This boy is a purr machine.  Brain and his littermate Pinkie--you get the reference?--were bottle fed rescues so they are very used to being handled. Brain is full of usual kitten playfullness and loves to snuggle.  He's been tested for FIV and Feline Leukemia and will receive his first vaccinations prior to adoption. Calypso is a road trip fanatic!  She enjoys going for rides in the car whether it be in a seat, carseat, or floorboard; it makes no difference to her.  As long as she gets to go somewhere with you while the AC is blowing, she is a happy girl. Do you want a furry companion to pack up and go with you...then this little girl may be your paw-fect match! She is friendly with everyone she meets so wherever you go she will be an instanst hit - she knows no stranger. We really think she would do well as an agility or working dog as her energy level and smarts can definitely keep up with these kinds of activities. She is food and treat motivated so learning can be fun for her and you both. Calypso can be a little mouthy when she is bored and wants to play, so she is looking for an active new family.  So if you are looking to add a fun loving pup to your family, Calypso gets along with dogs and older kids/teenagers (due to size/energy/playfulness). Though a fenced yard and other playful dogs in the home aren't required it is probably BEST for Calypso to have both for her age and playfulness. She loves being outside and running around in the fenced yard and having a great time. Calypso can be a little mischievious if bored so burning up energy is the best way to keep her bright mind busy! Since a yard with a 5ft fence is best for her, an apartment, condo or townhome would not be a good fit for Calypso. Calypso is a loyal, loving, and energetic young pup who enjoys long walks, fast runs, chasing balls and playing with other dogs. She likes to get her zoomies out and then cuddle up with her humans and favorite toy. She is happy to share some kisses and just make your day! We are working on her leash manners and her new family would need to continue to build on this with positive reinforcement only training.  She can be slightly grabby for the leash when she is ready for a walk and you aren't. So get those walking shoes on for this fun little girl!  Her current daily routine is something like this; walk and feed in morning, walk and feed in evening, walk mid day walk and snuggling after walks/runs. Some of her favorite things to do are; tug-o-war, walking/running with family, playing with other dogs, car rides, playing with toys, going to doggie daycare but not dog parks. If you are looking for a calm, low-maintenance cat, look no further, Cami is the girl for you!   She is a wonderful, undemanding, companion that enjoys laying on the bed and watching tv with her foster family.   She wants to be near you, not on you.    She really enjoys living life indoors.... with all of the creature comforts... food, comfy places to nap, food, scratching posts, food, good tv shows, food, a nice clean litter box, food, perches to hang out and nap on.   Yes, we are aware we said food and naps several times... she has never been known to turn down a snack or a meal.   After all, don't we all wish we could take a little snooze when we have a full tummy? She is very laid-back.   She likes things to be calm and laid-back, like her.  She isn't a big fan of loud noises.  She gets along well with cats and dogs as she lives with both in her foster home.  So, canine and feline antics are a-okay with her.    She enjoys pets, rubs, and head scratches.   She isn't a big fan of being picked up and held.   Once she gets used to you and trusts you, she will be more trusting and tolerant. Adult humans are her preference.   She tolerates older children although she does tend to avoid them.  She won't do well in a home with younger children.   Their unpredictability, sudden movements, and volume would likely be too much for her.       Cami is just over 1 year old and her adoption fee is $60. Cloud has tested positive for the feline leukemia virus. Delilah walks well on a leash and is well behaved. Therefore, Delilah does not require a fence as long as her family likes going on several nice walks each day.  She will be a hit around the neighborhood, greenway, outings, etc. She is SUPER sweet and friendly. She loves everyone and everyone loves her.  She doesn't know what the word stranger means. My foster mom says her new home should be with an active person or family where she can get her energy out.  Delilah would love to have another dog to play.  If not, just know she loves going to doggie day care and playing with furry friends!  After play time, there's nothing like some good cuddle time. You will find her ears to be velvty soft and may want to stroke them for hours.  So she could be in a home with other friendly pups or a single dog home as long as her family let her have some regular fun with furry friends. She has the personality that will light up a room. She will toss toys and treats around and make a game of it all by herself.  It is quite adorable.  