MAD Dustin was trapped in an area in FL called the Redlands.  It's an area know for dogs being dupped.  Neighbords said they saw him for about 2 weeks before local volunteers were able to trap him. We got him all checked out and up to date on vaccines. Dustin is a neutered male 7 months approximate age and he is one fun puppy! He would make a great office dog for someone working from home and has the resume to prove it. He enjoys snuggling with his fosters, during t.v. time. He gets along well with the fosters dog, but will be vocal when playing. He sometimes needs a reminder to take a break during play. He is food motivated and will need a slow feeder as he loves to eat. He has a keen sense of smell and is able to find moles in the yard, may be a good barn hunt candidate. He also loves to run and chase the “rabbit” on the foster’s lure course. The foster reports he does well on the leash, but does still pull to see things. Foster reports he learned sit within a week. He has not cared for or bothered the chickens. He has also been good with children 10 years old, so would likely do well with dog savvy children 10+. He will continue working on potty training and crate training, but has practiced in his foster home and has grown. This older gent is as sweet and mellow as they come. The name El Capitan, Spanish for “The Captain” and the name of a mountain peak in the Sierra Nevada mountain range, suits this boy well. He’s had a mountain to hurdle in healing from an infected old bite wound on his rump and fly strike on his ear tips.Like a salty old ship's captain, he's likely been through things over his life that have made him the resilient, mellow old boy he is now. El Capitan is on the younger side of senior, most likely around 7 years old, and he's looking for family to call his own. He would be an excellent first Dutch Shepherd/Malinois. We aren’t positive of his breeds, but he looks to be at least half Dutch Shepherd. He’s pretty calm and easy, doesn’t pull on a leash and is housebroken. He shows slight interest in squirrels and small critters (he’ll bark at them taunting him from outside ), but he is easily redirected. And while he mostly ignores other dogs, he is a bit dog selective. He’s not a fan of barky little dogs and will grump back at dogs who grump at him over a fence (nothing out of control, just a little grumping). We’re still getting to know this sweet boy, but so far he seems to know how to sit, and he really just wants to do what you ask him to do. We will be testing him with cats and kids this week. And we will start working with him this week to see what he knows and doesn’t know. What we do know about him is that he truly is just a gentle old soul who needs a family to love him and appreciate his mellow sweetness and slow pace. Ella is a super sweet young girl who just wants belly rubs and has an overall great off switch! She also loves going on walks and hikes! She’s very biddable and wants to please. She has medium energy and loves to play tug! She is liking her crate and will choose to hang out in it sometimes. She is very good on her cot, working on place command, even under distractions. She's learning lots of obedience from her foster and is starting to master recall. She is great in the house and not destrcutive at all! Her foster says she is the easiest dog to have around, so cuddly and sweet as well as playful. We prefer a home where someone is home a lot as she doesn't like being on her own for extended periods of time. She loves her furry foster sister annd they would play all day if they could. Ella is a bit slow to warm with other dogs, definititely prefers humans, but once she is used to another dog, she is all game and play! Proper and slow introductions are a must with her! She has been around children ages 10 and up and did really well! Untested w/ very small children but given her lower drive and energy levels she could do well but supervision is always expected! She would happily lay on the couch and get pets all day or go on adventures and play. She will make a wonderful companion dog for someone! Fett is an approximaltely 6-8 month old black Belgian Malinois mix puppy that was found running for a least a month in the Redlands area of Florida near Miami.  He and his sister had to be trapped. Fett is a sweet and goofy puppy. He loves to chew on things and play with his foster dog siblings. He is working on his leash and crate trianing. He is also still working on potty training, but is clean in his crate. His foster's let him sleep with them without issue. He is scared of the vaccuum, but with a bully stick or pig ear in the crate he is able to handle it.  He is pretty shy in public places, so will need continued socialization. He has visited a pet store and got lots of pets and showed no signes of aggression. He met another puppy in public and hid behind his foster, but showed no signs of aggression. He is pretty curious about most things when given a chance to warm up. He knows how to sit and is working on stay and does pretty well when he has a big fur sibling to follow. He also knows how to go to his crate with a simple point of the finger. He also enjoys playing tug-of-war and chasing. He was able to go to a restaurant and once he concurred his fear he was able to take a nice little nap. He does well on car rides and loves a good puppuccino. Unsure on children and cats at this itme. Overall, he is a very sweet, smart, and cuddly puppy. Furiosa "Fury” is a three year old Belgian Malinois Dutch Shepherd cross from very impressive, working dog lines. Her adopter will enjoy a rare opportunity to partner with a gorgeous dog who has already had all the hard work done. This stunning girl has already had extensive obedience training in both English and German and has a strong obedience foundation.. She has significant on leash, and off leash training, to include a strong recall, is house/crate trained, and is very well mannered in public. Fury is a sweet, athletic girl who enjoys, hiking, playing discs, dock diving and training with her human partner. She may excel at Fast Cat or Barn Hunt, shows significant promise at scent work and may be an excellent candidate for Search and Rescue. The sky is the limit for the right active partner to experience the dog of a lifetime with this exceptional Dutchie girl.   Fury has been lovingly raised with an older Dutchie and two young children.  She gets along well with other dogs and even tolerates chickens! She is not dog or child aggressive but may resource guard and for that reason will not be placed in a home with younger children.  She should always be fed alone to make her feel secure.
