Meet Adamae:  Adamae is an adorable 2 year old Pit mix who weighs 50 lbs. Adamae was rescued from a high kill shelter and is now in a loving foster home. Adamae gets along with other dogs and people. Adamae has the most gorgeous and soulful eyes: one is blue and the other is brown.  Adamae loves to play in the yard, chase toys, and then collapse into a deep snuggle with you on the couch. Adamae would make a great family pet or companion dog.  Adamae will require a home with a fenced in yard. Adamae is up to date with vaccines, spayed and is currently going through heartworm treatment. Meet Arrow: Arrow aka Zachary is up for adoption because his current adopter is returning him because he moved to a new home and he can only have 3 dog’s and no Pit breeds. The adopter adopted Arrow and his sister over a year ago and is keeping his sister because she looks less scary then Arrow. Adopter also took in two small dogs a friend of his had to rehome and so now he wants Arrow gone. Our hearts are breaking for Arrow and we need a loving home for Arrow. Arrow has a high prey drive and is very rambunctious and when he smells something he wants to pursue, he will!!  Children in home should be over 12 years of age as he doesn't realize his size and strenght. Arrow is a Bully mix that is 2.5yrs and weighs 60-65lbs.  Arrow is a lovable and energetic guy. Arrow loved to play with his sister and run around the yard. He is somewhat obiendiant and easily trainable. He is housebroken and is up to date on all his shots and neutered. Arrow loves people but will need to be an only pet. Arrow will need a home with a fenced in yard and a family with big/strong dog experience. Meet Banjo! Banjo is a 4 year old Plott Hound mix weighing about 65 pounds. He is a beautiful boy with his brindle coat and white chest and markings and he has the most expressive face. Banjo is a sweetheart and a fragile soul that likes to be told he is a good boy and he just wants to please. Banjo loves to be active and is a high energy dog. He enjoys walks, hikes, car rides, and playing. Most of all, Banjo enjoys cuddling with his people on the couch. Banjo struggles with confidence and anxiety issues, but has been working on these things with a trainer and will do wonderfully in the right home while continuing his hard work and with an adopter that is knowledgeable with anxious dogs. Banjo is reactive to new situations and he is learning to come out of his shell and be more engaged in the world and not so selective and nervous around strangers. Banjo is also very food motivated! Banjo is well versed in obedience training and knows sit, crawl, down, stay, bed, speak, and roll over. He is muzzle trained, house trained, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. Banjo will not chew on bones or play with toys and his fosters are working on getting him to learn what toys are. Banjo would be best in a home with a single person or couple. Banjo gets along with other dogs when introduced slowly, he will play with them, and could do well in a home with multiple dogs but needs the proper iand slow introduction with an experinced dog owner. Banjo would prefer a home with no children and likes women more than men. 🔴 PLEASE NOTE MUST OWN YOUR OWN HOME AND HAVE A FENCED IN YARD🔴 Meet Betty.  Betty is a six-year-old  American Pit Bull Terrier. Betty is the sister and litter mate of Billy who is also featured at Charlie’s Crusaders Pet Rescue.  Betty has been home-raised all her life.  She did go to a new home for nine months but was reclaimed by the original owner and breeder because the new owner failed to provide shelter for her.  Other terms of the puppy contract were also ignored forcing the original owner to take possession of her.  Recently Betty’s owner was diagnosed with Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension making it impossible to care for four dogs.  Betty is a spayed female, current on all her shots including rabies.  Vet records are available.  Betty loves kids and other dogs but is probably too much dog for small children.  She will be a great companion for children eight years and up.  Betty is housebroken.  She loves to go for walks and loves to play with her brother Billy.  She is very friendly and loves attention from visitors and strangers.  She settles down quickly after an initial introduction.  She loves human touch and really loves to cuddle in bed or on the sofa.  She and Billy will be wonderful additions to any family.  Betty and Billy are crate familiar but have rarely been crated.betty and billy are a bonded pair and would like to stay together.