She really loves all kinds of toys...soft ones, squeaky ones, fluffy ones so make sure to have a good variety for Delilah. She is a true hound and has a big hound body and personality.  Since she is tall, she can reach counters and with that amazing hound nose she will want to get a bite of those tasty morsals if you leave her unattended.  What's yours is mine kind of a thing in her mind!  Maybe sometimes she can a bit stubborn, but it's a hound thing a ya gotta love it!  If the home already has a fence it should be a minimum 5ft tall. Do you have a dog that needs another happy, playful, fun-loving and energic furry sister? She loves her pup friends at doggie daycare so a family with other playful and fun furry family members is a must. Desi really loves her furry friends and enjoys going on "double date" walks with them. Since she is on the shy side, another dog always gives her the boost of confidence she needs when she is out on walk. She is even playful on walks with her foster friends and it's just adorable to see. Cute head tilt and beautiful markings! Desiree is gorgeous and just absolutely stunning in person. She has the most gorgeous coloring and beautiful facial expressions. Her coat is silky soft, and she has velvty ears. She is a head turnner! Desiree loves to run and play and is silly with her stuffed toys. She is just a joy to be around and makes you smile! She has a slight shy personality with brand new people, but she will quickly warm up to you and steals your heart.  A family that will have safety measures in place for doors, on walks, and in a fenced yard until she settles in and is safe would be great! A solid, sturdy 6ft fence is needed for Desi. She loves being outside and playing in the yard with other dogs and people.  She is currently working on leash manners, so a family wanting to work on positive reinforcement training is important.  She likes going on walks with her furry friends, so grab a partner and take two! She has learned SIT but not DOWN or the "infamous" word NO; however she is treat motivated so that is always a great way to train!  Also, within the fenced yard working on recall training with treats as well.  When excited she jumps up so that we are working on with her.  She is very sweet and can definitely be a snuggler or lap dog and would like to cuddle with you on the sofa. She will lean in on you to give her some love and attention. She is crate trained and is working on potty training. She finds her crate to be a comfort zone.  Unless with her people, she is crated because she is still in a chewing phase and likes to find paper to tear up. We are introducing her to car rides and she loved going for a ride for fun things like a pup cup treat.  We beleive she will be a good companion in the car.  Since she feels safe in her crate, a travel crate may be a good option for her. Desiree has been treated for heartworms and will be retested by our rescue until then she will be local adoption within 1 hour radius of Wake Forest, NC. (DOB 04/03/2022)  Due to Doc Holliday's young age, he has not yet been neutered.  For this reason, we are only considering local placement (within 1 hour drive time of Wake Forest NC).  Doc is the smallest of the litter, but don’t let his small size fool you! He has a huge personality of love, spunk, and playfulness! He loves to play tug of war with his human and fur siblings. He also loves pets and a good snuggle with his people. He has typical puppy energy and will require a fur sibling to show him the ropes of being a well socialized dog. He is a happy guy and looking to join a happy and fun family! New parents will need to continue to work on house training, crate training, and have the patience and energy to give a puppy all of the attention they require to learn and grow up to well rounded young adults.  This includes proper play, positive reinforcement training and lots and lots of love! Since puppies like to put everything in their mouths, including little peoples hands, fingers, toes, etc. children in the home will need to be older than 8 years of age.  Remember puppies have very sharp baby teeth and they are teething so lots of chewing is needed for them.  You will need a variety of chew toys to redirect them. Doc is already crate trained and goes night-night and sleeps well over night. Are you looking for a sweet boy who LOVES his people?! Then look no further because Domino has arrived! He becomes the most energetic pup when you are around, and he smothers you in kisses. Once he calms down, you’re in for a good snuggle. His dark brown eyes just make you fall under his spell!  And if those don't do it, his amazing helicopter ears will transfix you! He walks on a leash like a pro and takes direction very well. Being crated is already a part of his routine which makes the process a breeze. Make sure to reward him with a treat every now and then 😉! He is the perfect addition to your family that you didn’t know was missing. Domino has typical puppy energy and loves to chase balls, play with toys and his stuffed bear. He will need a dog sibling or two that can match his energy in his life to help him corral his puppy energy and attitude.  