Bluey was rescued moments before she was to be euthanized at a shelter in Riverside due to over capacity. Bluey is approximately 2 years young.  She weighs 45 lbs and we believe she is fully grown.  Based on her gorgeous eyes and beautiful coat we think she is an Austrailian Cattle Dog mix.   Contrary to the breed Bluey is on the more mellow side.  She came in very shy almost as if she was a back yard dog and hadn't had much human touch.   Blueys foster says she is doing very well and she is learning how to walk on a leash, ride in a car, play with toy, loves to sun bathe and loves water.   She sleeps all night on her bed and is doing well with their smaller dog (she was kenneled at the shelter with 2 other dogs her same size).  Bluey would do well in almost any size home as long as she gets some exercise and is loved on.  Are you the right family for Bluey?   Bluey is ready to make some family very happy. Brooklyn was rescued from a shelter in San Bernardino.  Brooklyn (Brookie) is approximately 8 years old and weighs about 35 lbs.  Brookie is a semi feral dog.  we believe her breed is a Labrador/Dachschund Mix.  We have had her a while and never posted her because she is amazing with other dogs and she is who we use to temp test dogs and we have just let her be.   We have worked with her off and on but just recently we started working with her more because we have had the time to focus on her and she is making great progress.  We can pet her and leash her.  She is doing great on the leash.  Brooklyn will jump up on the couch and she will relax and we can pet her.   She takes treats from our hand and follows us around.   She will jump up on the back of our legs for attention.  She wants the attention and love so bad but doesn’t know how to receive it.  She jumps up on the bed and she will nudge my hand and roll over for me to pet her belly.  We are looking for an adopter for her that will take the time to work with her.  Brooklyn is a very special girl to us. She would do best in a home with at least one other dog and a yard.   Her best furfriend is Molly who is also available for adoption.  Brooklyn is ready to make some family very happy. Deegan was rescued from a high kill shelter in San Bernardino. Deegan is about 47 lbs and we think a Bull Dog mix.  He has short stubby legs and a very solid body frame.  He is very very sweet and loves people.  He was kenneled with other dogs his size.  He is intimiated by bigger dogs.   Deegan has superficial ouchies on his face because he didn't like the kennel environment.  He was not acclimating well with the noise of dogs barking and the chaos in the shelter.   But thankfully this will heal up just fine!    Deegan would be perfect in any size home and would make a great as a companion dog.     Deegan is ready to make some family very happy. He is a Siberian Husky mix, approx. 2 years young, weighs 51lbs.  Here’s what Everest’s foster family has to say about him:   -Dog-friendly, likes having a confident dog to look up to. He would love to have a furry brother or sister! -Medium energy, enjoys hikes & walks in quiet areas, but also enjoys couch cuddles. -Calm & relaxed in the car. Lola (previously named Lulu) is a six-year-old German Shepherd mix looking for a loving new home. She weighs roughly 60 pounds, is spayed, and is up-to-date on all her vaccinations. Lola is a high-energy, sweet, and loving dog who loves going for long walks/bike rides and chasing after her favorite tennis ball. She has basic obedience training, is house/potty trained, and can do well in a crate when needed. Lola needs a home where she can ideally be an only dog. She does not do well with cats. She would thrive with an experienced dog owner who lives an active lifestyle and can provide the love and attention she deserves. Molly was rescued from a shelter in San Bernardino.  Molly is approximately 6 years and weighs about 45 lbs.  We believe she is a Shepherd Mix.  Molly is working on her socialization with people. She is friendly just very shy.  She is amazing with other dogs and is very easy going.  Recently we have started working with her more and she is making great progress.  We can corner her in an area and can leash her.  She is doing great on walks.  We can get her on the couch with a leash and she will relax and we can pet her and love on her.   She takes treats from our hand and follows us around.  She is not a barker. Meet Shasta! This little cutie has been waiting to meet her forever family since January of 2020. She was rescued from Riverside shelter with a back injury that left her unable to go to the bathroom without assistance. Shasta may need a little extra care but the process is relatively quick and easy (we are happy to answer any questions). Shasta wears a cute diaper inside but can walk, run & play outside without! Shasta's perfect home is with a dog savvy family ready to commit to her care. She is getting really good at leash walking and is working really hard at seeing other dogs while out. She can be reactive at times so a home without children or pets would be best. Tala is a dog meat trade survivor who came to us all the way from South Korea to join the ARF pack in search of her furever home. Tala who is now Nala was previously adopted. This majestic girl is now 5 yrs old and weighs 45 lbs. Nalas whole life has been turned upside down. After 4 years and 8 months of being in what she thought would be her forever home,  her previous adopter was no longer "able/willing" to give her the attention she needed. Nala will be very shy at first (understandably), she loves to be out doors and her owner use to run with her for miles and miles a day.   The previous adopter got married and they had kids and Nala was then put aside.  She became unsocialized with the kids and she is very nervous and scared around kids and just wanted to be outside in her space.  Nala also became leash aggressive around dogs out on the street, however she lives with another dog.   Nala is very smart, she is well behaved, house trained and just needs a home that will make her apart of the family.  We contacted our trainer and he said its best that when she gets re-adopted and if she is still having the same leash issue for the the new adopters to take her to a trainer they feel comfortable with and work with that trianer and Nala together so that they are all on the same page working with her.  Nala is not mean or aggressive towards people, trainer feels this is her acting out for not getting the attention or exercise she once had.   ARF is willing to help with her training.  Nala is available for adoption now so if you would like to be making memories with this beautiful girl, please complete an application: http://petstablished.com/adoption_form/4362/generic show less

Timmy was rescued from San Bernardino Shelter and he was brought in as a stray. Timmy is approximately 2 years young and weighs 54 lbs. He is smaller in size but has a solid build. Based on his gorgeous eyes we believe his breed to be Husky and he has spotted feet and smaller in size so thinking maybe a little Cattle Dog.  He has a great energy about him, he is not a hyper boy.  He does well with other dogs and people.  He will be shy at first but warms up quickly.   Timmy would make a great companion dog/best furiend. Wylie is an owner surrender due to not enough time for him.  Wylie is approximately 9 months young and 32lbs.  He was just freshly groomed and he is gorgeous!   We assume his breed to be Poodle/Labradoodle Mix.   He is gentle and sweet.   Played well with the kids in the house before and did good with other dogs big and small.    Wylie is learning about the leash and is doing good!  We think its his first introcduction to dog treats & toys and he is thinking they are pretty neat!    He sleeps all night in crate next to fosters bed.  Wylie would make a great companion dog!      Wylie is ready to make some family very happy.
