My name is Flip but my foster family calls me Buddy or Buddy Boy. I am always wagging my tail and am the happiest boy. I am 9 weeks old and love playing and exploring but also snuggling on my soft bed. My foster family took me to a brewery and I was the best boy. I loved seeing all the people and other dogs. Id make the best sidekick! I'm doing well with paper training and learning my manners and my foster mom says I take my treats like a true gentleman. show less

  Hi I'm Germaine my foster mom calls me G. I am a 3 month old Lab mix with a whole bunch of cuteness! If you're looking for a handsome little puppy with a lot of personality well you found it! I know sit and come. I do my business outside but you just need to let me out like any other puppy. I'm getting the hang of the crate at night, my foster mom calls it night night time. I am skinny that's where my story comes in. I was found in Kentucky with my 3 brothers and sister we were so hungry, we were eating grubs to stay alive! Hello, it's me, Glen Coco! You may recognize my name from the iconic 2000's movie, Mean Girls, but not to worry, I'm a very nice boy! I was on death row for some time, as my previous owners told the people at Cheat Lake Animal Hospital that I was aggressive. However, after two months of being at CLAH and playing with other dogs, as well as a professional temperament test, the good humans of CLAH and CYP have determined I'm not at all aggressive. In fact, I'm the opposite! I play nicely with other dogs, have no interest in cats, am good with kids, and am all around a 100% good boy! I'm estimated to be about 5 years old. I'm up to date on vaccines and am neutered. I do need a lot of physical and mental stimulation because I've got A LOT of energy. I've also got A LOT of love to give. Inca My name is Inca! I’m a German Shepherd Dog, approximately 8-10yrs old, and 62lbs. I was found lying in the center of a busy roadway! I was so tired and sleepy that the people coming up the road thought I’d been hit and killed, but when they stopped to move me, I got up! I went right to them because they seemed friendly and they brought me to this place called a shelter. That’s where I am now, it kinda feels like jail but I didn’t do anything wrong! If I have owners, they never came for me, maybe I got too old to have puppies and they just didn’t want me anymore. I am pretty indifferent to other dogs, I prefer to just rest and relax. Im good on a leash. A low energy household would be best for me, without hyper dogs or kids, I wouldn’t hurt them but I would be more comfortable just chilling out with you. We are pretty petite, about 8 weeks old, and our breed is unknown, but we will be small/medium size when full grown and 100% cute 🐶 and 100% sweet! We love playing, eating, sleeping— just like your typical puppy! Hi my name is Lady. I am a shy and quiet older girl who is looking for a home that is laid back and doesn't yet have a furry companion. They say I am 10 years old. I am a very calm gal that loves just laying around. I think I would make a perfect fit for someone or some family who is looking to have a shadow, cause I'm going to follow you everywhere! Besides being the best sidekick, I also enjoy napping, snacking, and walking. I am well-behaved on a leash and get real happy right before it's time to go outside. I especially like to stop and smell the flowers, even if they sometimes make me sneeze :) And I am housetrained. When it's time for slumber, I'll sleep in bed if you let me, but I also don't mind being in a crate or on doggie bed nearby. I would do best in a home without other dogs. I am fine with older kids. My ears are super sensitive so they are off limits. I’ve been told an ear ablation might help, but because of my age the doctor is worried I might not survive the surgery. I’m so sorry that my ears got infected, and my old owner didn’t take me to the vet a long time ago. Due to this I am part of the "Forever Foster" program, so when I am adopted CYP will cover pre-existing conditions like my meds for my ears. All I want is to find my forever home where I can be loved, be a couch potato and not have anyone bother my ears so I can finish living out my golden years in peace. Hi there, my name is Maggie Mae. I am estimated to be about 5 years old and I am a Shar Pei mix. I have lived with a great family that loves me very much for the past 4 years, but unfortunately my 2 year old human brother makes me very nervous and to keep everyone safe, I have to be separated from him at all times. My family knows I am no longer happy in this environment and they want to give me the best life possible. I hope that a new family can open their hearts and home to me, because I am truly a special dog!  I am leashed trained with the help of a training collar, potty trained, crate trained, know all of my commands and am up to date on my vaccinations, although I really do not enjoy going to the vet…but honestly, who does!? I also love treats, laying in the sun, back scratches, cuddles and long walks because I have a lot of energy. I am a very nervous dog and it takes some time for me to warm up to strangers, but once I get to know you I am loyal, loving and will be your best friend! I do not get along with other dogs, cats or young children, so a home where it’s just me, and patient adults or older teenagers would be the only option for me. Please no exceptions with this.
