About Area 51 litter- Scully located at in CO

Adoption Fee: $550.00 - under 12 Months Old Fee (2023 fee)

Scully update: Scully is going to be someone's best friend and their heart dog! Scully is a gentle sould who loves nothing more than being near her favorite person. She is enjoying being able to snuggle and get away from the chaos of her sisters. Scully is super interested in learning, she is curious and calculated. Scully is happy to survey the chaos and then get involved when she has had enough of the noise. Scully will be adventurous, ready to explore with her person and is looking for the loop to her hook of the Velcro! Scully enjoys you lap, a bench right next to you or at your feet, she will thrive in a house who allows her to be with her family always.

Area 51 baby girl Scully is the leader of the pack. While it is still to be seen whether she is an alpha or not, she definatley has the confidence and drive to do something amazing and be the boss. This girl is going to be a fiercly loyal, intellegent and a fun loving doggo. Curious about toys and games, Scully isnt shy about seeking attention, affection or engagment. Scully will thrive where she is engaged and respected for the dutchie that she is. She is a rough houser at heart, medium to high drive and drivey. Scully has met resident dogs and was quick to bark and show them who was boss, she was not scared and did not back down from the new experience. As soon as she realized they were friends, she was quick to engage in play and has a zest for her new start.

Scully and her family were dumped at a shelter at 3 weeks old. They were not left with their momma so they are catching up on learning how to be dogs. She is quick to pick up on cues from other doggos. Scully does have a long road to recover, but her glow up will be stunning. Stay tuned for more info on Scully as we get to know her and she decompresses

Update 12/2/23:  Looking for a new best pal for you and your dog(s)?  Brisket could be your perfect choice!  Just six months old, this handsome, spunky guy absolutely loves playing with his foster sisters, teasing them by taking their toys or romping and wrestling with them in the snow.  And while he is energetic, he also has a solid down switch, and enjoys chewing on a favorite bone or just cozying up on his favorite dog bed.  He is still a bit wary of new people, but it doesn’t take him long to lick their hand and approach them. Brisket is a total love-bug, and frequently comes running for pets and caresses.  He adores being cuddled and just hanging out close to his foster parents.  Outside, when not playing with his sisters, he is playing tug with his foster mom and dad, learning to chase balls or on the sniff, searching out mice or interesting scents in the ground.  He may be a good candidate for scent work! Brisket is fantastic with kids; he just adores them!  He has been tested once with neighborhood cats, and showed some mild chase interest in one who ran, and was completely bored with the one who just sat and looked at him, so it is very likely that he can be in a home with dog savvy cats with a bit of training.  He absolutely loves his play with other dogs, and will likely do best with another playful dog in the household.  Brisket is house-broken and crate trained. During the day he is fine in his crate with a treat-filled kong or big bone for up to 2.5 to 3 hours during the day.  But he is a puppy, and has shown anxiety when crated too long due to his past, so staying in his crate all day is not an option for him.   He sleeps quietly in his crate at night for 8-9 hours, usually without a potty break, and whimpers softly if he needs to go outside to potty.  He knows the basic commands of “sit”  “down” and “come,” with treat rewards and is improving in his overall recall and ability to “leave it.”    Being a puppy, does chew on objects other than his toys.  He is not excessive in his chewing, but is drawn to socks and material, occasionally swallowing some, so he needs to be in a house with someone who is home to care for and watch him, other than periodic crating, until he matures out of the puppy chewing stage.  He is already getting better with this though, but needs more time.    Ready for a dog with the perfect blend of energy, intelligence and affectionate nature?  Brisket may be your perfect pup! Cagney fka as Leila, came into rescue from a shelter situation with another dog and was hospitalized due to a severe upper respiratory infection that she survived! She is fully recovered and ready for her furrever home. She is approximately age 14 month and  is spayed and up-do-date on vaccinations. She's a high energy girl, but does not show much tug or ball drive. She may not have ever been introduced to either. She does have a high prey drive towards livestock. Will chase cattle.. doesn’t show herding instinct.. lol. Just scatter. Frenzy type work. Small dogs, cats, chickens, etc.. are all a no go..  She is super friendly, over zealous at times. Would probably be too much for children. When over stimulated becomes jumpy and nippy.  She's been working on barrier reactivity... and showing improvement.  Cagney likes other dogs,  though currently she can play rough and can be a bit dog selective. She is food motivated! Kennel/crate trained. Extremely nervous still in house. But will eventually be fine. Has a sweet personality. Is a quick study!! Wants a job, wants to learn!! Lots of things still to unpack with this girl!! Callie is a young female dog about 3 years old that had been stuck in boarding after she was pulled from a shelter's euth list. She is now in her foster's home in the Ft. She is good with people and other dogs. Currently intact, she will be spayed and UTD on vaccines prior to transport to her new home.  Callie loves people and loves attention! She is such a good-natured soul! She is good with other dogs and would love to learn how to play with toys and would enjoy long walks and cuddles on the sofa. She will be an excellent companion and best friend. Callie will need a tall solid fence or be on leash when she is outside until she bonds and learns her boundaries. She can jump a 6' chainlink. Cumo currently located in the Atlanta GA area is a 1-2 year old neutered male Belgian Malinois. He was brought into safety by MAD Rescue from the shut down of the Malinois Ranch Rescue in Tennessee where he endured deplorable conditions.   He was underweight, HW positive and infested with worms. His worn down teeth, partial ear, and smashed foot tell a story of neglect and pain that we will never understand. You would never know it when meeting him. Once he was safe with MAD his foster mom said he really enjoyed his bath and he is good with you petting and touching him all over. He thinks water is fun. He is super friendly, dog neutral and would love to have a dog friend similar in size and energy to play with.  He is learning just how to be a dog.  He is housebroken, crate trained, rides beautifully in a car tethered or in a crate. He knows some basic commands like sit, down, kennel and has no resource guarding tendencies. He lived a good part of his life in a kennel and loves to sleep and rest in the comfort and safety of his crate. He loves balls, snuggling, belly rubs and loves to be included and near his person. He is eager to please, food motivated and seems to have a pretty good nose.    He is now clear of all parasites, up to date on his vaccines and received his last heartworm injection on 10/30/23.  Cumo's special gift is that he loves raw vegetables. He said he never experienced such delicious food and is all in on: carrots, bell peppers, broccoli, baby tomatoes, pureed pumpkin.  Cumo has a decent prey drive so small animals and cats would not be a match for him.  He also counter surfs if given the opportunity.  He has a thing for pillows and needs to be given safe outlets for his chewing.  He is strong but does good when using a pinch collar on walks.    What Cumo needs is you. He needs someone that will be patient with him as they continue to uncover his fun personality and help him erase the past.  He would do great in a home that has a yard where he could play outside but just for a few minutes because he just wants to be inside with you.  He never lived inside and MAD has showed him just a glimpse of the life he will get to have with his forever family.  Is that you?     If you are interested in adopting this pet please complete an application at this link https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/24689/generic.  We are an official 501c3 organization that does not have a physical location.
