Asher is a fun and loving 3 year old male Dogo Argentino. He is almost competely deaf (only hears high pitch sounds). He does know some hand signal commands. Asher has a lot of energy and would do well with a female dog that has the same energy level. He loves a good romp around the yard and his favorite past time is sunbathing and playing frisbee. He's not a big fan of car rides as he does get a little sick but anti nausea medicine helps tremendously. He should go to a home with no small children since he is a big boy and doesn't realize his size. Asher is located in Pensecola FL. show less

Meet our handsome Binx!! We reached out to his fans to get him a new name because they were calling him "Cracker" at the shelter. So Binx was named by our of our supporters (Kim) after a character in Hocus Pocus! In the movie this charater was a daring, brave, and determined character.  These traits fit our Binx as well along with the fact that he is a mellow male with medium energy who enjoys spending time with his human.  Binx loves going on walks and car rides taking in all the scenery and scents.  He is a shelter survivor and we don't know much about his past and he appears to be may  6 years old. Binx is very well behaved and is a wonderful male ready for a home looking for the perfect companion.  Randomly he gets the zoomies and is very proud of when it makes his people smile! He is a gentlemen and we know there is a perfect home for him.  We don't know how he is around other dogs yet but he loves the adults in his life and has a laid back attitude willing to be trained by the trust of his handler.  Binx is living in sunny St Pete, Florida and definitely a Florida boy but willing to move to the perfect home. When we saved him from the shelter he needed some TLC and weight gain but now he is 100% ready for new parents!! show less

Buddy is affectionate and well behaved boy. He is very smart and although he doesn’t like to play fetch (he loves to chase), he does enjoy a game of tug-of-war and showcasing his tricks (sit, stay, paw, lay down, catch).  He is not allowed on furniture but that doesn’t stop him from trying to sit on your lap. He loves to cuddle, has never had an accident in the house and prefers to do his business in the woods. He will only bark at you if he really needs to go out. Buddy Loves to play and nap (he snores loudly). He has a favorite blanket that he carries around like Linus. He loves the sunshine and being outside. He’s happiest when he is with all of his people. He’s good with children and other dogs who are willing to play with him. Buddy is located in Virginia.  show less

Hiiiii! My name is Chaplin aka Chappy! I am a 2 year old Dogo Argentino that is looking to find my forever home! I’m a big goofball and still working on my manners. It would be best for my new family to continue training with a professional as I’m really silly and kind of a clown. I recently completed my heart worm treatment and now slowly I am getting exposed to more things. I seem to be interested in cats but a proper introduction may be best. I am around other dogs but seem to do better with lady dogs. I’m working on my introductions with people as I’m kind of judgey.. some people I just love right away others I need to be around you for a little bit. I’m not aggressive just vocalize my opinion. I seem to warm up to woman quickly but some men I want to get to know more over a little bit of time. I am an awesome eater and do not turn down my food or snacks. I am a giant love bug and looking for someone who likes to be active but also spends time as a homebody. If you’re not looking to adopt, please share me so my new family can find me! My perfect home would have a big fenced in yard for me to play in, and no kids under 10 years old - I'm just too clumsy and I wouldn't want to knock anyone down! Courtney is looking for a place to call home!  We think she may be around 2-3 years old. She is a really sweet girl who loves to snuggle and give sweet dogo kisses. Courtney would do well in a home with a stable male dog of similar size. She seems to need a buddy around to make her feel safe. She would prefer a home with no cats, small dogs or young children. She would love a home that would give her daily exercise and a soft place to land. She craves human attention, although she may take a moment to warm up and feel confident. Courtney is currently being fostered in Central Texas but would be willing to travel to an approved perfect home.    show less

Dash is a fun and energetic boy. He is approx 3 years old. Dash just finished his Heartworm treatment and is now ready for his furever home. He needs an experienced person who will work on his obedience training as he will test his boundries. He would do well in an active home where he can exert his energy which in turn makes him a happy boy. He is good with other dogs but would do best as the only male dog in the home. Evie is a funny and sweet girl. Her cute antics will make you smile. She was found as a stray and ended up in a south florida shelter. It appears she was used for breeding and probably dumped after they were done with her. We think she is around 4-5 years old. Evie is heartworm positive and will need to go through treatment for about 6 weeks. During this time, she will need to be kept quiet with very limited activity. She is a well behaved girl and crates easily. She is house trained and a fairly quiet only barking to alert you. Evie is a definition of a lap dog and will crawl into you lap every chance she get, oh and she a hugger!! She seems to be dog selective so she needs to be in a home with no other dogs or able to keep dogs separated. We do not know how she is with cat or small children. Evie is located in the Tampa Bay area but can be transported if you are not local.  show less

Felix is a young male who we just rescued from a San Francisco, CA shelter.  He is currently living with his foster family in Southern California, and we are learning more about him. We think Felix is around one year old. He has lots of energy and loves playing with toys! He is goofy and loveable! Felix is looking for a home that is patient, loving, and willing to help him learn manners and basic training.  He can be a little skiddish at first with strangers (especially men) and needs slow introductions to warm up to you. His new family should not have cats, but he may be ok with a female dog if the family is experienced and willing to separate and do slow and propper introductions.  show less

🌸 Gracie is new to the rescue and we had no choice but to move her straight to boarding from the shelter to save her life. She's a really sweet and fun girl with people, not so much with other pets! Gracie needs to start Heartworm Treatment in a couple weeks and needs a home to do this so she can get comfortable and relax.  She's currently in Cochran, GA but transport can be arranged! show less

Kurt is looking for the perfect home. We think he is around 4 or 5 years old. He absolutely craves love and attention and enjoys giving big dogo hugs and kisses. He would do best in a home with a confident experienced adopter who would work with him on his training and provide him with plenty of exercise. He has not been reactive with other dogs and could possibly do well with a submissive female with proper introductions.  We do not recommend a home with cats, small dogs or small children. Kurt is a big love bug and would be so happy to be someone's adventure buddy. He is currently being fostered in Central Texas but would happily go on a road trip to the right forever home.  show less

Our Lizzie Baby is ready for adoption and looking for her forever home!! She is about 2 years old, and currently in Washington state with her AMAZING foster family and Dogo foster brother. Her foster family has worked so hard with her - she has been going through training and socializing and is becoming a very good girl! Lizzie Baby loves playing, running, cuddling, and chicken nuggets (who doesn’t?!) She is food motivated and willing to learn. Her ideal home would be one with a large yard and an extra tall fence (she can climb a chain link fence!) Lizzie Baby needs a family who has Dogo/large breed experience who will understand all of her quirks and needs. Someone who is extra patient with her as she is still learning. Lizzie Baby can be around male dogs if the family is very experienced. She is learning to be around cats, and is ok with them most of the time, but her ideal home would be one where she is the only pet and can receive all the attention. She is very loving, but we do not feel she would do best in a home with children at this time. show less
