Mack (aka Tux - notice his markings) is a super sweet; gorgeous, stunning, well behaved, ~70+ pounds of love! Half of Mack's Adoption Fee has been SPONSORED by a generous donor, Just $150 to adopt this Handsome Hunk!!   He is good with other dogs, cats and kids!  The trifecta!  He seems to gravitate towards kids and wants to be with them; just make sure the kiddos are older (~10+) becuase of his size.  He wouldn't want to accidently knock down a smaller child with his love and affection.  He was very afraid of his foster family's cats (kind of cute and funny) when he first arrived. He is becoming more interested in them and will chase in play but easily redirected. Mack could be an only dog, but he'd probably be happier with some fun, playful siblings. He does well with other dogs and is submissive even with his larger size. He is going to be an awesome addition to a full house!    Mack would love to be in a home with an active family where he could be outside a lot. He would really, really like a 5ft+ fenced yard to run, zommie, and romp around in!  He likes playing with toys, some good ole tug-o-war (he typically gives up first) and playing with other dogs.  He likes grabbing a stuffie and pulling and tugging on it with his foster furry family members.  Mack likes to use his voice and "chat" with his furry foster siblings...he has cute vocals. He wouldn't be a perfect fit for apartment or condo for these reasons.   Mack is house trained but not really crate trained.  He has selected a favorite chair and a dog bed that he finds much more to his liking. He is well behaved and happy in his home environment.  He would be happy curled up in front of a roaring fire or on the sofa after a good play time. Mack would love someone who works from home/home most of the time, so he could have loads of attention.   Mack loves the car and would be happy with a family that is on the go!  Do you travel and need a companion, do you have a RV and go many places and camp then Mack may be the pup for you!  He loves to go with you and would be a great camping/hiking buddy as he loves to exercise. He does have some seperation anxiety, and will chew things if left alone on ocassion (he is almost never alone) so even more reason to take him with you!  Plus, when you are out and about, he is good on a leash and well behaved.  He is a GEM!    DOB 02/26/2017 male Pit and Border Collie mix. Maggie has a big heart and is ready to give someone her love unconditionally to and she will do it in return!  Maggie wants nothing more than a person to love her as much as she loves them. She has the best puppy dog eyes that will melt way any bad day you may have!  Come meet Maggie at Heritage Animal Hospital; upon arrival she will shake your hand, give you a sweet hug or provide you some much needed slobbery kisses. Once the initial introductions are completed, a good ole belly rub will do the trick.  Speaking of tricks, Maggie already knows things like SIT and STAY. (DOB 11/13/2022) Mason loves to meet new people and other dogs, he is a social butterfly, and he is always ready for a good time. He is also good with kiddos! He’s convinced everyone needs to be his new best friend—except cats. He thinks cats are super fun to chase. He has a big smile that is contegious.   He loves to be outside and is interested in everything he sees.  He would thrive in a home with a large, fenced yard where he can explore and play.  Alternatively, if no fenced yard, doggie daycare or multiple long walks per day would also provide him with the mental stimulation and physical exercise he needs.  He would benefit significantly from a puppy manners class to learn not to jump on people and to walk calmly on a leash - training is an excellent way to bond with him. He is super eager to please and treat motivated.        He doesn’t seem to know what toys are, so he would love a family willing to teach him all about doggie toys and how fun it is to play fetch or tug of war … and how to settle in and enjoy all the warmth and comfort of snuggles.  He does have a bit of a wild side and might accidentally knock down little kids who cannot keep up with his energy, so bigger kids are best.   His crate training has been going great - he loves to have his own little den to snuggle up in after he’s had his fill of playtime. He's also a smart cookie, and already knows how to sit on command.   In summary, our boy is the life of the party, ready to make new friends and have the time of his life. My name is Mozz and I have a SUPER POWER!   Yes - I really do!   I make people laugh!  Making people laugh, smile and feel good is the best super pawer of them all!!!  Foster family laughs at me all the time because I am hillarious.  