Marty is a love bug! He is 100% lap dog.
Marty arrived in MA on Sept 26. Rescue transport and quarantine were very hard for him. But he has settled into his foster home very quickly. He has definately lived in a house before and he was very loved. Marty loves to sleep and eat. He is very much like his foster Mom! Marty is a dream in the car. He loves to walk on the leash and he is 100% potty trained.
Marty plays every day with a neighbor dog. The first day he was all snarls. Now they are best friends and play all day.
Marty loves to crawl on your lap and go to sleep. Marty tolerated his bath! He loves to run around after his bath. Marty does not mind the rain. He goes out and does his business regardless.
Marty may need to be groomed once or twice a year. He has a rough coat. His hair is very pretty.
Marty sleeps on a dog bed on his fosters Mom bed.
He is just starting to play with toys.

The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them the All American MUTT. Our dogs are rescued from various situations (kill-shelters, owner surrenders, strays, etc). It is most likely that both their parents were strays and mixes of some sort.
