About Tito

Adoption Fee: $400

Tito is a 1ish-years, 9-pounds male chihuahua mix who was rescued from a difficult hoarding case in the Bronx.  He  is learning to be less nervous while in foster care and he has warmed up significantly but it does take him time with new people.   Once he does he absolutely loves to cuddle and will adore any human be it male or female. He gets excited when his foster mom's 12 year old comes back from school and follows him everywhere. He  gets along with the resident dogs and should be placed in a home with another dog.  He  is afraid to go outside, but is getting curious about  it. Therefore  he is not walking on a leash and is using the wee wee pads only. Yes, the little guy is missing a peice of his ear, but he doesn't seem to mind! He's very sweet!

Vaccinated, microchipped and neutered.

Daisy is a sweet, 1 year old, 20 lb Shiba Inu / Sheltie mix who loves other dogs and being outside.  She is housebroken and crate trained and rides well in the car. She likes respectful older kids who do not overwhelm her.  She is shy but curious and super smart. She can be sassy when she wants to play and likes squeaky toys and tug toys. She loves playing with her canine foster siblings all day long! Daisy would do best in a low traffic, suburban household with a fenced in yard as strangers and walks make her nervous.  She is looking for a family who will take their time and let her set the pace.  Once she warms up, she likes to snuggle on beds and will sit close to her humans while she naps. She needs another confident, playful dog in the home.  Vaccinated for rabies, DA2PP, and lepto. Spayed and heartworm negative. Needs microchip.  Please contact us DIRECTLY using the instructions below if you are interested in adopting one of our Waggytails! Meet Deidra! Deidra is a 1-2 year old petite lab mix weighing in at 30-ish pounds. Like many dogs, Deidra's journey to finding her forever home has not been easy. Upon arrival in NYC two months ago, Deidra was hit by a car. She broke her pelvis and needed a tail amputation. Two months post accident and a little less tail, Deidra is blossoming into a whole new dog! She has been vacationing at her foster home in New Jersey, where she has been showing her humans her adorable personality. She loves to give kisses, get belly rubs, and explore her backyard.  Due to Deidra's nerves in the city, we believe a suburban home would be best. While we think she would do fine as an only pet, another friendly dog would do wonders to help her confidence as she comes out of her recovery. If you are interested in D, please apply today! Vaccinated for rabies, DAPPv, bordatella. Spayed. Needs microchip.  Please contact us DIRECTLY using the instructions below if you are interested in adopting one of our Waggytails! Kelly is a 10-weeks, 12-pounds female xolo mix puppy from Alabama. This wonderful little girl loves to play with toys especially tennis balls. She entertains herself very nicely but also loves playing with her humans. Kelly is fearless and feisty with playtime and fetch, but also enjoys snuggle time, insisting on being part of TV couch time. She loves bringing her bones and bully sticks on the couch to bury and hide them in blankets for later use - not quite as sneaky as she thinks she is! Sweet Kelly has been great with pee pad training, and has grown to love the safety of her crate - especially piling her toys in there and retreating during a game of chase. Each night she is more comfortable sleeping in her crate, whining less at bedtime. A home with another playful pup would be great but is not a must - Kelly is friendly and loves meeting new people. Her super cute trademark ears make her look like a fox when they stand upright. Her foster mom is not ashamed of her many nicknames including Kell Bell, The Jet, Kelly Belly, Kell Belichick, Miss Kelly, Kelly Girl, and Danger Kell. This precious pup had a pretty severe case of non-contagious demodex mange before arrival that has pretty much healed.  Vaccinated for DAPP on 10/23, needs booster on 11/20. Microchipped. Needs spay and rabies vaccine. Flea, tick, and heartworm prevention due 11/19. Please contact us DIRECTLY using the instructions below if you are interested in adopting one of our Waggytails! Scout is 4-ish years, 10-pound neutered male terrier mix from the NYC shelter, now in our foster care. Scout comes to us with a bite history, but continues to make tremendous progress every day with his patient foster mom and is proving to be a smart, funny and lovable little guy. He craves affection likely missing in his previous life, but still has some trust issues. Scout needs a home with NO dogs or cats and NO children, with someone patient and consistently committed to working on his behavioral issues - and this person will be rewarded with love in return! He is mostly pee pad trained, but needs harness and leash conditioning until he can be walked outside. Scout has recently learned how much he LOVES playing fetch! Waggytail will cover some sessions with our approved behavioral trainer for this special boy.  Vaccinated for rabies, DA2PP, and bordetella. Neutered, microchipped, and heartworm negative.  Please contact us DIRECTLY using the instructions below if you are interested in adopting one of our Waggytails!