If they aren't laughing, they are smiling.  I am quite the funny boy!  Really... I am... they say things like "Mozz, you crack me up!", "Mozz, you are a riot", "Mozz, you are such a goof ball!"   It makes me so happy to see them happy! Nacho is a very sweet and energetic little boy who wants to be in everything you are are doing. He will try to help turn lights on / off, sweep the floor, clean the litter box and all kinds of stuff. He loves to play and he really enjoys a cat tree near a window so he can see what is happening. He does well with other cats but has never been around dogs. He is still young so he would probably be fine with children as long as proper introductions are done and supervision is done.  He is UTD on all age appropriate shots, negative for FIV / FeLV and neutered. Oliver is a sweet and loving little man. He likes snuggles and rubs but does not like to be picked up. He still plays on occasion but prefers just sitting and laying around keeping a watch over his domain. He loves his cat tree which puts him up in the air so he can see what’s happening. Oliver does well with the other cats he currently lives with—— one of which he has grown up with (Houdini).  He will do fine as an only cat, with another cat-friendly cat, or with his buddy.  He does not like dogs so he needs a home with no dogs and no intentions of getting a dog.  He also would do best in a home without babies or small children. (DOB 8/29/2019) What we know now; He is a gentle giant. Dog-friendly with dogs of all sizes. People-friendly, but may be too much for little kids. Super handsome, Otra, is an Akita mix and is the goofiest most well natured boy you’ll meet! He weighs around 95 pounds and is such a gorgeous fluffy boy.    Otra is great on leash, is crate trained, and is house trained. Otra lovessss other dogs, sometimes too much for their liking. He loves chasing his doggy friends' tails, which can sometimes annoy them. When he gets corrected, he gets so sad. He is essentially a 90lbs puppy. His ideal home would be one where he has a doggy friend to play with and preferably a fenced in yard.    Otra is a very loving boy. He is very playful and is mouthy during his playtime. He will give you his paw to trick you into putting your hand within reach so he can chew on it. It is adorable and not malicious in any way, but his future family must know about this and be okay with it!    Otra has a degenerative eye condition and will continue to lose his vision over time. Patches has sent a letter to Sandy-Paws telling him how much she wants her new family for Christmas!!  This sweetheart deserves her very own loving family!   Patches has the biggest, most infectious smile! Patches is a good companion in the car and well behaved. Wanna grab a coffee and a Pup-o-chino or ice cream, Patches is happy to join you!  This girl is a road trip fanatic!  She loves everyone she meets and vice versa. Patches is really a big velcro dog and loves to be right with you. She will definitely lean right into you for some rubs and snuggles.   Patches has been to doggie daycare, and she does well with all the other dogs and humans.  She has a lot of energy so other playful pups in her adoptive family will be awesome!  Patches will need a home with fence because she has a lot of energy and wants to run around and play.  Patches could be an only pup or in a family with another sweet, playful and fun furry sibling(s). Hi, my name is Peter Pan and just like my namesake, I an a free-spirited and mischievous young boy, but in a good way. My small size makes me seem charmingly impish andI love to make flying leaps from the top of my scratching post onto my unsuspecting sister and foster friends.  I “hunt” for feather toys and wands, proudly bringing back to my foster mom to show her my skill as a great hunter.  I thrive on great adventures but like having my sister around as she keeps me out of trouble and I like to sit in the window or at the top of  my scratching post so I can alert everyone to any dangers that maybe lurking outside.  I don’t go outside, I just look for danger for the safety of my inside perch.   When  my exploring is done, I love to snuggle up in my mom’s lap or with my other foster feline friends to take my nap.  .  I am outgoing and very sociable with other cats, but haven’t had experiences with dogs or small children.  Since I am on the smaller side, I think I would prefer a home with older children and/or other cats for me to play with.  I am always full of purrs and love sitting in your lap as you read or watch TV.  I am learning that mom’s desk isn’t a play ground but if I sit quietly or nap on the corner, I watch her type emails and sometimes offer my opinions on the subject matter at hand.
