Meet Bandit! Smokie and Bandit are a bonded pair who are needing a home. They are both 8yr old, Lab/Husky Mix and weigh about 100lbs each.  Both are neutered and up to date on shots. We were told by current owner that they get along well with other dogs and kids...not sure about cats because theyve never been around them. Theyve been around cattle their whole life and do well with them. They are both housetrained and very loyal, loving dogs. show less

Unfortunate story - these precious rescued seniors are about to lose their human to end stage liver Cancer.   She has asked APAAP to find homes for her very active 12-year old babies.  The smaller is a Corgi mix (Mattie) and 12 pounds the other is a JRT mix (Cookie) and 23 pounds.  Both are VERY SWEET and bonded. She says they are properly vetted and are in good health.  She is praying they will be able to stay together and I’ve told her we would do our best to do that for her - I just could NOT say no to this woman.   They are good with other dogs and quickly picked up how to use the dog door at their foster's home.
