Artemis, or Arti Mouse, is a gorgeous petite young female! She came to us in a terrible state: scared, having ringworm, emacietad and under socialized. It is obvious that this poor girl was mistreated! She prefers women over men but she can overcome this! 

She is small but mighty! She as high energy and some good drive and will need a job! She's the type of dog that will hang from a tug toy tied to a tree! She would love someone who can chanel her energy into play, training and activities. Once she bonds w/ her handler, she will do anything for them. She's a total velcro girl and loves snuggling up to her person. 

She is good with other dogs after proper introductions and plays really well with both male and female dogs. She is a bit of an energizer bunny and she will not turn into a pumpkin at midnight but rather get her second wind. She does settle after proper mental and physical stimulation. She prefers confident soft dogs. She respects correction from confident females well. She loves wrestling. 

She works really well on leash for a confident leader. She does best with a structured life and someone who has good boundaries and sets fair and clear expectations.

She is quite timid at first but once she trusts, she is loyal and loving. She hopes for someone patient to see and uncover her potential!

She is very puppy like and is quite mouthy; thus, we prefer no children in the home for this little snap dragon!. She also LOVES chasing and catching rats and bunnies so please no cats or other prey animals.

She is looking for a breed-savvy, experienced home that enjoys training and helping a dog thrive! She has huge potential and is just hoping to find someone who can unlock it! Will it be you??

We are an official 501c3 organization that does not have a physical location. Our home address is in Michigan, however, the majority of our dogs are not located in Michigan. The physical location of each our our dogs is posted with the name of the pet or in the title area. If you are within 4 hours of the pet, please be prepared to pick the pet up. We do provide transport assistance up to 350 miles. The applicant must drive the remainder of the distance of the transport.
