Please welcome Addie who was brought to safety by a couple of angels all the way from Saudi Arabia. As you can see, this girl is SPECIAL! Addie is approximately 5 years old and 28 pounds. She is good with familiar dogs and older kids. Even though Addie had her hind limbs taken by an awful human and was dumped in the desert, she did not allow it to break her spirit. She has been through so much yet she doesn't look back and is so loving and gentle. Addie craves to be loved/petted and seeks out the nearest hand. Addie is happiest when she is making new human friends or sun bathing in the yard. She has an adorable howl for every occasion and will make you smile with her resilient way of doing things Addie style. She is truly an inspiration and magical! ***Addie will need long term diaper changes (around every 5 hours or so) but with some tricks from her foster family it is manageable. She has vision loss in her left eye but it doesn't slow her down! PLEASE READ BIO BEFORE APPLYING Brooklyn was rescued from a shelter in San Bernardino.  Brooklyn (Brookie) is approximately 4 years old and weighs about 35 lbs.  Brookie is a semi feral dog.  We have had her a while and never posted her because she is amazing with other dogs and she is who we use to temp test dogs and we have just let her be.   We have worked with her off and on but just recently we started working with her more because we have had the time to focus on her and she is making great progress.  We can corner her in an area and can leash her.  She is doing great on the leash.  We can get her on the couch with a leash and she will relax and we can pet her.   She takes treats from our hand and follows us around.   She will jump up on the back of our legs for attention.  She is not a barker.  She wants the attention and love so bad but doesn’t know how to receive it.  She jumps up on the bed and she will nudge my hand and roll over for me to pet her belly.  We are looking for an adopter for her that will take the time to work with her.  Brooklyn is a very special girl to us. She would do best in a home with at least one other dog and a yard.   He best furfriend is Molly who is also available for adoption.  Brooklyn is ready to make some family very happy. Peach was an owner surrender because the owners did not have time for her and they have to move.  Peach is approximately 9 months young and weighs almost 30 lbs.  She is very small and check out her adorable ears.  We are guessing her breed to be Basenji/American Pit Bull Terrier Mix.  Peach was very skinny when we took her in and she is gaining weight.  She is very puppylike and learning the puppy basics.   She is doing very well walking on a leash.  She loves everyone and  loves to give kisses. Peach would be fine with kids, however she does still jump up on people (work in progress).  She would do good in a home/apartment/condo as long as no breed restrictions.   Peach is ready to make some family very happy. *Special Needs* Meet Shasta!!! This little girl was injured and left partially paralyzed at the Riverside shelter. She was brought to safety and welcomed into the ARF pack in January. Shasta has received a lot of TLC and is now able to fully use her back legs and is as fast as can be!  Although we are not sure if further recovery will happen we believe the right family is out there ready and happy to change her cute little diapers for the rest of her life ❤  Shasta is slowley but surely healing.   Besides her incontinence (requires changes around every 6 hours) and limp tail Shasta is a typical youngster learning the ropes. She is playful, curious and is getting better about leash walking every day. She is an amazing snuggler and prefers to sleep under the covers with you.  Shasta is a little over 1 year and a fun-sized 20+ pounds.
