About Danny
Meet Danny! A 6-7 month old bouncy shepherd/terrier mix puppy. Despite a very challenging and scary start to his life, he is incredibly resilient, and quickly settled in with his foster family, making himself right at home. He is sweet and silly, always bringing laughs to his foster family as he bounds about the house and the yard. He adores his two foster dog siblings, both larger breeds, who are helping him learn what it means to be a beloved family member. He has a typical abundance of puppy energy and loves to play with his balls and plushy toys. He would do well with in a home with other active dogs, or as an only dog with a person who is home the vast majority of the time. He is the definition of a Velcro dog and prefers to be glued to his foster mom and dad every chance he gets. He is a great work from home buddy, and is also working on his crate training when his foster parents are away. He is oh so loving and cuddly, always taking every opportunity to snuggle up with his foster family on the couch or on the bed. He is very inquisitive and his food motivation makes him a quick learner. He is still a puppy, so she will need to continue to work on his house training and manners, but he exhibits no food or toy aggression towards people or other animals. He lives with cats now, and is non-aggressive, but will chase them if they run. He has made great progress on his leash training, but can be nervous on walks with lots of new loud city sounds. He can be a little nervous at first when meeting new people, usually backing up or giving a little bark, but he warms up with kindness and patience (and lots of treats). He is up to date on his vaccinations, but not yet neutered. He is an incredibly special puppy, and will make a great addition to a warm and loving family who will give him the time and space to learn that he is safe and loved.
