Meet Beignet she is a very sweet 7 to 9 month old, deaf and mostly blind mixed Lab dog. She is very sweet and gets along with other dogs and cats and would love to have a guide dog in her new home. She is 90% potty trained, sleeps in a pen at night and knows how to use a doggie door.  Beignet also knows to go to her mat at meal times and wait for her food. Sometimes she gets a little excited and knocks her bowl over. She also knows when you touch the top of her head to sit. When she needs a little assurance and guidance she gets between her foster mom’s legs and follows her. She loves chewing on bully sticks and playing with squeak toys. Benny is a mixed breed handsome fella about 4 years old who prefers a quieter home and does best as an only-dog. He prefers to meet new people outside first and then does well with them inside. He is very cuddly to his people and enjoys car rides and adventures. He loves lounging in the sunshine, barking at the deer in the field, and getting the zoomies all around his yard. He's a country boy at heart and would prefer the quieter life in the country. Apartment life and busy city life is not for him.  He should go to a home with older kids and no other dogs. This little 15 lb, 2-year-old Doxy mix, Buxton, is a true joy to be around. Big and small, everyone falls in love with him. He is a delight to watch as he finds his toy bin, food bowl and knows when you are in the room. Being deaf and vision impaired has not hindered his little spirit at all.  He loves attention and is happy to lay in your lap or beside you. He loves children and other dogs.  He is fine in a crate and is working on housetraining and leash walking.  He’s smart and has learned to come up the steps and through the doggy door after pottying.  Buxton is a happy and very lovable companion who would prefer a home with another friendly dog. Thankfully the amazing ACOs had rescued her and her companions just in the nick of time. While these all male babies are only a few weeks old, we will be accepting applications for pre-approval. They will not be able to go home until they are 10-12 weeks. Applications will be accepted for a puppy from this litter, not a specific one. Meet Orbit, a 1 year old Smooth Coat Border Collie with constant wiggles! Orbit has spent his entire life outside with very little socialization, but he's ready to learn and is LOVING getting to be an inside dog. He's doing well with crate and house training. He LOVES exploring, getting to know his puppy foster brother, smelling new smells, and goes absolutely bananas for a ball or frisbee to play with. He's going to make an amazing fetch companion for a lucky family! Orbit is very high energy and will need a home that can give him enough exercise and stimulation, plus a little bit of patience in helping him learn how to be a dog. He would excel at sports like flyable or toss and fetch, freestyle, agility or likely dock diving. He has incredible speed like nothing we have ever seen. This 1 year old gentle soul loves all people and other dogs and after being in a knowledgeable amazing foster home for the last few months, walks well on leash, is housebroken and crate trained, and knows some basic obedience commands. Panda is soft and loving towards his people, and even adores children. We would love for him to go to a home with previous Husky experience, or large breed dog experience. Panda is true to the Husky breed and while he may do okay with very dog-savvy cats with proper training and slow introductions, a home without experience doing this should not have cats.
