Allegiance is an enthusiastic and lively pup who absolutely adores playing ball and sprinting around. He has a great rapport with other dogs and is incredibly intelligent, making excellent strides with obedience training. Toys, balls, chews, and stuffed animals are amongst his favorite things. Although he can get a little too excited during mealtimes, he waits patiently for his turn and never shows any hostility. In fact, he is so food motivated that he has been doing wonderfully with some hand-feeding training, demonstrating remarkable gentleness. His leash training is also going splendidly, and he is even quite comfortable with baths and water. While he still has much to learn, Allegiance is making fantastic progress and has enormous potential. He's incredibly curious and loves to explore, but we've had to limit his access to the first floor for now as he has a habit of investigating everything with his mouth. However, with more toys and focused play, he's become more engaged and less prone to doing this.  He's a good sleeper and does well in his crate at night, although he does need a bit of a bribe to go in initially. He does have a bit of a prey drive, but can be easily distracted with the right motivation. The biggest challenge we're facing with him is his jumping and impulse control, so young children may not be the best fit for him.   While he seems to be okay with cats at the vet's office, we're not entirely sure how he would do with them running around. He's had limited interactions with small dogs, but seems to do fine with them. Ideally, he needs someone with experience in training Malinois/Dutch Shepherds or rescue dogs, and an active lifestyle would be a perfect match for him.   All MAD dogs come with a Fi Collar and one-year subscription.  If you are interested in adopting this pet please complete an application at this link  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/24689/generic.  We are an official 501c3 organization that does not have a physical location. Scully update: Scully is going to be someone's best friend and their heart dog! Scully is a gentle sould who loves nothing more than being near her favorite person. She is enjoying being able to snuggle and get away from the chaos of her sisters. Scully is super interested in learning, she is curious and calculated. Scully is happy to survey the chaos and then get involved when she has had enough of the noise. Scully will be adventurous, ready to explore with her person and is looking for the loop to her hook of the Velcro! Scully enjoys you lap, a bench right next to you or at your feet, she will thrive in a house who allows her to be with her family always.   Area 51 baby girl Scully is the leader of the pack. While it is still to be seen whether she is an alpha or not, she definatley has the confidence and drive to do something amazing and be the boss. This girl is going to be a fiercly loyal, intellegent and a fun loving doggo. Curious about toys and games, Scully isnt shy about seeking attention, affection or engagment. Scully will thrive where she is engaged and respected for the dutchie that she is. She is a rough houser at heart, medium to high drive and drivey. Scully has met resident dogs and was quick to bark and show them who was boss, she was not scared and did not back down from the new experience. As soon as she realized they were friends, she was quick to engage in play and has a zest for her new start. Scully and her family were dumped at a shelter at 3 weeks old. They were not left with their momma so they are catching up on learning how to be dogs. She is quick to pick up on cues from other doggos. Scully does have a long road to recover, but her glow up will be stunning. Stay tuned for more info on Scully as we get to know her and she decompresses All MAD dogs come with a Fi GPS Collar and one-year subscription! Ash is a beautiful female Dutch Shepherd who is looking for a gentle, patient and loving home! She is a bit shy in new environments and will need help with confidence building.  She will do best in a home with dogs! She loves them and is a super confident, playful dog! Without dogs in the home, she becomes a bit more insecure and needs more time to warm up, so we are looking for fur-siblings for her! She is a huge cuddler and just wants love and kindness.  She has a good nose on her so she might do well in nose work or barn hunt! She will learn to trust and decompress at her foster's home and then hopes to find her forever home who can show her the world! Hi everyone they have named me Bruno around these parts and I'm as friendly as they come. I get along well with all children and do good with both small and big dogs. I have a low prey drive so I'm told, but I don't even know what "prey" is. I do like to chew things when I'm bored, but only things mom says are safe for me to have. I really don't care much for toys or treats but I do enjoy chewing soft toys when bored or alone. The occasional beef trachea is nice too. I'm the goodest of boys, and I even get along with my not so nice foster sister(she's always moody). My rents have human pups from the ages of 1 year old to 10 years old and so far I like them all! My foster grandma has a chihuahua and even though he is bossy and tries to intimidate me I am still nice to him when he comes to visit. We get along well and I only get upset when he tries to take my treats from my kennel. I'm house trained and I'll go into a kennel if you need me to. I'm a little nervous on tile/plank flooring but mom says so was my foster sister and ill grow out of it with training. I also don't like bathing very much but my foster mom says I'll get used to it eventually also , so for her I tolerate my bath time patiently. I walk calmly on a leash and rarely to never pull. Mom says I'm handsome. She always says I'm the sweetest Belgian Malinois she's ever met! Apparently that means a lot because mom has been around tons of dogs like me. I'm looking for a permanent family to call my own. I'd love to snuggle you , enjoying your company if you'll have me? Thank you for reading and feel free to reach out to ask my foster mom or my adoption counselor about any additional questions or concerns. Buddy is a Belgian Malinois that does not appear to want anything besides to please. He is very friendly and thrives for attention, with a mischevious energetic streak that periodically makes an appearance. He appears to be maybe 4 years old, and is entirely praise driven. He is neutered and fully up to date on vaccines. Is Buddy right for you or your pack? He would thrive in a multi-dog household, or a single dog household-he's fairly indifferent. He doesn’t appear to be toy motivated and simply thrives on praise.  