Meet Adele: Adele is a 17 week old (as of May 16, 2023) Lab / Hound mix (best guess) that weighs about 20 pounds. Adele and her sister (Alissa) were found at the local lakeside market being given away by a man that said he found them dumped on the side of the road. Adele is in a loving foster home in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to meet more prospective families. Adele is a sweet little girl! Adele gets along well with other dogs. As a puppy, Adele will need some patience while she works on her house training, but her progress is coming along great! We would love for Adele to have a home with a fenced in yard for her to run and play! Adele is up to date on her puppy shots and is spayed. Meet Ajax:  Ajax is a friendly Pit mix that is 1 year old and weighs 38 lbs. Ajax was rescued the day before he was to be euthanized. Ajax is a very sweet and happy boy. He loves playing with other dogs and being around people. Ajax is very active and will need a family that will takes him for long walks or play ball with him outside. Meet Alexis: Alexis is a beautiful Hound mix that is around 2 years old and 45 pounds. Alexis and her one baby were found in Memphis on the side of the road eating trash when Charlie's Crusaders rescued them. Alexis is now being fostered in PA and is ready for her forever home!  Alexis is a great dog, loves to be around people, is good with children, and gets along with other dogs. Alexis also loves to snuggle and will be your best buddy. Alexis will definitely need a fence and a family that will be home with her during the day to give her lots of attention and exercise.  Alexis does well with new people in the home and does not have food aggression with other dogs.  She just wants LOVE. Alexis was spayed on 12/12/2022 and is up to date on all her shots. Meet Arrow: Arrow aka Zachary is up for adoption because his current adopter is returning him because he moved to a new home and he can only have 3 dog’s and no Pit breeds. The adopter adopted Arrow and his sister over a year ago and is keeping his sister because she looks less scary then Arrow. Adopter also took in two small dogs a friend of his had to rehome and so now he wants Arrow gone. Our hearts are breaking for Arrow and we need a loving home for Arrow. Arrow has a high prey drive and is very rambunctious and when he smells something he wants to pursue, he will!!  Children in home should be over 12 years of age as he doesn't realize his size and strenght. Arrow is a Bully mix that is 3.5yrs and weighs 60-65lbs.  Arrow is a lovable and energetic guy. Arrow loved to play with his sister and run around the yard. He is somewhat obiendiant and easily trainable. He is housebroken and is up to date on all his shots and neutered. Arrow loves people but will need to be an only pet. Meet Avalon: Avalon is an 11 week old (as of June 3, 2023) lab mix that weighs 6 pounds. Avalon’s mom wandered up to someone’s home and had this cute litter of puppies at their house (Avalon, Rolls Royce, Kia, Jetta and Camry). Avalon is currently being fostered in the Lancaster, PA area. This “car” litter is a group of playful, loving little babies! Avalon is good with people and other dogs. As a puppy, Avalon will need some patience while she works on her house training. We would love for Avalon to have a home with a fenced in yard for her to run and play! Meet Bally: Bally is a 1 year old (as of May 2023) lab/terrier mix that weighs about 35 pounds. Bally was found in Byhalia, MS. A business owner had many dogs outside on his property to protect his trucks, but unfortunately they were not fixed and he ended up with many unwanted puppies. The parents of the pups are to be fixed while we try to find these little ones good homes. When we first got the pups, they were unsocialized. We have had wonderful fosters working with this litter and Bally's socialization is the most complete of the litter. In fact, his behavior is indistinguishable from ordinary dogs that have come from normal environments where interaction with humans was frequent. Bally will greet you when you come home and jump up on you for a doggie hug. Bally would love a home to feel safe and warm in! Bally will need a home with a fenced in yard. Bally is house trained using a doggie door to go outside and is fairly good on a leash. Bally is up to date on his shots and is neutered. Meet Baloo: Baloo is a 10 week old (as of May 21, 2023) pit/lab mix (best guess) that weighs about 8 pounds. Baloo and his litter mates (Lulu, Oliver, Winston, Toby and Jax) were born in a high kill shelter and we luckily were able to save them and their mama (Lucy) just in time! We have such high hopes for these cuties that we will find them the best families! Baloo is in a foster home in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to meet more prospective families. This litter is your typical happy, playful, snuggly and curious pups! Meet Bane: Bane is a 2 year old (as of May 2023) black mouth cur mix (best guess) that weighs about 65 pounds. Bane was adopted from Charlie’s Crusaders as a puppy but is now in need of a new home because his family is going through a personal situation and are unable to care for him as he deserves. Bane is affectionate and very active. He will need a family that is also active. Bane is good with other dogs and cats. He