About Autumn
Autumn is super sweet girl who loves to snuggle and play! She has plenty of puppy energy, but she’s happy to relax with her humans on the couch as long as she gets some time throughout the day to get her wiggles out. She is great with other dogs and loves to wrestle and zoom around the yard with her brother, Winter. She respects the boundaries of the older dog in her foster home who doesn’t always appreciate energetic pups. She’s been known to chase a ball, but mostly to entice Winter to play with her. She is cautious in new situations but once she feels comfortable, her lovable personality shines through.
Autumn is still a puppy and can be nippy and jumpy when she’s excited, but she settles down quickly. She is a very smart pup who responds well to voice corrections and treat training. She is making progress with her potty training, and she is just starting to learn how to walk on a leash. She does bark a bit when she notices real (and sometimes imaginary) new things in her environment. For this reason (and for potty training), she would definitely benefit from having a crate in her new home. She has a crate in her foster home, and she feels comfortable sleeping there through the night and when her foster family can’t hang out in the same room with her.
She loves all the kids she’s been meeting in her foster home. She also shares her foster home with a person who has a wheelchair (which doesn’t bother her at all). If you have room in your heart (and on your lap!) for new canine friend, Autumn would love to meet you!
is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. (puppies under the age of 6 months may not be sterilized prior to adoption, if this is the case your adoption coordinator will discuss the process with you).
