About Rodgers

Adoption Fee: $250.00

Rodgers is a big goofy, playful boy who would love a home with a yard to run around in! He does tend to get excited and jump up on people so a home with older kiddos is suggested. He's doing great so far with the other pups in his foster home. He's a big fan of food and treats and a sucker for a good scratchin'! He likes car rides, but does get car sick as well.

With her super soft ears and her soulful eyes, Charlie will steal your heart. She’s young enough to have energy for playing and silly antics but old enough that she won’t chew everything in sight and pee on your floor. She enjoys toys of all kinds, be they plushy squeakers or chewy bones. Her beautiful chestnut brown coat sheds minimally.     She is very much a hound and as such is very food motivated and has a strong prey drive. That being said, she does get along well with cats as long as they’re willing to get along with her. We do not recommend small children as she often forgets her size and strength when playing. She would be thrilled to have a canine companion to join in her romps but does not need another dog.      Charlie walks well on a leash, though is a bit of a harness escape artist. An appropriate harness and leash set up will be included with her adoption.    Charlie will hang out in her crate during the day on her own but does not like being forcibly separated from her humans if they’re home. If they’re gone, she experiences a bit of “alone sickness” and sings a song of solace but has thus far remained crated and has not destroyed anything or escaped. Still, those houndy howls and barks are not suitable for places with shared walls.    She knows sit, stay, shake, (lie) down and drop it. She is working on “speak”.  She will come when called if she feels like it. Apply online at www.lolasrescue.com show less
