About Kylo

Adoption Fee: $150.00

Kylo, who is just shy of two years old, was born in our care in August 2016 and until recently, had a home and family. Back then we had just recently trapped his mom, Leia, and her three kittens...when she gave birth to four more, including Kylo! These two were tight since day one, literally! Kylo is PURE TABBYLICIOUS LOVE. This young, curious guy just loves to be loved. Really. Curl up with a good book, and sit back while Kylo jumps into your lap for a little nap session. Feel his purr, give him belly rubs, take in all the furry fluffiness. He loves it all. And he loves to play too! Laser pointer and wand toys are his absolute favorite, but he's flexible as long as he's playing with YOU! Or his mom Leia -- they love to play together -- who this amazing boy is looking for a home with.

You see, when Kylo was just a baby a family decided to adopt both him and his mom! They loved playful boy Kylo and accepted shy Leia unconditionally -- it seemed meant to be! But, fast forward just under two years, and due to personal medical reasons with a child in the family -- Leia and Kylo's family were forced to surrender their furry family members. And now these two -- beautiful tabby mother and son -- are back in foster and waiting patiently for their true forever family, together.

Kylo & Leia are hoping to USE THE FORCE to find the perfect family, who this time will truly be forever. They've lived with kids of all ages, as well as animals. Click through to learn more about Leia, too! This dynamic duo offers the best of both worlds -- Kylo, a young, playful, cuddler. And his momma, Leia, cautious and shy, but sweet and forever grateful. Hi Five! Five is a sweet and spunky tuxedo girl with oh-so silky fur and whiskers for miles! Since being rescued, Five has learned to trust people and now enjoys being pet and her favorite place to nap is in bed with you. Five loves to chase her toy mice and wrestle with her bonded brother, Klaus. Five will need a quieter, patient home with a special family who will continue to bring him out of her shell. Five also enjoys the company of older, friendly cats who help him be reassured and confident. Welcome home these two sweet babies and experience for yourself what a joy it is to earn their trust!   This litter currently tested positive for FIV+, however, at this age they could still retest negative as they get older. Kittens can have the antibodies from their mom and not truly be positive. At this point they are being listed as having FIV+ but this should not hold you back from falling in love. These adorable kittens live with FIV- cats peacefully with no worries of transmitting from sharing water or food bowls , grooming or litter boxes, etc. FIV is spread through DEEP wound bites and should not be a concern with your pets. That kind of fighting is typically seen in colony cats who fight for territory, food and mating. We welcome you to ask your vet and do more research online. https://www.uwsheltermedicine.com/library/resources/what-should-we-do-when-a-kitten-tests-positive-for-fiv show less
