Meet Kringle! She's an incredibly smart and curious girl - and just like the pastry, she's as sweet as can be! She has two large foster canine sisters that she loves and she has TONS of energy and wants to play most of the day. Are you a runner? Hiker? Or do you need an accountability buddy to ensure you take a walk every day? If so, you've met your match. 😊 She would also enjoy agility classes! She is crate trained and is also potty trained. She prefers to be around people and where the action is, but also can be independent and do her own exploring. She loves treats, toys, walks, and obedience training. We are still working on manners but she knows: sit, paw, down, off, and wait. We just started working on roll (since she's named after a pastry, we thought this was an important command to learn 😊). She will make a great addition to any home who enjoys an active, goofy dog named after a danish pastry!  Animal is Fostered in: Racine. Hi everyone! I am a true down south hound dog lookin' for my perfect people. I have a gorgeous reddish brown coat with squishy soft skin and huge velvet soft hound dog ears. My foster mom says I'm a true Red bone coon hound. I don't really know if that's true, but I sure do like treeing squirrels in my backyard and a couple times I even got to chase some geese on a walk.  I love to go for walks but if you have the time to take me I'd love to explore. Sniffing walks are the best. I need to live with people who will take me for walks or let me run a lot. I have a fair amount of energy and my foster mom says I do better when I get my wiggles out. She says I need a big yard with a fence cuz I tend to follow my nose. I get nervous sometimes but I am pretty loving. I do have a loud hound dog bay of a bark that might be a little scary to some but I just want you to know I'm there. I love to play. I love my benebone that my foster mom bought me. I love to de-fluff my stuffies but my foster family says it's okay because I can chew on my own stuff-it's mine after all! The vet thinks I'm about two years old but I feel younger. I like to play a lot and I crash pretty hard when I'm tired. I love food but mom says its not good manners to take it off of the counter. I'm working on that. Sometimes the steak is just too mouthwatering! I like most everyone but every once in a while strangers can make me nervous. I'm not mean, I just hear loud sounds or voices or sudden movements and sometimes that can scare me. My foster family protects me from scary people, though. I'd want a family who would protect me and keep me safe. I like kids but sometimes I get a little excited and jump pretty high. So, my foster mom says kids over 10 are probably more my pace.  I was a little nervous when I first came to Wisconsin. It took a couple weeks to really settle in. But there's good smells everywhere and I love exploring new things. We are working on sit. But it's hard cuz the treats smell so good!  I do have a foster dog brother. He is HUGE but is getting a little older and sometimes I annoy him. But we love playing with toys together and running after squirrels in the yard. He loves walking and is showing me how to walk better on a leash. I'm getting pretty good, I think. My foster mom says I love all the attention and wouldn't mind being an only pet but I'd get along with other dogs my size if they're patient. I just want to play, after all. My foster mom says that we don't have cats and she thinks I'd chase them if we did. What's a cat? Are cats like squirrels? I love chasing those! My foster mom says I'm potty trained and crate trained-whatever that means. I know to go potty outside. I had a few accidents at first learning the routine but now I would NEVER go in the house. That's for baby pups! As for the crate, I don't love it. I'm pretty good once I'm in there but I'd rather sleep with you in your bed or on the couch. But I know my foster family puts me in there to keep me safe because they love me.  Could you be my people? Animal is Fostered in: Racine, WI He/She is scheduled for alteration on October, 11th, 2023.  If adopted prior to this date, adopter will sign an alteration contract and submit a $100 reimbursable deposit at the time of alteration.  We ask that the deposit be in the form of a CHECK.   Adopter will be expected to bring the animal to this surgery appointment on day, time and at location scheduled.  If the adopter fails to bring to date of surgery, the deposit will NOT be refunded.  We value the time our Veterinarian's provide us.  We are charged a fee for cancellations or no show appointments.  Missed appointments also delay care that other animals could be receiving. For more information, or to apply for adoption, visit our website at: www.RescueOutreach.com Please note the following will be performed on all animals prior to adoption: Microchip Spay/Neuter (unless medically unable at time of adoption, in which case this will be discussed) Heartworm Testing (dogs);    FELV/FIV Testing (cats) Age appropriate CORE vaccines.  Dhpp, Rabies (if old enough)-dog;  CVR, Rabies (if old enough) - cat  - WE DO NOT ADMINISTER BORDETELLA unless indicated.   PLEASE NOTE- puppies and kittens may need to complete vaccination schedule depending on age at time of adoption.   Dewormed All breeds are best guess from veterinarian based on physical exam.  All animals come from high kill shelters with poor access to resources.  Once they arrive to our rescue they are quarantined for health purposes and spoiled in loving foster homes until their forever home is found!  Our organization is operated 100% by volunteers who give their time and love out of the goodness of their hearts.   show less

Molly lived in the shelter for three months and prior to that she lived outside in her owner’s backyard in Kentucky. She was was jumping their 4 ft fence and getting into the neighbor’s trash. Her owners chose to surrender her and nearly sealed her fate in an overcrowded shelter. Fortunately, the amazing staff at the shelter recognized that Miss Molly deserved a second chance!  In the short time since we have had Molly, we have learned that Molly loves being an “inside” dog and having a family! Molly is housebroken, brave, cuddly, smart, has already learned 3 commands and how to play fetch with her favorite stuffy. She continues to impress us with how quickly she learns new things. Molly gives the best sloppy dog kisses and is dog friendly. I think she would benefit having another dog to play with in the house. Molly is very curious and likes to chase the resident cats. Molly is an active dog and loves to go on walks and hikes. Her new owner will need to help her establish boundaries as she has not been taught how to greet people or other dogs. She would do best with owners who live an active lifestyle, where her need to exercise will be met. Since joining her foster family, Molly has experienced her first walk, swim and having a bed to call her own. She has thrived in just the short time we have had her and not once has she attempted to jump the fence. What she would really like though are owners who treat her like she is part of the family. No little children as Molly is still learning manners.  Animal is Fostered in: Genoa City.  For more information, or to apply for adoption, visit our website at: www.RescueOutreach.com Please note the following will be performed on all animals prior to adoption: Microchip Spay Heartworm Testing (dogs);     Age appropriate CORE vaccines. Our organization is operated 100% by volunteers who give their time and love out of the goodness of their hearts.   show less

Sarah is gorgeous. Here eyes are so brilliant, they almost look white. Sarah is very sweet and very tolerant. We are able to give her baths and trim her nails. She’s great with dogs.  Sarah is completely house trained. She can be left alone or at night uncrated. Sarah’s past is unclear. She was thought to be feral, but her extreme shyness seems to be rooted from human mistreatment. Sarah’s adopters must have a lot of patience and be willing to celebrate small successes in getting over her fears. Her age is the best guess. Sarah continues to make progress. She will come to bed with her foster parents. At work, she now allows many employees to pet her without running and hiding. Perfect home would be free of small children. She tolerates them, but it could slow her growth. Having other dogs in the house would be the best case for her but not necessary. She is great on a leash but regularly is off leash in the city or on the trails.
