is a sweetheart! She looks to be a beagle/pug mix, approximately 2 years old & 26lbs. Duchess loves everyone she meets & is good with other dogs. She was found on the side of the road with her 3 puppies. Please consider giving her the stable home she deserves. Duchess is doing great in her foster home!! She is very social and wants to be  with you all the time. She is a very motivated little dog.  She is happy to play (she and her foster are working on what toys she likes!), or she likes to spend her time getting cuddles and belly rubs.  Duches has not had a accident in the house, will let you know if she needs to go out, appears to have accomplished the housebreaking task.  Definitely strongly bongs with her person. Can walk by cats and chickens on the leash,  but would think it was much more fun to chase them- we are helping her with that. Working on leash manners and recalls.  Also went for a couple of car rides, doesn't get sick in the car, but would prefer to seat in your lap.  This is a little dog with lots of personality , super fun. Hasn't chewed anything in the house, she has a rag that she likes to suckle on. She does well with the crate or xpen.   Looking for her lucky adopter!!! At first, I admit I was afraid. I was petrified!  You were petrified?  Thinking I could never live without you by my side. And I spent so many nights, thinkin did me wrong, and I grew strong…  You know I hate this damn song! The replacement (scab) players for the Sentinels are ready to hit the field! For fans and owners alike, the strike is a disaster. But for this mismatched crew of outsiders, these 9-10 week old pups have been given something that every dog dreams of… a second chance. And they’re afraid of blowing it. But now their fear is shared, and they can overcome it together! Sure they may push the limits on the field but what are the refs going to do…Throw them in football jail? Clifford Franklin is looking for a new home! I wish I could say something classy and inspirational, but that just wouldn't be our style. Pain heals, chicks dig scars, glory lasts forever- Shane Falco Put me in coach, I’m ready to play! That definitely would be Fumiko! Pretty sure this title fellow would be a linebacker ready to throw some blocks and lead the defense team. He has a spunky personality that is very smart and pretty much willing to call his own plays, if you let him. And if you want to take charge, be prepared cause this little guy will look at you with his beautiful brown eyes and that’s it . … he’ll back to calling his own plays and throwing down some of his best moves yet. My name is Gavin! I’m 6 months old and about 20 pounds! I came the whole way from Kentucky on a search for my forever home! My ideal home would be someone who is home a lot. I love a lot of things! I love being around my people! I love snuggling and playing. I love being outside! When I get super excited and happy I do zoomies. Give me a bone or a toy and I can entertain myself! I will sleep in my crate all night without making a noise as long as I can see my humans. I do like other dogs but also wouldn’t mind being an only dog. I’m a very easy going guy! show less