does well with children, but is best with older children since he doesn’t understand how big he is. Bane knows how to sit and shake. Bane is house trained and crate trained. Bane will need a home with a 6 foot fence - he has some impressive jumping skills. Bane is up to date on his shots and neutered and does well at the vet. Meet Banjo! Banjo is a 5 year old Plott Hound mix weighing about 65 pounds. He is a beautiful boy with his brindle coat and white chest and markings and he has the most expressive face. Banjo is a sweetheart and a fragile soul that likes to be told he is a good boy and he just wants to please. Banjo loves to be active and is a high energy dog. He enjoys walks, hikes, car rides, and playing. Most of all, Banjo enjoys cuddling with his people on the couch. Banjo struggles with confidence and anxiety issues, but has been working on these things with a trainer and will do wonderfully in the right home while continuing his hard work and with an adopter that is knowledgeable with anxious dogs. Banjo is reactive to new situations and he is learning to come out of his shell and be more engaged in the world and not so selective and nervous around strangers. Banjo is also very food motivated! Banjo is well versed in obedience training and knows sit, crawl, down, stay, bed, speak, and roll over. He is muzzle trained, house trained, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. Banjo will not chew on bones or play with toys and his fosters are working on getting him to learn what toys are. Banjo would be best in a home with a single person or couple. Banjo gets along with other dogs when introduced slowly, he will play with them, and could do well in a home with multiple dogs but needs the proper iand slow introduction with an experinced dog owner. Banjo would prefer a home with no children and likes women more than men. Bette gets along with people and dogs, but prefers not to share her food with other pooches. Bette is the life of the party and wants nothing more than your time and attention, though she wouldn't turn down a pool (kiddie or otherwise). Bette is up to date on all of her vaccines, has been spayed, and is ready to find her forever family. Bette is currently in a loving foster home in Lancaster, PA.  Bette would do well in a home with children old enough to understand not take take treats or food from her, ideally age 8+. Meet Birdie (aka Fergie): Birdie is about a 3 year old (as of April 2023) pit mix (best guess) that weighs around 60 pounds. Birdie was seized from a cruelty case and we are so glad we have her safe in a loving environment! Birdie is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Birdie is is a sweet girl who has gotten along with all dogs and people she has met. Birdie loves to play! She gets the play bow zoomies and loves fluffy toys. Birdie has done well with kids, however with her love of zoomie play, it may be best to have her with kids that aren’t as easy to accidentally knock over. Birdie is doing well with house training. Birdie will need a home with a fenced in yard. Birdie is up to date on her shots and spayed. Birdie tested positive for heart worms, but completed her treatments in March 2023. Meet Bonnie: Bonnie is about a 10 year old (as of March 2023) chihuahua mix that weighs 8 pounds. Bonnie was found by an elderly couple 9 years ago hiding under their car very scared, wet, hungry and pregnant. This wonderful couple brought Bonnie in and raised her and her 2 pups (the 3 are a bonded team that we are trying to keep together). Unfortunately, the couple has recently had to enter an assisted living facility and they can no longer have their trio of chihuahuas. Bonnie is currently in a foster home in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north, with her kids, to meet more prospective families. Bonnie is a very gentle, tail-wagging dog that takes just a little time to get to know you and then wants to sit in your lap as best buds. Bonnie, ToJoe, and Whitey are all submissive dogs that are more on the timid side. They get along with other dogs, but don’t have an interest in playing or engaging with them. They prefer to hang out as their trio, but are fine to be near other animals that will just let them be. We would love for them to have a home with a fenced in yard to run and play freely. They seem to be house trained - they don’t head to the door to let you know they need to go out, but they go outside when they are given the opportunity. Bonnie is up to date on her shots and spayed. Meet Brynn:  Brynn is a sweet 2 year old (as of February 2023) Lab/Pit mix that weighs around 40 lbs. Brynn and her two puppies (Brooklyn and Brinks) were living in a ditch behind a gas station when they were rescued. Her pups have found their forever home and now it’s her turn! Brynn is a happy and very loving girl that gets along great with other dogs and loves people. Brynn has a very sweet personality and wants nothing more than to be loved. Brynn loves to snuggle or be by your side - she can be a bit stubborn and won’t take no snuggles for an answer, so she will work her way in to be sure she gets to snuggle with you. Brynn forms tight bonds with her people and will be loyal and can be protective of them. Although Brynn has her sweet disposition, we think an experienced owner will be best for her.