If you are interested in adopting this dog, please complete an application at this link https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/24689/generic .  We are an official 501C3 organziation that does not have a physical location. Chiron (pronounced Kie-ron) is a 1 year old male dog that is just gorgeous. He has medium to high energy and is lots of fun. He is small at just 48 lbs. We just received him so we are learning a lot about him. He will be neutered and UTD on vaccines prior to adoption. We will update this post as he decompresses in his new location and we start seeing that personality of his shine! In astrology, Chiron is commonly referred to as the “wounded healer.” Where Chiron is placed in your chart can point to where you have the potential to overcome pain from your past and in turn heal others. This Chiron has stumbled upon rough times, ending up in the shelter, but he is ready to be part of your family and to love and be loved and to be healed and to help heal your heart too.  ***************************************** All MAD dogs come with a Fi GPS Collar and one-year subscription! Let me tell you a little story about MAD Fury aka Foo-Foo, Monkey, Munchkin, Pumpkin, Jelly Bean, Gremlin: She was scheduled to die. The shelter didn’t understand her trauma. Being on the street as a smaller dog is tough. She had to learn how to survive and she’s very good at it. It translates in her being very vocal about needing her space - from people and dogs. It worked, she survived … until she was caught! MAD took her in because we saw more than the scared scary dog. And she is SO much more!! She’s been on a journey with her foster from Idaho to Utah to Colorado and currently in Washington. She adjusts really well to new places and an inconsistent schedule. She’s been the easiest foster when it comes to house manners and off leash hiking! She’s perfect in the house (aside from the occasional snatching of food on counter). She makes the cutest face when she wants something. You can just look at her and she starts wiggling her tail! She will patiently wait for your return and be so excited to see you…whether you’re gone for a minute or 5 hours! She will make you feel loved! She has worked on her resource guarding and she’s a lot better. She’s learning to wait for her food. However, this needs to be taken into consideration when you have other dogs. Although she’s very vocal she never gets into a serious fight with her foster fur sister. They have a perfect dynamic which she will need in her forever home - she needs a sibling who is neutral, confident and non-reactive. She needs a sibling who won’t fight her over a toy or food but rather walks away. She will need a sibling who is confident enough to not get bothered by her display when they meet - she demands boundaries through bark and hackling up. However, after about 30 min she will engage in play. She loves wrestling and playing tug-a-war with her fur brother!! She would love a furry friend! She just needs time to warm up and know that the other dog isn’t a threat!  Even though she can look like an evil gremlin when she bares her teeth and hackles up, it’s all show. That’s how she talks, plays and asks for space. She loves chewing on hands and tries to move your hands around when she plays. She doesn’t have a soft mouth but she also doesn’t want to hurt. That’s just how she plays and communicates. Yes, she may bark and hackle up at people to create distance but really she wants cuddles and love…she just needs to make sure you’re safe and to be trusted. She needs someone who understands her and advocates for her! She is great in crowds and can walk through it without any issue…she mostly just gets intimidated when someone pays attention to her. Please understand where she is coming from, she may never be that friendly super social dog. She's met dogs on hikes and after a bit of walking together she does well but proper introductions are a must.  At home, she is perfect. While her foster mom works from home, she sleeps, sometimes comes to get pets. She’s just perfect as a buddy for your work at home time! She is territorial like all working breeds and will bark at anything outside the house/car/fence, so if you like a protective dog, she's your girl.  She loves going on outings and has no problem going on 8 hours derives cross country! She loves sticking her head out the window! She loves putting her head on a shoulder creeping forward to give kisses. Sometimes she jumps in the trunk to yell at the wipers. She loves water and hikes! She loves running around in the forest, at the beach, in a field etc and will need that in her future! When she starts running at full speed she looks like a torpedo dashing through the field/woods! She has great recall - absolutely loves running back to her hooman! She always seeks out water and is a strong swimmer. She will need someone active - biking would be fun for her, possibly - she needs to run! She will also need a yard - you don’t want too experience her zoomies in an apartment. She’s praise, love, food and toy motivated! She has tried Scent work and the trainer was astounded by her natural talent!!! She would thrive in that world! She's currently trying out Barn Hunt...she's a bit spooked by the rat in the cage and the new environment but is warming up to it.  Things she is learning: sit, down, place, come, stay, off, touch, break. She doesn’t like to be in a submissive position like down…so that’s going a bit slower. Waiting before exciting house/car. Waiting her turn. Sitting to get collar/leash on. Heel - she’s pretty good on leash but doesn’t have a pretty heel. Auto sit in heel. Quirks: she doesn’t like to get picked up and can panic, so slowly getting her used to that. Terrible with nail clipping. Has lots of energy to burn so sometimes she just runs back and forth in the house. She makes a lot of noises. She barks at the car window closing/opening. She whips her head around when a fast truck goes by. She loves giving kisses but please be warned she doesn’t ask for consent and is quite intense with her loving! Absolute Velcro dog - will follow you into the shower and lick you dry after. Barks and hackels at strange dogs and people as well as when she is excited and in play mode.  She is so ready for a loving home who understands her and wants to love her. Someone who can see past her tough “pufferfish” (hackles, bark) exterior and learn about the sweet, loving dog underneath! She deserves a home where she can thrive! She needs an experienced handler who can set her up for success.  This home should be experienced with working breeds, have no kids or prey animals.