Domino is cat friendly especially with dog-savvy cat(s), but he will likely learn quickly what a non-dog-savvy kittie(s) boundaries are since he is a quick learner. In addition, Domino’s new family will want to be ready for the time commitment of a puppy; he needs quality play time, teaching and training time, introducing him to new and different places and activities, so he can continue growing into a well adjusted, confident, and well mannered young adult. Domino loves to learn especially when treats are involved and making it a game with lots of love and positive reinforcement is fun for him! Like all puppies, Domino is teething and learning bite inhibition, so if their are children in the home, they should be no younger than 8 years of age.  Remember puppies put everything in their mouths which includes kids fingers and toes, so very young children are not a good fit for equally young puppies.  The family will need to show Domino what he can and should not be chewing on and redirect him to appropriate teething and chew toys. He does love all kinds of toys and swapping them out and giving him new or different ones are good for his budding puppy brain! This little guy has been good with new people and other dogs. He is a friendly, happy go lucky guy and ready to hang out with you wherever you are. He is good in the car and wants to be close to you so if you don't want him helping you drive, you probably should get a doggie car seat or travel crate. He loves attention and sweet petting and rubbing from anyone that wants to share some love. Domino is well on his way to potty training. His new family will just need to continue a regular routine with him and take him out to potty regularly. He loves going on walks with his family and is good on a leash. A fenced yard isn't a 100% required; however it would be preferred so he could play with his new furry siblings. If there is a fence it must be 5ft tall and solid. His thin frame allows him to get through slotted fencing. We would consider apartment/condo lifestyle as long as his family gets him out mutliple times a day to burn off energy. Three-legged wonder boy!  Donnie has a SMILE FOR DAYS!  Never have a bad day with Donnie's big, happy, infectious love in your life. Donnie is a big snuggle bug. If you need a kiss; Donnie can help! He loves his people and showering them with affection! He is so happy all of the time that his little Boxer-nub of a tail goes a mile a minute and makes his whole hind-end wiggle, wiggle, wiggle!  Donnie is a big boy but still wants to be a lap dog. Sweet Donnie boy is special needs, but don't tell him that, he has no idea! Donnie lost his leg due to a large mast cell tumor that was wrapped around his elbow. Mast  Cell Tumors are cancerous lumps, his wonderful vet team had taken some additional tumors off other areas as well.  We seemed to be keeping them at bay, but a few others have popped up. We are continuing the treatment regime the doctor has suggested and looking at other alternatives for him.  So, if adopted he will need additional care for the rest of his life.  This sweet boy is personality plus, bubbly handsome and sweet as can be, he drew a bad straw in the genetic lottery but he knows his forever family is still out there waiting. Donnie says missing his front leg only makes it easier to get closer to his people.  He does not let it slow him down.  AT.  ALL!  He loves playing with his foster family's dog and play with toys.  He is big but very gentle even with the littlest dogs in the home.  He likes to go for walks but is just as happy spending time at home.  With 3 legs, a little walk goes a long way for him.  Then he is ready to curl up next to you, snuggle and snore!  He LOVES being with his people! He will let you know when it is breakfast and dinner time.  He is a respectful eater and very treat motivated for training.  Donnie is a big boy but has done great with his foster siblings.  He was even a home with a tiny Yorkie and was so good.  He will probably need to be in a home with dog savvy kids, just based on his size and lack of care for personal space.  He neeeeeds to love you, immediately, without care of who or what he has to go over, through, or by! He does fine while home alone and is not crate trained from what we can tell. He is very smart and is doing well learning his commands. He would love a home where he could get snuggles and hugs and kisses all day, walks and a nice fenced back yard! Don't let his serious expression fool you... Dusty is a gem!  He will enjoy laying on the couch with his new family!. He's good with other dogs, big or small plus he loves the kiddos!! Dusty would do well with another fun, easy-going, and playful dog in the home or an active family that will enjoy spending a lot of time with him, he doesn't like to be alone for a long time! He would enjoy a fenced yard!  Dusty has learned good manners quickly and is smart/treat motivated.   He will also go into his crate for bedtime when asked. He enjoys walks around the neighborhood and sniffing in the backyard. He would make a great companion for hitting the breweries or outdoor restaurants !   Jovial, cheerful, lighhearted - all words that - which is exactly what Dusty is - sweet, happy, loveable boy.
