Bailey is still waiting. This lovely, middle-aged girl had become depressed and shut down at the shelter. It’s almost like she knew her chance of making it out. alive was not so great. But when we saw her face, we knew we wanted to help. She’s now in a loving foster home and proving herself to be a very good dog. She’s kid friendly, housetrained, and walks nicely on leash. She’s fine with other large dogs as long as there’s a proper introduction. (She was kenneled with another dog at the shelter.) She does have a little bit of prey drive, so we recommend no small animals in her forever home. We believe she is a lab shepherd mix and she’s roughly 90 pounds. Please consider adding beautiful Bailey to your life. show less

Betty White was found in the heat and suffering from severe wounds. She is recoving nicely and will be going home from the hospital to a foster home this week. The doctor thinks she is a purebred bulldog and roughly 3-4 years old. More information to come on this sweet girl as she continues her healing journey, she is looking for her forever family in Los Angeles. show less

Bizkit is a perfect boy with a beautiful smile. He’s been with us a while and, his fosters were thinking of keeping him. But due to a drastic change in their schedules, they decided that he would do better in another home that has more time to spare. He is a 50 lbs two year old pitbull mix who we rescued from the shelter with a badly broken leg. His leg has been expertly repaired and he’s good as new. He is housetrained I’m good with both big and little dogs. He’s playful and very loving and deserves a forever home to call his own.  show less

Meet Chase!  Such an easy dog in so many ways. We wish people would see past his “stranger danger” issues and give him a chance. He’s a six-year-old boy who does great with all dogs from 5 pounds to 85 pounds. He is house trained, walks well on leash and is not destructive in the home.  Chase: I know I may be a little weird, I know I may be nervous around new people, and I know someone’s gonna need some patience getting to know me. But, once they do they’ll see I am a great guy. I’m good with all dogs, I have zero anxiety, I love sleeping in my crate, I love going for walks, I love just laying around the house. I don’t destroy anything, I have no bad habits. I’m just a good guy who is a little weird. I’m hoping that my person sees this post and opens their heart to a dog that may not be perfect but is pretty damn close. show less

Her name is dahlia  She is about 2  9 lbs Found as a stray in Victor valley In rough shape  She had been attacked- Either by a coyote Or another dog. Her throat was ripped open and other massive wounds. Even put in a feeding tube while she healed.  They repaired all the injuries and she is good (She just has to eat soft food so it’s easy on her throat) She is now 100%_ her tail is wagging all the time.  She's a lap warmer/couch potato, potty time buddy she will follow you around. She pees on the potty pads but also goes good outside. She loves toys! She loves Dogs, Kids, People  All around great dog         show less

Jackie has been with us a long while and is way overdue for a forever home of her own.  This is gorgeous, highly intelligent and sensitive dog has been spending some quality time with Darian to work on the nervousness she feels when meeting new people. I’m sure anyone with some social anxiety can relate (new people can be scary!). It’s not a big deal, and it shouldn’t be a dealbreaker. It just requires the right person to help her feel safe and comfortable when meeting people. Darian came up with a greeting protocol for her which has been very helpful. So, when meeting Jackie for the first time, you offer her a treat, ask her to sit and down, and then take her for a quick walk to the corner and back. That’s pretty much all it takes to get this girl to know that you’re A-OK. Once Jackie gets to know you she’s truly the sweetest most loving dog. And - she is excellent with other dogs both large and small. She has been a foster here with me and @saschasudikova and done well in both homes. She is a three year old, heeler mix who is housetrained and crate trained. She loves going for hikes and lounging by your feet. Her perfect home would have someone that’s familiar with the breed and is open to working with a shy dog. She would also have another balanced dog to romp and play with. She is easy-going and has medium energy is so a nice long walk in the morning or a gentle hike would be great and if he walks in the neighborhood during the day. A quieter home with no kids under 13 would probably be best. She was rescued from death row at the 11th hour (literally). We really ❤️ this girl and can’t wait to see her in the perfect home. She truly deserves it.  show less

Jesse sadly has encountered what many people refer to as “black dog syndrome”. #blackdogs are often the last to be adopted. Black dogs are my personal favorite - I have three in my family. I hope someone can see past this and realize what a great, happy go lucky, playful girl this is. She is a six month old border collie mix, who does well with other dogs (large and small), she is very playful and energetic, and would do best with an active family. Gorgeous Mickey cannot seem to catch a break. This A++ doggy day care, #redhusky is such a good boy. Due to circumstances beyond his control, he was returned to us many months ago. And — because the shelters are full of incredible huskies, he hasn’t been able to find his forever humans. Mickey is a pretty laid-back guy. He loves going for hikes and walks, but he could just as easily chill out with you for a lazy weekend. He is good with all dogs, large and small, good in the car, and very gentle and sweet. We’re truly hoping that his a person sees this post and puts in an application. We promise you’ll be rewarded with love and loyalty and lots of fun adventures. show less
